Great location. Comfortable with classic style. Kind staff and very nice breakfast.

Some people have commented negatively about the animals on the property (cats/dogs outside). We have family members very allergic to cats, etc. but had no issues with anything in the hotel or with the birds in the cage (our son liked these). If you a hotel without seeing any animals, fair enough. Yes some of the property is showing its age but we enjoyed the still elegant marble lobby, etc. and the rooms are still comfortable and just fine. We had a great meal at a family run pizza place around the corner (Pizzaria Il Porto). Perfect location for catching/returning on the ferry.

Great short stay because of the location, for a 3* hotel it was great value for money. It is a family-run business and it still has the Greek hospitality old time feeling. Check-in was quick and smooth, reception lady was very kind. Our room was basic but very clean and smelled nice. Bed sheets were soft and bedding great for a night sleep. Room even had toiletries and bottle of water. Breakfast was basic but nothing was missing, everything you need - eggs, toast, cheeses, cold cuts, veggies, fruits, yoghurt, spoon sweets. Definitely best choice if you arrive late and need to catch ferry next morning.

The room we stayed in was nice and clean with sea view as the hotel was just across the harbour. Free parking. The receptionist was pleasant and helpful.

The room we booked was with breakfast. We had to catch the ferry and leave 15min earlier than their breakfast time. We asked if we could have something packed since staff were on premisses preparing the breakfast anyway. Unfortunately, this was not an option, we were told. Would only recommend for stay if you want to cross with the ferry early hours in the morning.

Glarentza is a family-run hotel, which I have visited quite a number of times since I have business in the area. Rooms are good, but a triple will be a bit of a squeeze. Since my earlier visit, I have discovered there is good parking behind the block, so I take back my remark on the parking issue which I posted in a previous review.

Breakfast starts a bit late in the day, which is a bit of a bummer if you need an early start.

The hotel was large and very comfortable with a substantial buffet breakfast with extended times between 7:30am till 11:00am. The room was very comfortable and so was the bathroom. The owner was very nice and helpful plus its a very pet friendly hotel for those traveling with fur babies and its located just a few min walk from the port where the ferries go to Zakinthos and Kefalonia multiple times daily. Plus its got quite a few parking spaces on site in the back of the hotel.

Hotel is conveniently located in a quiet area close to the Kyllini ferries. Breakfast is good, with a good mix of continental and Greek fare. A family-run business, they take pride in running their hotel.

Room is big enough, but if you ask for a triple room it's going to get cramped. Breakfast starts a bit late if you want to go for an early start.

Location for catching the ferry ⛴️ is unbeatable it opposite the entrance to the port but you don't get any traffic noise. The room are first class, but the disabled bathroom is the best I've ever had in any hotel across Europe. Breakfast was superb

Nothing but disappointed the restaurant wasn't open.

Hotel was excellent and beyond met our expectations! We stayed to be close to the ferry and location was perfect. Hotel room was simple but exactly what we needed, beds were super comfortable and bathrooms were exceptionally clean! We did not have breakfast at the hotel so overall, it was an excellent experience!

Parking lot was very small but the manager was excellent and very accommodating and came outside to help us find parking upon arrival.

The location (being close to the ferry) is great. It’s just a 5 minute walk. Very welcoming and breakfast was included.

It is close to the ferry terminal but that means ALL the ferry traffic passes by. Lots of trucks! The double glazing was a huge help.

It was a family run, comfortable, friendly and helpful place. The air conditioning (very important for us) was very good. It was very close to the port and nice beach and would recommend it. Breakfast had a lot of choice.

Could be noisy when ferry traffic is passing.
