We loved the Teddybears! They gave no insight at how beautiful the hotel is from inside the gate. A little oasis in the middle of the hustle and bustle of Old Town Rethymno. Step out the door and you are in one of the best areas for mingling with everyday Rethymno life. We liked our room it was spacious and light beautifully furnished and the bed was incredibly comfortable. The bathroom is superb! The owner, Manos is such a great guy, very helpful and easy to communicate with. He gave us some excellent suggestions for 'off the beaten track' places to visit.

There really are no negative points to staying here.

Extremely well located. You are close to the main areas, yet inside this hotel is surprisingly quiet and we slept very well here. The only noise we heard was the church in the morning, just to say this was not early and we actually liked it : ) Kind and patient owner who informed showed us the facilities and around the apartment Electronic security - no need for keys or keycards, this is a big positive as you can easily lose these things. Excellent shower, bathroom and very comfortable bed. Two coffee pods and mineral water in refrigerator is always appreciated. There is no parking with this property and as we were driving we found affordable parking in Rethymno Port. It's a short walk for us (15 mins). Im sure this is fine for most people and maybe there is nearer, but we don't mind a short walk. There is very little complain about and we would recommend staying here again if we returned to this area - hence we will give it a 10.

Wifi was a bit slow for us when we used it, so we used our own hotspots on our mobile phones. We didn't raise it as an issue in fairness to the owner, as we were able to work around this (minor issue).

The accommodation has a good central location and the host is charismatic. There are also several restaurants and bars in the area. The suite is spacious, clean and has various facilities (such as a hairdryer and iron).

A downside is that only a limited number of channels work on the television. The main entrance has no lock and it is possible for anyone to enter. Furthermore in the evening onwards, there is no one at the reception and that makes it vulnerable to unwanted tresspassers. On one of the days we arrived at our suite, we saw that the door of our room was open unexpectedly. Afterwards it turned out that the door had not been closed properly after cleaning. Even though the host has apologized for this, this gave us an unpleasant feeling especially since literally anyone could enter our room.

Very clean modern and spacious apartment in a great location. The host was very friendly and helpful. I really recommend this to everyone.

Nothing to not like.

Everything was wonderful, the owner was very helpful and gave us tips and tricks for the stay. Built in 2023, everything was new, clean and state of the art ( newest silent model of air conditioning). Location was great and very silent day and night!

The was a church near and the bells where a bit loud sometimes but far from a problem to me.

Beautiful place to stay, very modern and stylish, very comfortable. We loved the location, it was right in the town, very peaceful and relaxing. The owner was very accommodating and helped us with anything we needed during our stay (transfer, getting a wash done!). Would highly recommend staying here.

There was nothing we didn’t love!

Well equipped and spacious room. Location was very good - inside the old town walls so easy walk to everywhere. Comfortable and very good quality linens and toiletries provided.

Comms from the Booking.com platform did not clearly indicate parking location/procedure - raised this with the very helpful owner and he was going to investigate. Google ahead yourself to make sure you can use the large parking lot just outside, which is restricted some days of the week and prepay the day rate only €5)

Very convenient location, in the old town but close to parking. Beautifully decorated room and perfect for our one night stay with a baby and a toddler. Mr. Manolis was lovely and was on hand to give us great recommendations.

The window above the bed looked onto the outdoor corridor, which meant we kept the blinds closed. However that didn’t really bother us as we were out most of the time and you could use the seating by the pool if you wanted to sit and relax.

We spent 7 wonderful nights at Casa di Gaga and absolutely loved it! Mr. Manolis was an excellent host, always welcoming and attentive to our needs. The location in the heart of Rethymno was perfect—such a beautiful and charming town with everything just a short walk away. Staying in the city center allowed us to fully enjoy the local atmosphere and explore the stunning surroundings. We highly recommend it for anyone visiting!
