The location was amazing. Really within short walking distance from everything in city center, yet easily accessible by car. The small indoor pool was a highlight for the kids (it is VERY small, but warm and nice) The parking services was very convenient as well. And the staff were helpful and friendly.
For a 5 star hotel, the water pressure (hose) in the bathroom was subpar.

We had a wonderful stay at this charming hotel, just a short walk from the main square in Thessaloniki. From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed with great attention to detail. The rooms were both stylish and incredibly comfortable with a perfect blend of antique charm and modern comfort. As a family with a young child, we truly appreciated the thoughtful touches. While it’s not specifically a children’s hotel, our son was delighted by the little surprises prepared for him: a tiny bathrobe, slippers, and his own set of bath amenities. The welcome treats in the room were also a lovely touch. Breakfast was fantastic, with plenty of delicious options, and the staff was just as wonderful. A special thank you to Georgia for her kindness and care. We would love to return!

It was easy to find the hotel. One of the good things is that the hotel has its own driveway, so in the busy Thessaloniki traffic, you don't have to worry if you are blocking someone while getting your bags. There is a garage in the hotel, parking places might be bigger, but still, parking was one less thing to worry about. The next two things are for sure dependent on the availability, but still, we did appreciate the gesture. We were allowed to check in earlier than the policy dictates, and we got upgraded. Really nice thing to see. We were also welcomed with a bottle of wine and some brownies. All the staff was really professional and polite. Hotel is a 5 star hotel, at least based on what we saw. We did not check the pool or spa. Maybe next time. Hotel is located close to many things one would like to see in Thessaloniki, although some of the views from the hotel might not be as attractive. Also, the breakfast was nice. For sure, next time I am in Thessaloniki, this will be my first choice.

Breakfast was wonderful, and I appreciated the variety in the buffet options. The welcome drink/snack sent to the room upon check-in was a lovely surprise. The decor was stunning, the reception was kind and accommodating. The room was the perfect mix of classical decor with a modern comforts for the bathroom. I really loved the upgrade to a room with a balcony and sea view. WiFi worked well too! Everyone was so kind… Best hotel experience in many years
Only thing that could be better would have been more control of the AC in the room - it was set to a firm 22 degrees Celsius.

Dinner was amazing, personnel very professional and polite. overall only people keep this hotel going.
The rooms and furniture are old and uncomfortable, especially mattresses. During the night on Fridays and Saturdays there was a loud music up till 3 a.m, which were not aware of before we booked it. The pool is very small, more of the size of bathroom. The breakfast was the same throughout 6 days, but was tasty.

Amazing property. Probably one of the kindest staff ive ever encountered. Super helpfull eager to help. From bell boys to front desk to breakfast crew. Also best breakfast by far in thesalonikis hotels. Overall amazing experience with nice facilities and good rooms. The staff helped me book a table for dinner outside without hesitation and even the first options were full he suggested alternative and booked it and the place was great. Would recommend to all travelers.
I am deducting a single point only because i booked this hotel expecting a valet service which ive received in the past. This time the parking was full in fromt of the hotel and i had to to external parking which was super crowded and i had to park all the way to 7 th floor and my car is expensive so i was hoping to have it safe in front of the hotel. Maybe i should communicate next time for them to keep a spot. And there some cars that were quite older in front of of the hotel. I would recommend giving priority to newer cars or giving the option to the guest to book their parking spot in advance together with the reservation.

I was very pleased with my stay at the Hotel Mediterranean Palace. From the moment I arrived, I was greeted by the warm and welcoming staff, whose professionalism and attentiveness truly elevated the experience. They went above and beyond to ensure that every need was met. The breakfast was a highlight of our visit. Every dish was thoughtfully prepared, offering a wide variety to suit all tastes. The coffee was particularly delightful. The indoor pool, designed like a serene lagoon, added a touch of tranquility to the hotel. Though a bit small, it was beautifully maintained and included a jacuzzi for ultimate relaxation—a lovely spot to unwind after a day of exploring. The rooms were impeccably clean, and the thoughtful details stood out. They provided not only bathrobes and slippers for adults but also for children, along with special dental and bath kits tailored to younger guests. These extra touches made the stay feel even more luxurious and family-friendly. Mediterranean Palace is truly a masterpiece of hospitality, combining elegance with thoughtful amenities. It is also conveniently located just a short distance from the city center. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone seeking a five-star experience with a personal touch. I cannot wait to return! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
There was nothing I didn’t like about my stay. Everything exceeded my expectations!

Efficient, helpful and friendly staff. Superb hotel facilities. Lovely room. An excellent breakfast with so many choices. Piano player in foyer which was well appointed.
Although I cannot fault the hotel, it’s probably not the best place for a tourist. It’s more geared for corporates, business people, conferences and functions. It’s slightly set back from the promenade facing west making it a little hot and stuffy in the afternoon. No leisure chair in the bedroom. Just uprights.

We love the location of the hotel and the fact that it has an underground garage at the same building, so no need to go to some public garage a few blocks away. Also, the breakfast is better than it used to be, really a lot of choice and everything is fresh and at a five star level. The staff is very friendly, and the hotel facilities are all working, which is not always the case in Thessaloniki. We remember that the hotel was good when we first stayed there some 15 years ago, and we can confirm that it is getting better, it is being timely refurbished and handled properly, so thumbs up for Mediterranean Palace.
Nothing.

Excellent room designed in an 'old' 'nostalgic' style, very spacious and at the same time will all contemporary utilities of a modern bathroom etc. Excellent restaurant in a modern style seamlessly blending with the old style of the lobby. Great food both as taste and presentation. Parking garage on site is invaluable for Thessaloniki combined with an excellent walking distance location from the famous sea front promenade, bars, restaurants and the main city square and a short taxi drive away from the White Tower and the Archeology Museum. Most likely the best hotel in Thessaloniki.
Aircon stops working when guests are out of rooms. In hot weather this may not be ideal and may be cooling while absent should somehow be enabled.
