We stayed in 2 rooms, the top floor studio with sea view and a 2 bedroom apartment (6 of us in total). Considering some bad reviews we had read, and that this is budget accommodation, it far exceeded our expectations. The location was beautiful, with exceptional views across the old port. The huge balcony of the top floor studio made our stay all the more comfortable with lovely sun loungers and lots of space for relaxing with friends and family. Both apartments were well equipped and had really good self catering kitchen facilities and excellent air conditioning. A special mention has to go to Dafne who looks after the accommodation and kept everything so clean and was such a lovely person; always on hand to help. Any issues we had were quickly resolved by staff based at the sister hotel, Akti. Check in and out couldn't have been easier and correspondence from the time of booking was exceptional.

Location is up lots of steps which was fine for us but would not suit those with mobility issues. It is in a lively area so there is some noise but once the doors are shut we could hardly hear this and it did not disturb us at all.

Location was great. The water taxis are close by to reach the beaches. A special mention for Maria the cleaner. What a character and a great lady. Nothing was too much trouble for her. We had a little issue with the aircon and within 1 hour Alex from the office was on it and had it all sorted. The staff for Argo pensions where efficient. Thank you.

In the room we had no sink in the kitchen area. Room 21. We had to use a tiny sink in the bathroom. Wasn’t ideal for self catering. The steps to get to Argo Pension can be challenging when you have overpacked and lugging 2 big suitcases up & down step steps in crazy heat.

The room with terrace was fantastic. Having our own private terrace made our stay incredible. Beautiful views, a lovely sun trap with shade and comfortable furniture. (Even more stunning views if you wake up early for the sunrise) A stones throw from the old port, the walk is up quite a few steps but means you get the best views. Room was spotless and bedding/towels were always replaced. We were even given extra pillows for our comfort. Will 100% be back.

Staff in Argo were fantastic and incredibly helpful. They went out of their way to help us. Apartment had a wonderful view of the old port and extremely central.

As mentioned in other feedback, the old port is noisy at night BUT nothing a pair of silicon ear plugs can't fix and the calm and silence sitting on the balcony with only the swifts chattering in the morning more than made up for it.

It was fantastic!! Location was exceptional, which was the most important thing for us. The lovely cleaner, who helped me and my friends keep the apartment tidy, made us feel welcomed and was always happy and friendly. The staff helped us right away if we were in need of something in the apartment!

Only downside was the steps to property if you have mobility issues, however the staff helped manage luggage from town so this will make it easier

First of all, I would like to praise the amazing staff of Argo Pension. Although their office was not situated in the same building, they always had staff near to help with anything we needed. When we arrived at their office to acquire the keys, the staff offered to bring our heavy luggage to our rooms which was very much appreciated. We called up the office on the day we were leaving to ask if they could take our luggage again and they delivered it to the office right away and stored them there until we had to leave for the airport. The office is also situated in "Port" which is where many buses and taxis stop which makes it easy to get to the airport. Taxis are 10 EUR to and from the airport. BONUS - Don't leave Skiathos without visiting Lalaria which is only accessible by boat!

The beds are a little outdated and could be upgraded. We also felt as though the room sometimes wasn't completely clean. While showering, the water easily got on the floor and could cause a small mess sometimes.

Altogether pleased with our stay. We stayed in the top floor balcony studio, and the terrace was great. The view was exceptional and made our stay very special. The beach and the ports were close, 5-10m walk with plenty of restaurants around. Small fridge and stove with some pans, plates and cutleries available, also there was an iron. The housekeeping lady was very nice and we loved her a lot. All in all would stay here again.

During the night the music outside was loud and we had to use earplugs, but we read and knew about this when reserved and I assume the whole neighborhood has this problem. Still wish the soundproofing was a little bit improved. The bathroom window couldn't be closed (or at least we couldn't figure it out), which felt a bit uncomfortable. No oil, sugar or any other basic kitchen ingredients available, and we didn't want to buy full bottles of everything. Lights were a little bit dull.

Location is perfect. It’s near to the old Port or to the beach. Staff was really nice. I highly recommend.

Walls are really thin so you can hear everything.

We had a wonderful stay at Argo Pension in Skiathos. I was there with my boyfriend, and we truly enjoyed our holiday thanks to the helpful staff who advised us on local activities and even booked a taxi for our return to the airport. If you choose to stay at Argo Pension, you’ll also get to meet Daphne, the lovely cleaning lady, who was absolutely adorable with us. She kindly recommended some great spots to visit as well.
