Stelios and his staff made us feel so welcome and couldn't do enough for us to make our stay the best. Andreas' cocktails were delicious and always served with conversation and smiles. The hotel is kept immaculately clean and our room was perfectly serviced every day. We stayed in a room with Private pool which made our stay even more special and the views over the sea and fortress were amazing. Breakfast was varied and freshly prepared and the food served at the pool bar was tasty and great value. Would highly recommend the hotel and hope to travel back soon!

Absolutely loved our stay at Archipelagos Hotel! From the moment we arrived, everything exceeded expectations. The hosts were incredibly warm, welcoming, and helpful, making us feel right at home. The staff was always smiling and professional, creating a relaxing and positive atmosphere throughout our stay. The hotel itself is spotless, with elegant, tastefully decorated rooms and common areas that show real attention to detail. It’s perfectly located, just a short stroll from the heart of Rethymno, a town that feels like it’s been plucked from a postcard—charming, cozy, full of history, and alive with local culture. The food is excelent. Enjoying breakfast with a sea view was my favorite part of the day. This place is more than a hotel—it’s an experience. We left with full hearts (and full bellies), and we’ll absolutely be back! Highly recommended to anyone looking for an authentic, beautiful, and peaceful stay in Crete.

Our stay at Archipelagos Hotel in Rethymno was nothing short of exceptional. Although it’s officially rated as a 4-star hotel, for us, it felt every bit like a 5-star experience — and more. From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed by the hotel’s manager, Mr. Stelios. He greeted us with a genuine smile and made us feel at home right away. Throughout our stay, he was constantly present, offering thoughtful recommendations for places to eat, beaches to visit, and local attractions we might have otherwise missed. Thanks to his insight, we got to explore the real, vibrant side of Crete — not just the touristy parts. Stelios has a rare gift. He understands people, anticipates their needs, and makes you feel like more than just a guest — he makes you feel like a friend. You can tell he's been in this business for a long time, and he truly loves what he does. We've already promised to return in the next couple of years, this time with our child — and I can’t wait to see Stelios again and experience his warm hospitality once more. The hotel itself is spotless. Our room was recently renovated — everything smelled fresh and new, the bed was incredibly comfortable, the air conditioning worked perfectly, and the view... breathtaking. One of the best in Rethymno. The spacious balcony was also a great bonus. The breakfast was fresh and diverse every morning, with options for every taste. The food by the pool was a huge (and delicious) surprise — high-quality, beautifully prepared, and served quickly. The entire staff was polite, efficient, and always ready to help. Housekeeping was impeccable — not just surface-level cleaning, but real attention to detail. Archipelagos isn’t just a place to stay. It’s a place to feel welcome, to feel cared for, to relax, and to make memories. Mr. Stelios and his team created something special here — and we’ll always be grateful for it.

We have spent absolutely amazing week at Archipelagos hotel. All the facilities are wonderful, we had huge room, which was cleaned every day, towels and everything changed as well. Room had huge balcony with 2 sun beds Where one could spend quality time. Hotel has huge pool with both sections for kids and adults. Pool is also cleaned daily. Sun beds around the pool are are super comfortable. Bar and restaurant have very reasonable prices. The beach is right across the street. There are no sun beds on the beach if you are planning to spend some time there, but hotel will provide umbrellas. This was not huge problem as we were spending most of the time at the pool and just going to swim in the sea. Old town of Rethymnon is 20 minutes away by walk. There are plenty of markets and pharmacies around the hotel. So many good things should be said about staff, everyone is super friendly and helpful, Mr. Stelios himself recommended many good places in the city, Andreas from the bar also had great suggestions. Will be back at Archipelagos for sure.

Very friendly and welcoming staff, special thanks to the young lady at the reception and the bartender who went above and beyond to make my stay enjoyable. Modern and well-equipped rooms. Beautiful view of the sea, the fortress and the coastline. A small beach is right in front of the hotel, perfect for a quick swim. The pool terrace with sun loungers and a bar adds to the relaxing atmosphere. Breakfast was excellent — fresh, tasty, with local products, a nice mix of continental options and Greek specialties with plenty of vegetables, fruits and treats. A nice personal touch at the end: the hotel owner came to say goodbye. Highly recommended!

We stayed at this hotel during our holiday in Crete. We usually choose other accommodations (apartments) but this hotel amazed us! As soon as we arrived, Stelios accompanied us to our room: clean, minimal but with everything we needed and with a breathtaking view of the sea. We slept with the sound of the waves. Fantastic! As a perfect host, Stelios gave us advice on what to visit and where to eat: advice we followed while being pleasantly impressed! The hotel has a very nice pool and a well-stocked breakfast. The location is strategic for reaching the best beaches. Crete is a magical island. We absolutely recommend this hotel! Thanks.

Hotel is in good location. Easy few minutes walk to the Old Town. Hotel's pool deck has great look over the sea and for the sunset view. Beach is just across the street and not crowdy with people. Cleanness and housekeeping is in high level. Air-conditioning is working perfectly. Friendly staff always willing to help you if you have any questions. Beakfast had lot of variety and was fresh everyday. The lady was cooking eggs and other warm food for you.

Breakfast room had too less tables, even there is space to have more in both inside and outside. Couple of mornings people had to wait in line for free table when entering the breakfast area before others finished their breakfast. Easy to fix. Sounds from corridor were coming clear to room.

The stay was incredible. The staff was very helpful, they all went out of their way to make our stay perfect. We had no problem during our stay in the hotel. The rooms were very clean, as well as common areas of the hotel. The location is great, the area is very quiet, but it's close to the city centre, the beach is across the street, a lot of great waterfront restaurants are nearby. The breakfast in the hotel was great, the food was diverse, fresh and very tasty. The staff helped us with everything, arranged a lot of things for us, we didn't worry about anything there. In general, the experience in this hotel was amazing, we were very pleased with staff, and it definitely exceeded our expectations.

I loved the hotel itself- so clean and beautiful. The location was PERFECT! The most adorable beach just right across the road and an easy walking distance to the old town and restaurants. The food available from the pool bar was amazing and the service by Andreas was so perfect. And the staff were all SO GREAT! We were so warmly welcomed by Mr. Stelios who took such care with our check in’s We had a lot of fun just hanging out by the pool, enjoying the views or walking into old town. There is also a 24 hour convenience store just across from the hotel which was great.
