We were here 3 days only and it was nice. The hotel is quite old, so rooms are quite old-fashioned but if you like this old-style luxury hotel vibe, it’s perfect for you. Rooms are really spacious and clean, noice cancellation is perfect, we never heard anything from other rooms or corridors. I don’t really get complaints about breakfast, as many people wrote here. On my opinion, breakfast was good, big variety of typical breakfast options and some local food and desserts as well, we enjoyed it a lot. I don’t know, if we were lucky or it’s always like this, but we’ve never met any families with kids, only sweet elderly couple, which was really nice.

If you book this hotel because of the pool, don’t expect a lot. The pool is clean and overall good, but the depth is only 0.9m, keep this in mind.

I have been visiting the hotel since 2004. I can't believe it will be almost 20 years. What makes a real difference with this hotel is its own people. Their "will-to-help". They care for you to feel comfortable. The other thing I like is the comfort of the rooms. They are big rooms with the right furniture. Unfortunately, most of the time, when you find hotels in the center of big cities, you will get hotels with small rooms. Holiday Inn in Thessaloniki is not like this. The rooms offer great comfort, just like the staff. The location is great. It is 20 minutes walk from the center of the center, with space to park around, and many car parking spaces which you will find at a rate of 8 to 10 euros per day. If you travel by car it is more than ideal location. Trust me you don't want to be in the centre of Thessaloniki with one. The hotel is close to the highways. They have a swimming pool and a restaurant with a great view of the sea on the top floor.

Good service, very nice and friendly staff, nice lobby, good location, the food at the restaurant was very good and the pool was small but lovely.

Not safe for small children. We stayed in a family room on the 8th floor, windows can fully open, no bars, no locks on windows and the sofa bed was placed right under the window just to make things a bit more dangerous!!! Also in the pool was a big dead cockroach beside the back wall, was very disturbing and disgusting.

The very helpful staff. The family room was spacious, the pool / bar and changing facilities on the 9th floor are great. Especially handy to have access to a shower and changing room after check out if you've got a late flight out. Help with bags to room, storage of bags for the day after checkout and assistance ordering a taxi for the airport. Extensive options for breakfast. Air-conditioning worked well.

Shower over bath. They did provide a slip mat which helped.

We liked the location of the hotel, about 15 minute walk into the main part of the city. Our room was at the back of the hotel, so it was quiet and we were able to sleep with the window open. There was a good choice at breakfast, although it was quite busy. The pool area was nice, and I think newly renovated.

Parking was a little difficult. Reception offered to drive our car to the car park, but as we had only just picked up a brand new car from the car hire company we were reluctant we agree to this. We were given a map, to the back of the hotel, but again when we got there they said the car park was full, and we could leave the car keys. We luckily found a space in the road, and left the car there. The pool looked very nice, but it was so shallow it was difficult to swim.

The breakfast was wonderful, especially the pastries which were very delicious. The rooms were spacious, the beds were comfortable, and the staff was very attentive and friendly. Everything needed in the room and bathroom was provided. Fruit and water were offered by room service as a welcome gesture. Sitting on the terrace was enjoyable. The location was also very good. You can walk to Aristotelous Square and the seaside.

The only downside was that there was a parking fee, even though it was a small amount. The pool on the terrace was not very large either. I will choose this hotel again.

This is not a 5 star hotel. The rooms need to be renovated (especially the bathroom) and it needs better sound isolation between the rooms. Also parking should to be free of charge for a 5 star hotel. Breakfast is very basic, needs improvement. And a little something that other hotels do - a small guesture for a ‘happy birthday’ of a guest it would be very appriciated.

Spacious clean rooms with facilities and excellent WiFi (both private and throughout the hotel). Good location with paid parking (although limited spaces). Walking distance to the famous Ladadika and within 15-20’ walk to the Aristotelous square. Very friendly and helpful staff. Next to the metro station (will open in 2024).

The rooms were too warm and there was no way to control the temperature unless you open a window. Renovated rooms with cramped bathrooms; the flushing system of the toilet was similar to the one found in ships. Soundproofing was a minor issue; look for inner rooms. The breakfast was tasty but the same (limited for a five star hotel) variety every day.

The strong point of this hotel is without any doubt its staff. Without any exception they are all genuinely friendly, interested in their clients' wellbeing and eager to provide a pleasant stay. Common areas appear to have been recently refurbished. Rooftop pool, bar and restaurant are a plus, even on the warmer days in winter. Rooms are clean and quite comfortable. There is room for improvement, but I had a very pleasant stay and would not hesitate to return.

There is a stark contrast between the common areas of the hotel, which are top notch and of 5 star quality, and the rooms, which appear to be slightly outdated (more like 3,5 stars). I would recommend the hotel management to invest in the gradual refurbishment of the rooms. Also, in the description of the rooms on this platform, it seems that every room has a balcony, which is not the case (only rooms in the front have a balcony). My room was in the back, with a tiny window and a view to a parking lot and delapidated buildings. Rooms in the front however are on the side of a very busy road. In my honest opinion, the hotel should offer the possibility to choose between the 2 room types on the booking platforms.

I liked the location that was 10 min away from the center. The staff was professional and the rooms were clean. I like that this is one of the hotels that had great bathroom.

That is was not available parking lot and it was not available to reserve in advance the parking lot. I believe that this would be a great benefit for clients, if it is possible to reserve the parking lot (even if it is paid).
