We read the positive reviews and thus had very high expectations and we can only say they were by far exceeded. Such a wonderful place. Really well equipped modern apartments with everything you may wish for (even a parasol for the beach). It’s super clean, the pool is awesome the garden the perfect place to get some rest. But what makes this place truly wonderful is Maria. Such a warm and welcoming soul. She made sure we always had everything we needed and was so kind. Thank you so much!

Very clean modern complex just some km from the sea, in the mid of the nice village where you can enjoy the nature, calm environnement and greek hospitality. The apartment was fully equipped, spacious, beds are very comfortable, modern design both inside and outside, own parking. Very nice local taverna just 2 min walk from the complex in case you dont want to cook yourself. The host Maria was extremely friendly and shared with us a lot of useful information. We were lucky as on top of usual welcome gifts like a Greek wine, Maria has cooked for us Sfakiane pies that were just the meal of the Gods! :))) Maria, once again many many thanks for your hospitality! Ideally located to visit the entire island, east to west. Quiet, clean and peaceful.

You definitely need a car.

Perfectly clean, you have everything you could need. The hostess Maria was exceptional.

This was the best stay in Greece, by far! Everything is new, the attention to details is really unbelievable, the rooms, the garden, everything is perfectly clean and super well taken care of. Maria is a lovely lady, super helpful and kind! Rethimno with it's lovely tavernas is 5mins by car, you have tones of beaches around but I recommend the south beaches that are amazing and not very crowded (30 40mins by car) I totally recommend the place!

For someone who travels albeit ( quite)extensively, reviews on hotels and apart hotels are written after much benchmarking. Maria the host of Coconut Palm is an absolute Gem and goes out of her way to ensure your stay is comfortable. The rooms far exceed expectations and I can say photos don’t do as much justice as the real deal. Spacious rooms, modern decor , furniture and fittings . Fully kit out kitchen and having the washing machine, dishwasher and terrace spaces make it ideal for families. and long stays. The location is beautiful , away from all the hustle and bustle of town ( 4min drive) but also convenient to supermarkets , restaurants and most importantly to lovely family owned / run, non touristy activities such as Olive farms, honey museums, wineries and superb Cretan food. It’s well located , allowing you to head either direction of the island with ease via the A90. The owners are polite and humble. They decorated the villa knowing we had a celebration and left us cake, wine and a gift. The best part was that we didn’t miss a thing , had nothing short and was a home away from home in every sense. Will definitely be back and never hesitate to recommend this place .

Honestly can’t think of anything at all. Even the neighbor offered fruits from his orchard !

We stayed three nights at Coconut Palm Paradise and we LOVED it. Our family of four had two one-bedroom apartments on the ground floor, with outdoor patios overlooking the pool. This is a wonderfully quiet oasis in the small Cretan village of Gallos, located in the hills above Rethymno (just 5 mins drive). With a pretty church at the end of the street, olive trees aplenty, and quiet roads, this is the real Crete, and we fell in love with the place. We wish we could have stayed longer. - Ideal location for families, couples, and small groups - short or long stay - The complex is white, bright, modern, and super clean, and the apartments are spacious, with excellent facilities - Beds are super comfortable (not always our experience in Greece but no problems here!) - Bathrooms and shower are fabulous - The pool is a highlight - private, beautifully clean, and we had it to ourselves most of the time. - Maria, the on-site manager, is such a lovely person, very helpful and hardworking. Thank you for making our stay such a good one, Maria! - An excellent base from which to easily explore the north & south coasts, including spectacular gorges and panoramic views - we loved Plakias & Kalypso beaches on the south coast and Episkopi beach on the north coast (just 10 mins west of Rethymno). - 10 mins drive above Gallos we visited the old Minoan cemetery - it's on the map & definitely worth visiting. - Spiro's Taverna in Gallos is a must-visit, just a short stroll from Coconut Palm - Two small markets nearby for any essentials, plus some good bakeries just a short drive away

Nothing. It was a pleasure to return to this quiet oasis at the end of a hot day of sightseeing & travelling. If you're unsure about the out-of-town location, please don't be - book it!

We had a wonderful stay at Coconut Palm Paradise! We stayed in the two bed apartment which totally surpassed our expectations: everything seemed really new, it was very spacious and there was a private roof terrace as well as more than one balcony! The swimming pool is a good size and kept extremely clean, plenty of space for sunbathing around the pool. We got the local bus into town from the University which was very cheap (1.20EUR) and takes about 15 mins to town. Maria was on hand for anything we needed, and was the perfect host!

The apartament is nice and spacious . the kitchen is well equipped , u can find there everyrhing u need ! at arrival we were welcomed with a basket of fresh fruits and that was a nice touch ! very comfy beds and pillows . Maria was super frendly and receptive ! the pool is nice and clean . the location not to far away from rethymno .

the only thing that shoul be improved is the cleaning…they ahould come once a few days at least to clean the apartaments ( we stayed 1 week there but nobody came for cleaning ) in rest everything was amazing and we are deff considering comeing again !
