First off all where ask for a early check in, and directly where get the nice answer, where can go for it. First off all Yannis was waiting for us wirh a warm welcom witch feels like home,he bring us in our totally cozy and comfortaple Apartment with oecan view and directly in front off the very beautifull und very blue and clean Pool, witch where was using also late at night time, our room was having 2 Balkonies and a totaly confortable Bed, with a very big matratze in it. Where are to much thanksfull for the first aid Lunch Paket in the refigreator, Everthing is fresh in a fresh smell and very clean and the Apartment feels like home, wher was having a complet romantic and perfect stay in Yannis Haus Esplanade, he is a reale lovley Host, For Sure where will come back soon And where are so happy and thanksfull he make the work and wrote down, so planty sigrhseeing atractions and beautifull Restaurant, that was very special for us and make us the Holiday easly, thanks for the effort to Yannis

Owner and host super sympathic and welcoming, really helpful he can suggest you all the activities to do on the island!! Swimming pool very nice with a nice view over the sea at sunset. All was great, price for quality, welcoming host, comfortable apartment, air conditioner, wifi , tv , free umbrellas (to take to the beach), regular flat cleanings, kitchen well equipped, towels changed every 2 days and we had also swim towels(!), we even had received some food in the fridge gently offered by the structure(!!!). Tip: Rent a Car is a MUST because you can really visit all the island, without it won't be so easy by public transports, those are rare and time is gold on holidays, and considering that this residence is located outside Chania, which in my opinion it is much better because Chania is stucked in the traffic to reach it and to leave it (I wouldnt spend more than 1-2 evening in Chania, considering the traffic), while being on the peninsula the location was perfect. Many beaches and places to visit and delicious and cheap restaurants to see around in a few km area, and the main highway to go to Heraclion or Rethymno (on the East), or Kissamos/Balos/Elafonisi (to the West) is only 12-15 min by car. Once there you can take a Superstrada/Highway and avoid Chania traffic and go rapidly In general east or west to the most famous other destinations of the Island. A car in western part of crete is a MUST, if you want to see the most famous places around and not being obliged to pay taxi or have rare busses. Last but not least Iannis our host was great. Kalathas has also a lovely beach with small island in front reachable at 100m by swim, which is maybe 600m walk from the hotel, and another nice small beach just 150 meters from the hotel. I can't recommend enough this place, we really had a great time.

The host Yiannis was incredibly nice and helpful. Upon arriving, Yiannis met us in the reception and showed us to a spacious, clean room where the fridge was stocked with water, milk, a welcome bottle of wine, and enough bread for breakfast for the week. The room also came equipped with a two stove hob, microwave, coffee machine, and basic kitchenware. Yiannis then gave us a printed suggested itinerary, and took the time to show us where everything was on the island with a large map, all of his suggestions were incredibly helpful and much appreciated. Throughout our stay, Yiannis was a welcoming presence and always on hand to answer any questions (even on WhatsApp when we were out and about). The room was kept clean, and the bedsheets and towels were regularly changed. Overall, we had a great stay, and would recommend to anyone looking for a simple apartment, with a lovely host, at a very reasonable price.

The décor is a little dated in places (curtains, furniture etc.), but for how reasonable the cost it, that really is nit-picking.

The apartment was well maintained and very clean and the Gianni and Michalis (the owners) were so kind and helpful during our entire stay there. They even helped arrange a day trip with another family staying there to go visit beautiful beaches for a day!

We loved everything about the property. The location is a little far from the city but there is a bus nearby that takes you into the city and runs all day long until 10 pm.

The apartment was cleaned regularly and had everything we needed. The pool is really lovely and nice to be able to watch the sunset in the evenings. The complex was quiet when we stayed so we had the pool to ourselves a lot of the time, which was really nice. The closest beach about 15 minutes walk is lovely!

Location was a little bit out of the way and buses only ran every two hours into Chania town, with no late returns so had to get a taxi each time. The only local shops are small, have everything you’d need for a short stay but a little expensive. If you had a car then this wouldn’t be an issue.

We recently stayed at this property and had a more than pleasant experience. The sea view was beautiful, the pool was refreshing, and our room was comfortable and modern. The Wi-Fi worked well, which was convenient for staying connected. When we arrived, there were bread, drinks, cheese and ham in the fridge. Overall, it's a really good choice for a relaxing getaway! During our stay, we had the privilege of meeting the exceptional host of this place - Iannis. His passion for hospitality was outstanding, and he truly was the heart and soul of the place. Whether through WhatsApp or in person, he was always available and made us feel incredibly well taken care of. His dedication to ensuring our stay was memorable added an extra layer of warmth and comfort to our experience. Iannis's presence was a highlight of our visit, and his genuine enthusiasm for being a host shone through in every interaction.

Yiannis is a lovely host, he done so much for us when we was there, my girlfreind became ill, he went out of his way and went to the chemist for us and picked up some tablets to help. He also helped us out with booking some taxis into chania. Couldn't of asked for a better host. The apartments are cleaned daily without fail which is such a nice touch, the cleaning staff are also very friendly. The apartments have everything you need in there to cook. The pool has an incredible view and is so peaceful sat around during the day. Would go back in a heart beat

There isn't many restaurants within walking distance from the apartments, there is only 2, one is a hotel and other one is a taverna, but both are 15 minute walk down a hill to the nearest beach. I would advise either rent some sort of motorcycle or a car. Also the curtains could be a little thicker or a darker colour as it let's light in when sun comes up. Apart from that everything else was fine.

Yiannls was very welcoming and generously provided some starter foods and beers for us. The 3br apartment was clean, spacious with great views of the pool and the sea.

The close “beach” was reached by a very rough track and had a ladder to get out of the water as there was no other way out. Clearly not a fault of the property but worth noting if you’re not very nimble. Kalathas beach down the hill was great.

Fantastic place, super clean (huge thanks to Ms Alexandra !), well-located (10 mins walk to beautiful, sandy beach, 5 mins to local, well-equipped store), great pool, very comfy rooms, well-equipped kitchen, and most of all - amazing host (Hi Yannis !). Host is always ready to help, sharing lots of useful recommendations for dining and tripping, great attitude, we really felt taken care of. I would definitely go back ! Best is to fly to Chania airport rather than Iraklio. Renting a car is definitely recommended.

The apartment is very new, modern and stylish, in a gerat location (5-10 minutes walk from the beach, supermarkets are really close). There are no traffic, so it is really quite. The bed was very comfortable, and the room was cleanded every day. The cleaning lady was very kind, we loved her! Our host Yiannis is one of the best host we have ever meet, he was really helpful, he smiles all the time. We felt we known each other from a long time. All hosts should be like him! It was clear that the most important for him is to make his guests happy. He helped us to rent a car in the really last moment, he gave many really usefull advices. There is a nice pool where the view is amazing, we enjoyed many sunsets from there. Easy parking in the street. We really want to come back as soon as possible.
