Casa Moazzo was fantastic! From the warm greeting to the magnificently decorated rooms, to the delicious breakfast and the wonderful staff, Casa Moazzo was a dream stay for me during my visit in Rethymno. The suites were extremely well appointed, beautifully decorated, with ample space to relax and unwind. Great thought and consideration have gone into the design of these suites - delightful! A wonderful breakfast was served on the beautiful hotel patio each morning - a perfect way to start the day. Casa Moazzo was ideally located in the old town allowing effortless exploration of the old town and the venetian harbour. A family-run oasis in Rethymno that I will definitely return to:-).

We booked a studio apartment on the first floor. It was clean, tastefully furnished and very comfortable. There was a refrigerator and some crockery but no cooking facilities. Our stay included a lovely breakfast each morning and the staff were friendly and helpful. The apartment is located in the old town and is surrounded by cafes and restaurants, close to supermarkets and an easy walk to see the fortress. There is paid parking nearby but as the markets are held there on Thursdays you can’t park there after midnight on Wednesday. We moved our car to the free carpark (which is not much further away) late Wednesday afternoon after the day trippers had left. We would highly recommend these apartments.

Lack of basic cooking facilities

A beautiful historic building, with a detailed and very tasteful design that makes your vacation a dream. The interior courtyards, were you can drink a good wine, became in the evening the most beautiful place that does*t let you go to bed. I completely agree and there are no more words of praise compared to other clients regarding the hosts, the location and all the amenities. We benefited from everything we wanted: beauty,, hospitality, peace and just 10-15 minutes to a beautiful beach with fine sand.

We loved everything about Moazzo suite. All the staff were very attentive and professional, we felt very well looked after. They even prepared us a takeaway breakfast when we had an early activity the following morning. Our suite was very spacious and super comfortable. The location was very central, few minutes walk from the harbour and all the restaurants and bars. The breakfast was also delicious with little homemade greek delicacies. We would love to come again and spend a few more days.

This hotel appartment was one of the best we ever visited. The welcoming was kind and friendly. They informed us and invited us with sweets and drinks. They ask us what we would like to have for breakfast. The breakfast was great, fresh orange juice, the quality and varity of food was amazing. The service was very warm and kind :) The rooms are a dream with little small details and modern furnitures and equipment. We enjoyed our stay very very much! That hotel is one of a kind, a brilliant in the middle of Crete in Rethymno.

Staff are amazing and couldn't be more helpful with providing advice, we followed all of it to a T and never went wrong. Breakfast has a very homely feel to it, it's a buffet-style but with a personal touch as they make your eggs and bring your sliced fruit and coffee to you. The building, its history and the atmosphere are all amazing, as is the cleanliness, which is immaculate. We stayed in the Pegasus Suite, which is very big, comfortable and with great aircon. Location is perfect, close to everything a tourist might want: beach, old town (bang on in the middle), high street, and rent a car for some sightseeing around the island (which I recommend doing at least for a part of your stay). All in all, exceptional service and we were very happy with our stay.

It's an island and water is scarce, water pressure in the shower could've been a bit higher but it didn't bother us at all - it's to be expected. Only listing it here because I know some travellers have a high expectation here so it's worth mentioning.

It was truly exceptional. Many thanks to Anna and her wonderful team for creating the perfect environment for a lovely vacation. The suites are located in a quiet area of the old town and close to the fortress, the port and the beach. The room was very clean and beautifully decorated. Anna's a fantastic host who promotes the beautiful people and places of Crete, guiding us in visiting the most coolest beaches and tavernas.

Our suite was fantastic. From the amenities to the decoration. It was just perfect. The building itself was something to admire. It was an old building from the Venetian times. Of course it was renovated but still holding the historical aspects of it. The breakfast was also really good. It included fresh orange juice, freshly made eggs, local pastries and local fruit. I loved the little garden where we had breakfast every morning. I also appreciated it that there was a back door we could enter or exit without going through the reception every time.

The only thing I have to say here is that the tap in the bathroom was splattering water which was a bit annoying. I forgot to mention it when I was asked for feedback. Other than that everything else was great.

We loved everything about this property and can’t say enough about how welcomed we felt! We chatted with Anna who made us feel like family besides the other staff members and wanted to make sure we were well taken care of. They even helped with parking and retrieving our car! The breakfast area was amazing, with stone architecture and a garden like setting and there was a variety of amazing local foods for breakfast! We had a newer apartment which was roomy, quiet, clean and comfortable. It was only a few minutes walk to all the shops and the port. Great place to stay! We hope To visit again!

We loved it all!

This is the most perfect hotel! Everything that could have been thought of to make a stay more pleasant and memorable had been covered - from the beautiful clean rooms with huge comfy beds to the fabulous staff, who were professional, knowledgeable and so friendly and open. Very easy to walk out and wander around the old town for hours; 15 minute walk to fantastic beach; brilliant souvlaki joint two minutes walk away. Extremely good value, will certainly return to see Ana and her crew when we can!
