This was our second year staying at this hotel. We find it is in the perfect location for a stay in Skiathos, and the views from the balcony and breakfast area are amazing. We find the room and beds very comfy. I noticed a lot of the reviews say the bathroom is small, and that is true, but I have never found it to be dirty at all. It is very clean, but because there are beautiful vintage fixtures and fittings there is a little wear and tear which is to be expected. We actually see that as a positive because it is rare to find a hotel with such lovely traditional features. And the staff are very nice. Our room was always spotlessly cleaned.

The hotel is in a great location. Two minutes walk to the harbour and the centre of Skiathos and at the same time within 5 minutes to the nearest beach. The stairs are not at all as challenging as some comments claim. Breakfast is in an open room with fabulous views. Same for the room itself. We were allowed to check-in to our room a few hours earlier.

The room and bathroom equipment is generally older. The air conditioning control was complicated; the remote control sometimes worked, sometimes not. Breakfast was rather modest. But the quality/price ratio corresponds to it.

Traditional Greek decor, beautiful balcony and view of harbour and sea. Closeness to the town and local tavernas. Local ferrys , taxis and busses easily accessible. Gorgeous terrace where breakfast is served and evening meals are available. A trivial problem with the accommodation was sorted without any drama.

This is a small hotel. Very basic. However, it was just what we were looking for. Very well priced. Stunning views from room and restaurant. Owner, so friendly.

It's not the hotels fault, but the steps up going towards the hotel are not for anyone who could struggle. We got faster climbing them in the end, but it did cause issues with my bad knee. This would not stop me from going there again

The view from my room was wonderful. The balcony was great and the room was comfy. I loved the breakfast in the morning and the restaurant. All the staff were so great and friendly. The older man who seems to run the place was lovely and seemed to really care about his guests. I felt very welcomed.

The air conditioner in my room didn’t work very well so it was very hot all the time. Other than that, the place was great!

We absolutely adored this beautiful and traditional hotel. The location is perfect, the views from our room (with a balcony going around) were amazing, especially at sunset. All of the furniture and fittings were so pretty, the air con worked well and we had everything we needed. Breakfast was really nice and served in a beautiful green terrace overlooking the sea. The staff were very helpful. Would definitely stay here again if we come back to Skiathos.

superb view from the balcony and the bar/breakfast room. Dimitrios, the hotel manager was very friendly and helpful. The outside bar area was very pretty and relaxing to watch the sun go down. The greek buffet breakfast was very enjoyable.

Unfortunately due to the location, taxis cannot drive to the hotel, resulting in a climb up approximately 30-40 stone steps carrying suitcases to reach the entrance.

The location is spectacular, we had last floor facing the sea and it was like a dream the balcony view. Also the small private beach is stunning and you feel that you can enjoy everything in silence and without any crowds. The breakfast was lovely and its location was stunning too!

Everything was very good, the only little mention is that the bathroom shower is quite small and I was keep bumping into the walls and marble trying not to flood the floor. But this is nothing compared with the full experience that is a 10 out of 10 for me and my friend.

The view of the Bourtzi and the surrounding sea views were incredible and extremely pleasant. The location to town and the harbour is fantastic & very close, giving easy access to many wonderful tavernas, bars, shops and restaurants. The breakfast room has one of the most beautiful outlooks in Skiathos. Breakfast was satisfying with a choice of thick, creamy, greek yoghurt, fresh fruit, honey, bread rolls, cheeses, ham, salami, fresh tomatoes & cucumber, freshly baked spinach & cheese pastries, homemade cakes, croissants etc, orange juice, water, tea & coffee.

This is a very typical, old fashioned, Greek Hotel with nothing to dislike if this is what you expect. The shower room did tend to flood and not drain away but this wasn't a problem to us.

Location was perfect for the centre of Skiathos, views were fabulous for breakfast on the terrace,the rooms with the balconies had out of this world views, the staff are very friendly and helpful, Dimitrius the owner was lovely ☺️

Lots of steps up and down to the centre of Skiathos, need to be quite fit especially when its hot, but wouldn’t put me off going again.
