We an amazing stay at Gundari. I had a chat with one of the owners who was checking in with guests. I was really impressed by the efforts they’d made to have a sustainable footprint. Folegandros is a real untouched gem. The town is charming, offering a peaceful and authentic Greek island experience. Rooms have all the five-star modern conveniences you’d expect, but the atmosphere is unpretentious. I liked the little touches like the vinyl in my room. The team are friendly and accommodating, and breakfast featured delicious, healthy options. The infinity pool overlooking the Aegean with a swim-up bar was spectacular. We also loved our private pool, made more enjoyable with the room service.

Everything was great. We will be back!

Where to start.....The staff are professional & friendly, Gundari"s Spa treatment makes you "float" and the breakfast & dinner were absolutely top class, not to mention the bar & atmosphere. The main infinity pool and view were simply stunning as well!! Located only mins from the main town of Chora makes it very convenient and is a must-see. So many serene little beaches to be discovered and the water is crystal clear.....I really didn't want to leave

This beautiful resort on the picturesque island of Folegandros completely exceeded my expectations. The staff went above and beyond to assist with hiring a quad bike, taking us to the port and the town of Chora and giving us tips on how to enjoy the island. Breakfast was exceptional - didn't need to eat again until dinner every day. Room with our own pool was so indulgent it was hard to leave. Being so remote and operating with a sustainable ethos may not appeal to those who need long showers and daily linen turnover but to the rest of us who understand that capturing water and generating electricity has restrictions it's a joy to support a hotel that is on a sustainable journey.

We stayed in the ‘standard’ suite - although there is nothing ‘standard’ about this suite or resort. The room was just ‘stunning', the significantly large space struck me first along with the earthy yet luxury vibe instantly relaxed me. Then the epic view which takes your breath away and exquisite meals to elevate the experience of our stay. Felt very surreal to be somewhere so beautiful, felt like I was instantly in holiday mode and in the best place to relax.

Stunning location, feels remote but not far to drive into Chora. The hotel is beautiful, the room was a great size and the private balcony and pool area was wonderful. The a la carte breakfast was wonderful, and we really enjoyed drinks and dinner there too

Everything! It is stunningly located overlooking the Mediterranean Sea as far as the eye can see. Facilities are gorgeous and so beautifully designed. Our room was huge and with private pool, terrace, even a record player! And the staff are so kind and helpful. Highly recommended.

Amazing rooms in this hotel, the private pool with the view of the sea has to be seen to be believed. Great facilities, lovely food and complimentary yoga. The breakfast was also delicious.

We absolutely loved our time in Gundari and Folegandros. The hotel is stunning in every way, such beautiful design in a stunning location. The Spa is really special, and I had probably the best massage I have ever had anywhere. We cant wait to come back next year.

No privacy around our pool Room noise due to high wind. Make it tricky to sleep We thought with the extreme wind the staff could have been more responsive to helping us to alternative activities
