My husband became ill on vacation and had to go to the hospital in Rethymnon. That's why I chose this hotel to be close to him. I was treated very nicely and friendly by all the staff. The willingness to help, especially from the receptionists, was unique. Thank you

We stayed in room 404,for one night, which was of a decent size for 2 people. The hotel had a lift and a nice seating area outside although balcony was plexiglass and being 4 floors up could create vertigo. Which luckily it didn't. The hotel was close to both old, and new towns, and the local bus station. The general feel of the hotel was one of need for a refirb. The air-conditioning was very old and didn't have a handset and had to be operated from a wall switch which was very awkward. And in ever increasing temperatures could be a real problem.

Only the out of date air-conditioning switch mechanism, on the wall. But big issue in hot weather 😒.

for my two nights of life it is quite good. I like the location of the hotel close to the Old Town. It is very good to walk from the bus station through the park. The administration fulfilled my wishes. I wish you success!

I wish the customer service manager to think about the neighbors when booking. If a senior lives there, then young guys should not be accommodated nearby. 😀

People who work there

The people who work there create a feeling that you don’t care about the downsides of the hotel. Still, the rooms could use some renovation and the breakfast could be more varied, but I’d be lying if I said it really bothered me that much

Location. A short stroll to the old town. Superbly located. Buffet breakfast with a tasty selection of hot savoury breakfast dishes. My favourite; baked tomatoes topped with grilled Herby cheese and ham and feta scrambled cum omelette eggs and also corn kernels. But lots of usual cereals, breads and Greek breakfast/continental. Left luggage. So helpful for having a day to explore after check out and before my bus without a heavy rucksack. Late check out time. It was possible to enjoy a leisurely breakfast and time to digest and pack after with a 12 midday check out. Excellent Size of room. Good and spacious

The windows in my room let easy transmission of noise from the street (voices and traffic). Ear plugs helpful and quiet in the small hours. Didn't detract from a great stay so much so I have booked for another 2 nights at the hotel on my return from further west and south

The location was perfect, in the heart of the old city, near the lovely beach (15 min walk).The breakfast was good, the staff is exceptional, two girls from the reception are very kind, nice and ready to help you with every request.

Maybe the noise from the street but it is general problem if you want to stay in the central part of the city, close to the beach and old city. It is minor details.

A specific attitude of a receptionist when we asked for a help to order food at very late night. We understand that the hotel didn't have this services but we asked if they know where we can order. Hopefully another customer was their and help us. The issue was the reception reaction. He didn't want to help at all. A hotel receptionist should be able to help and answer at least in a nice way if he cannot.

- The location was excellent and perfect for anyone traveling/wishing to move around on foot or by local transit: across the beautiful municipal garden, a couple of minutes away from the Old Town of Rethymno, 12-minute walk to the central bus station (with connections to Chania, Chania Airport, Heraklion, and other destinations), 15-minute walk to Rethymno Beach. - The hotel staff was super-friendly and of great assistance. I deeply appreciate the fact that I was able to check in at midnight, and that they let me leave my suitcase in a luggage room for a few hours after my checkout, so that I would take a walk around town before my departure from Rethymno. - Breakfast was tasty and consisting of a nice variety of savoury and sweet options, as well as hot and cold beverages. - The overall hotel experience is really good for people traveling alone and/or for business.

The wall-mounted hair dryer was a little wobbly (swifching off and on), but it was only a minor inconvenience.

We have stayed here many times over the years and it has never failed to be very satisfactory. Only little problem has been the loss of the roof garden which was an excellent facility.

As above and it is minor. Loss of roof garden bar which was always a great asset.

Everything, a good hotel, excellent location, friendly staff. This was my third time to stay there

Once again, the pool was closed and the rooftop bar was closed too
