The room was clean, small - but what was in the descriprion. It was warm as there is an AC. Small but good terrace. The instructions were clear. We had an issue with some of the lights - the staff was very friendly and helped us quickly. The hotel is about 15 min by foot from the centre, there is a metro station nearby.

A little noisy because it is close to a big boulevard. The region is full of old and unfinished buildings and there are some suspicious people living in them so we didnt feel very comfortable when we arrived in the evening. The check-out was at 11:00 but the cleaning lady was there 15 min before that and we were surprised when we went to pick up our luggage after breakfast.

Very modern design of the room, everything is as in the picture. The room for two is quite large, so it was comfortable. There is everything you need - ironing board, iron, air conditioning, hair dryer, etc. Location is also great, close to port and city center (15 min).

The lack of any staff at the hotel meant that there was no one to solve the problem when at 2am someone from the street started calling all the rooms to let him in. This went on for an hour, which did not allow me to get enough sleep. This is probably a one-off situation, but if you as a guest hope that someone from the hotel staff will be there to help you, this will not happen. Although I will note that the support team answered all my questions online during business hours. Also in our room the light bulb in the toilet didn't work.

I would rate this place as exceptional. Rooms very comfortable; very clean. Location a 5 minute walk to train station and local busses. Shops everywhere. Bus to airport can be picked up at train station. Everything quite modern. Price was right. Great communication with off-site managers.

Of course no one is actually at the site. I had a bit of a problem getting in as there are actually two key boxes (apparently one for parking). There is a sign directly over the door with the parking key box saying Urban Elephant. The proper key box is on the (other) door to left; and of course, both key boxes accept 4 numbers. Oh well 🤭

Both the room and bathroom were spacious, adequately decorated and comfortable. The location was quiet and just a short walk to the seafront and shops and restaurants. The price was great value for money.

As the site is not physically manned, initially getting access was a bit of a problem as, instead of sending us check-in instructions via the booking app or by text, they sent them by email, which we missed as we don't check emails while on holiday and secondly the emails went to the junk folder. However, once we managed to telephone the central office number, they gave us instructions verbally and the problem was resolved quickly. The Reception area was a bit smelly, the free water fountain was empty and not re-filled and the vending machine was a bit problematical.

This is the place I always book when coming to Thessaloniki. It’s right next to the city but far enough away to the silence of the night, close enough to walk to the Marine. Always reachable both on b.com, WhatsApp or by calling - fast replies. If you need to wash your clothes, you can! Getting a balcony is a must in the summer! Worth the little amount extra and ask if it is possible to get one of the big ones ! 😍 if they have it available it has never been an issue!

Communication was very good, it's self check-in, we received the code in plenty of time before arrival. The internal design is great so the room felt very spacious. So did the bathroom with its beautiful and big shower. There were plenty of sockets, also next to the bed. The mattress is on the soft side, but it was fine for us. The coffee machine is great and there are capsules in the reception area if the ones in the room are not enough. There's a wending machine in the entrance for drinks snacks and small electric items forgotten at home. The place is best used with a car, although there is a bus station not very far. We stayed for 3 nights and we recommend this place.

Maybe a shade on the balcony would be nice.

My recent stay at the Urban Elephant Suites in Thessaloniki was a delightful experience, and I’m eager to share it with fellow travelers. One of the standout features of this property is its prime location. Situated right on the main road as you enter Thessaloniki, it’s a dream for those arriving from Macedonia - simply turn left, and you’re there. This easy access significantly reduced the hassle of navigating a new city. Upon arrival, I appreciated the modern, secure system for entry. Both the front and apartment doors operate with passcodes provided online by the manager. Although we initially faced a hiccup with our passcode, the responsive property manager promptly resolved the issue, which was a testament to their efficient service. The lobby area is a gem in itself. It’s equipped with amenities like a toilet, tables, a coffee machine, and even a snack vending machine. The decor is modern and minimalist, creating a clean and inviting atmosphere. As for the accommodation, the bed was notably comfortable, ensuring a good night’s sleep, and the luxury of constant hot water was a bonus. Parking was conveniently available right in front of the building, and we noticed plenty of additional parking spots around, especially behind the building where there’s a huge lot. Another aspect I loved about Urban Elephant Suites was its proximity to the city center. It’s just a 20-minute walk away, which is perfect for those who enjoy a stroll. This distance is ideal for escaping the chaotic traffic of the city center while still being close enough to enjoy its offerings. Walking along the main road to the city center is straightforward and feels safe, even late at night. The presence of other pedestrians and passing cars adds a sense of security. In summary, Urban Elephant Suites ticks all the boxes for a comfortable, convenient, and safe stay in Thessaloniki.

Location is good, easy to find. It is only 15 minutes walk to the centar. Easy check in, big bathroom, hot water, comfortable bed, good Wifi connection. There is a private parking, but it is not that hard to find parkig on the street close to hotel. We spend one night there and it is great option to spend couple nights. We recommend this place and visit to Thessaloniki!

Lobby had some funny smell, but nothing terrible. There is no one at the reception, but they answer your calls and messages on what's up, so that wasn't a big deal either. You won't have any issues here.

The apartment is modernly furnished, in a renovated block. The block has an elevator, laundry room and shared kitchenette (I didn't use them because I only stayed one night), access to the building and the room can be done anytime (PIN entry). The building is located approximately centrally, close to a mall and a street with all possible shops (approx. 10-15 min. on foot), the distance to the port and the waterfront for restaurants and bars is acceptable (30 min., approx. 2 km). I do not recommend traveling in the city with your own car. It's chaos and very crowded. The accommodation has 2-3 private parking spaces (10 euros/day). Because I left quite early the next day (5.30 AM), and the parking lot was locked (probably someone comes and closes/opens it), I found a place on the main street, before entering the hotel street.

The smell of sewage in the building hall.. Cleaning in the room done superficially. I found hairs on the floor, mold in the corners of the shower, some sanitary objects ware detached from the wall, toilet bowl cover detached and improperly cleaned.

The room is really nice. We had one at the top floor and the terrance was huge with a great view over the port. It is 20 min walking distance to Aristotle Square. Very close to the railway station where there is a stop for many bus lines. You have a coffee maker in the room, and other small things (they were not important to us, but maybe other travellers would appreciate -bottle opener, ironing stuff, extra towels). There are 2 ACs (I guess it is important in the summer). There is an elevator. There is a shared dining room and a clothes washing place downstairs (we did not use them). There is a vending machine inside the building for emergency items (phone chargers, water, etc.) We also booked a parking place in the private parking next to the building (you can find free parking places on the street also, but since the area is between the port and the railway station let's say that we recommend the private parking for the night -however, parking on the street may be ok just as well). There is a small market at one end of the street and a place for frappé (+small shopping items) at the other end.

There were some minor things that may need improvement (but it was not a major issue for us): the fridge could be a little bit better/bigger (the kitchen downstairs has the same small type of fridge -it is ok for 2-3 bottles), the toilet seat was not very stable (it was not enough time to be replaced, I suppose; however it could be used with a little care)
