The pool was open to the general public and you had to pay for the Sun beds on the beach.

We had a lovely weekend at Rhodes and this was definitely in part due to our stay at the Grande Albergo delle Rose. The location, ambiance and staff were absolutely top class!! A beautifully maintained historic hotel, it is strategically located at the tip of the island, it was a short walk from the historic old town and harbour. Breakfast was incredibly generous and the food on the whole was delicious, although we would've loved to have the opportunity to also taste a few greek dishes on the international menu. The hotel also laid out a nice spread of fruit, cookies, cakes, tea and coffee for guests every night till breakfast time which was a nice touch. The beach is very accessible from the property and has a nice sense of privacy and seclusion, although in early spring it was too cold to swim. The hotel also has a casino with separate access and a spa. We cannot compliment the staff enough for their professional yet extremely kind, warm and friendly demeanour - everyone right from reception to housekeeping, butlers and restaurant staff really made you feel welcome. Highly recommended if you are interested in the history and culture of the island and want to have a unique and memorable experience!

A beautiful hotel in a great location, lovely big room, fantastic breakfast and staff that went above and beyond to make our stay happy and comfortable.

There isn’t really anything that we didn’t like. If I was looking for something to suggest as an improvement then I would say that access to the hotel bar isn’t very intuitive as you have to go through the casino which wasn’t particularly convenient for us as our room directly overlooked it. And although there’s a really lovely dining room which we are breakfast in, this wasn’t open for any other meals. There isn’t a restaurant inside the hotel, though they have one just outside the hotel gate at their beach club. The quality and service were brilliant…

I stayed with my daughter at Grande Albergo in July and we had a truly amazing experience. The hotel has the elegance of the good old days, the breakfast room is abolutely spectacular and the room very confortable. It felt a bit like travelling in time to some glamorous era. Location is perfect to reach the city center and we enjoyed very much the pool area. But what greatly enhances the value of the hotel is the STAFF, a bit thank you to everyone, starting with the ladies at the reception (Ms Nectaria and Ms Emilia), the breakfast personnel and the pool lifeguard, Mr. Pietros. Their level of professionalism, hospitality and kindness exceeded our expectations. We will defitely return.

Location!! Location right on the beach side! A short walk to lovely restaurants, shops, the port, old town and new town! And only 30 mins to the airport! Comfortable beds, small bathroom with bath and shower over bath with traditional Greek olive toiletries. Great pool area with comfortable loungers and excellent life guard who provided towels and helped with the parasols, he’s there til 6 pm daily, great music at the pool too! Emily [I hope I got her name right) at reception in the afternoon is a credit to the hotel so friendly and helpful. Delicious and varied breakfasts I opted for pancakes twice though they weren’t on the menu it wasn’t a problem to provide them. Nice beach bar/restaurant too.

Unfortunately You had to register with the casino to enter the rooftop cocktail bar, weee we enjoyed the lovely view over the pool and beach area.

Location is amazing! In the northern tip of the island, just a 10 minute walk into Rhodes Town. The staff was friendly, helpful and, always ready to assist! Breakfast was fantastic and plenty! Our favorite part of the hotel was the Grand View cocktail bar overlooking the pool and beach! Stamaris, the mixologist, and Georgina, our server, were so friendly. We looked forward to meeting them each evening! The cocktails were amazing, too! Overall TEN!

The beach is separate from the hotel, therefore, an extra Charge for the sunbeds. However, the pool was free and the staff and lifeguard were great!

Loved the grandness of the hotel. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room and bathroom were spotless. The location is amazing - close to walk to many places and also the beach is well located for the wind (sea was very smooth and nice to swim in while around the corner it was very windy).

Have had better breakfasts. Took long for food to arrive and was quite chaotic. Only one person was taking orders so it took quite a while at busy times. The hotel is missing little touches which could make it into an amazing experience.

The breakfast was a highlight of our mornings, with fresh, local ingredients and a variety of delicious options to suit every taste. The staff went above and beyond to ensure our experience was flawless, always available with helpful tips and recommendations to make our trip even more memorable. What really stood out was the genuine warmth and attention to detail throughout our stay. It’s rare to find a place that combines such charm, comfort, and exceptional service, but Albergo delle Rose does it effortlessly. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience in Rhodes and are already looking forward to our next visit. Highly recommended to anyone seeking a truly special stay!

This is a fine older hotel Everything cried out 1930-40 would have been the place to go In my mind it still holds that feeling. Ceiling are tall, Crown moulding. Just beautiful rooms. There is a casino attached if you like them I did Pool out back a nice place to be quiet. There is a beach bar on the sand But chairs are rented not included they are at the pool I really enjoyed my stay here nice way to top off a month long journey, always try to go to best hotel last night we spent 3 . The breakfst at first looks rather plain for the Venue. Then they arrive, after you have had a look and topped up with a conthinental breakfast plate, with a full menu from the kitchen. Special omlette is amazing like a pizza for breakfeast without the crust Just delicious For sure will return.

Everything is fine not a problem at all. If there was one thing I would have corrected was the elevator saying Restaurants and goes to the spa. A nice bronze correction plate, I dont think, would bother the integrity of the building. But that is the only thing and that is so petty not a complaint at all

Location was great. We love queen suit. Breakfqst has lots of options and it was delicious. Sea view of the hotel was amazing. Friendly stuff.

The beach infront of the hotel was not free for the customers. It should be at least half price. We also went almar spa. Helios full body massage was good. It is another company I guess. The massage was good however the massage roon was really not good. It was inside the fitness room and not quite good ambiance. Using candles was not enough to make the place confortable and make us relief. The ambiance was poor. It didnt suits these kind of 5 star casino hotel
