Very friendly staff. Room was ok. Location was perfect. many things in walking distance. restaurants around the place. AND best ever breakfast…. not just a simple boring Buffet, which you can find always and everywhere… BUT here, they serve you special. you can choose out of a big menu…. serving at the table … and you can order and order…really big… they want to make you fat😂😂 all in all… good for this city. would come again

Fine location, close to center, metro and small shops; very clean and comfy rooms; breakfast good with tasty choice of local food and great coffee, but slow serving if you are in a rush to catch a morning appointment.

It was stated the property worked 24/7, but didn t which made us wait to store our luggage till someone arrived in the morning.

Everything! Beautiful rooms - plenty of space. Super comfy beds. The hotel is in a great part of town - close to so many great bars, tavernas, Ladadika, Kapani Markets and so much more. Fantastic breakfast with the best coffee. An added bonus was secure parking very close by. The staff were exceptional with special mention to Garifalia, who made our whole experience even more amazing. Room 106 Hotel is well located, about a 15 minute walk from the waterfront. The ground floor is manned until 11pm, and this is where their cafe is located and breakfast is served. Staff were fantastic. Breakfast was good - it was freshly made and local products. Room was very clean. Nice that shower and toilet were separate, so the bathroom was really good. Fridge enabled us to keep drinks cold. Really good curtains which blacked out the light from out side

There were only 4 cloth hangers which was a bit limited. Limited storage for clothing - this wasn't an issue as we could leave suitcase on the additional sofa bed area. Not the hotels fault, but we did get bitten a lot at night by mosquitos but on the windows it did have netting and large curtains.

The rooms are in an older house which has been converted to a high standard. The room size was good and in particular the bathroom was excellent. There could perhaps be more storage space for clothes, especially if you planned on staying for an extended period of time, but for our stay it was perfectly adequate. The beds are very comfortable and the aircon is quiet. Hotel staff are welcoming and helpful.

Everything was perfect, even more value for money! The breakfast was very tasty, you could order from a menu, but as much as you like from everything. Then in the afternoon I had to do some work in the lobby and they gave me a complimentary coffee with water and some pastries, which was simply lovely. The room was super clean, properly air conditioned, the shower was super spacious and the water had the perfect pressure. We had the most amazing rest there and it is super central, so it was very convenient for us. Parking worked super easy as well for only 14€ per day.

There was not a single thing we did not like!

Our room was bigger than expected and felt luxurious, with a comfortable bed. Code for room entry, no key or card Interesting breakfast, in that there were 3 set menu options rather than the generic 'continental buffet' seen elsewhere. Included a lot though and it was tasty and filling, and you could customise it if required.

Only a couple of minor niggles: One of the two lightbulbs in the shower unit needed replacing It would have been nice to be able to control the mood lamp from the bed rather than needing to go over to the wall to turn it off, there was a switch by the bed but it was only for the bright overhead light Sometimes they'd forget bits of the breakfast menu and we needed to ask, but were always happy to help

Excellent location for Thessaloniki. We highly recommend it. There was one thing we didn’t quite understand, but since it was only for one night, we didn’t pay much attention to it. Last year, we also stayed here and received a free room upgrade through Booking, which gave us a huge room. This year, with the same upgrade, we got a room half the size of the previous one, and the reception told us it was the same room type. We let it go—we consider them trustworthy people, we enjoyed our stay, and we don’t believe they would fail to honor Booking’s conditions. We highly recommend this place and would gladly return.

I was very impressed with this hotel. It had been refurbished in a modern style whilst retaining the historical integrity of the building. My room was bright and spacious with an amazingly comfortable bed. Crisp white cotton bedding and monogrammed towels added to the feeling of luxury. The breakfast room was bright and modern with unique fixtures and fittings. There was a wide selection of options for breakfast, which were presented in a unique and stylish way. The staff were very welcoming and friendly. By the end of my second stay (I loved it so much I stayed a second time) it felt like home from home. The location of the Maroon Bootle is a perfect base from which to explore Thessaloniki as most key sites in the city were within walking distance. This is definitely my hotel of choice next time I'm in Thessaloniki.

Our stay was perfect. The apartment corresponded to typical boutique-hotel, but very nicely decorated. I appreciated te fact that there were windows on all sides, so you could let the air flow. AC everywhere, much needed, since we had 38 degrees during the day. The room and the entire hotel is situated on a very quiet street, nonetheless neighbouring streets offered great places to have dinner & drinks. The breakfast was perfect with the right amount of variety. Can't wait to return to Saloniki, I will definitely book this hotel again.
