Clean, comfortable bed, good location, friendly stuff, each day room was cleaned, towels changed. There is not only AC but also window to be opened with fresh air. I liked that. Many lights, sockets close to bed, small bed stands for things. The room was was exactly like on photos. We had a good stay. :)

Small details, because i have nothing to complain about. There was no water, fridge was empty. All water from shower went All over the bathroom as there was no proper security for the running water. I don't know why my door opened during the night despite the fact i closed them and checked before going to bed. I am 100%sure as I always do that. I woke up in the middle of the night with wide open door and one night was scared to sleep.

I've stayed several times in this hotel, and I'm glad to report that it continues to live up to the high standards it has established. Centrally located, safe and clean, and boasting an extremely kind and helpful staff. Highly recommended!

The only downside of this stay was the annoying presence of certain, possibly drunk, residents, who were shouting in the early hours of just one morning, after 3am. My verbal intervention (and some mild cursing) redirected them into the realm of decency and -fortunately- a state of sleep.

This is a beautiful, very classy 100 year old hotel, thoroughly renovated but keeping the old style charm. It is located very close to the incredible new Venizelos subway station/museum. Big comfortable rooms and nice staff. A special mention goes to the lady taking care of the breakfast area. She was extremely helpful and polite.

The only negatives stem from the hotel age. You have to take the stairs to the elevator which is very small and fit for only one person with luggage. This is why my rating is an 8 instead of a 9. However the staff will help you with carrying the luggage up the stairs. Just be prepared to climb stairs.

The best costumer service in a hotel we ever experienced! I couldn’t recommend them more!! I had a request for a make up artist to come and do my make up in the room for a wedding. I mentioned this months before travelling and they remembered it when we arrived and were very courteous with her. All staff were very friendly (both morning and night staff) and willing to help. Bonus points for the free coffee, biscuits and tea at the reception :) There’s a mini fridge in the room too! And they give bars of soap for showers which I always prefer over liquid body wash, dental kit, sewing kit and etc. Very close to public transport, including a stop for the express bus into the airport. There’s a 24 hours shop selling food and drinks just by the corner of the hotel too. Area seems safe to walk at all times and very lively (there’s always people around) without being noisy.

The only bad thing is that the shower is only surrounded by a curtain which doesn’t do a good job of keeping the water in when showering, so the bathroom does flood. I think a squidgy brush in the room would help so we can use it afterwards and brushing the water into the bathroom drain. Small note, it wasn’t an issue for us: lift is small so one person at the time only, but it’s a small hotel that goes up to 3 floors only, so lift comes back and goes up quite quickly, it’s easy to wait for it.

Nice staff, comfortable bed, good AC, clean, hairdryer, supply of toilet paper, towels(although only two and for women it is not enough), good location, socket next to the bed. The room was ready in the morning, although I left my bags with the staff anyway. They keep it under control.

I don't like the polyester curtains in the shower, bathroom is quite small and there is no shelf under shower for cosmetics. Water always floods the floor. Hotel is nice but the shower and plastic shower head and cable, curtain destroy the look. The room is really small so not much place to keep luggages. Also not much space to dry your things in case you wash it after the beach etc.

The room was clean and neat offering all necessary toiletries. It was equipped with a small fridge and a hair dryer. The staff was kind and helpful. The hotel is centrally located with all sightseeing spots within walking distance. As a whole, good value for money.

I booked a single room, which was kind of small. I couldn't sleep with the window open, as there was noise coming from the street. There was no problem with the window closed though. Decoration was outdated. There was no coffee machine in the room.

There is nothing that I did not like but such a suggestion I think it will be good idea to keep some bottles of water in the room

Wonderfully located near trendy eat spots and minutes from where you can embark on day tours or visit the ruins of the past, Nea Metropolis is just the kind of place that you want to stay in. Roomy, high ceilings and reflecting an old-world charm.

Thessaloniki feels like a city that rarely sleeps, and at times the antics of revellers will filter into your hotel room, but this is also a by-product of staying at an address that is in demand by locals and foreigners alike.

The hotel was a pleasant surprise, located close to the city center and the port, with spacious and beautifully furnished rooms, super comfortable beds, daily cleaning, and all the comforts you need. The staff was very friendly and eager to help with anything you need. We had a wonderful time and I highly recommend staying here!

The bathroom was very small, but it was a minor inconvenience that didn’t take away from the enjoyment of our stay.
