The garden was an absolutely beautiful and the roof top terrace was so peaceful, with gorgeous plants and a great view over the city and surrounding volcanoes.

I booked a transfer with a fixed cost for up to 3 passengers. I helped put a couple of young lads who needed a ride to the same place. The hotel tried to charge me for the extra passengers afterwards (although the driver said nothing), stating they had been dropped at a different hotel - which wasn’t true as we all got out together. A shame as everything else was great! The only other thing is that the lights should be turned off between say 1 and 5am - they shine right into my room.

The location is excellent and with the courtyard layout, it was the first time in two months while traveling in Colombia and Guatemala that we were not waking to roosters and dogs barking. The grounds are stunning, beautiful eating area in the courtyard. The rooftop patio is also superb, sunsets or sunbathing it was perfect.

Unfortunately, our room (#4) was under the staircase and next to the courtyard where groups would often meet. Luggage being hauled down the stairs was loud. The room was also quite small, making it difficult to navigate around our luggage.

I couldn’t operate the tv, but that may have been user error. I was able to book travel to Panachel but was not told that the trip would require picking up 12 other people and this took about two hours of driving in Antigua before even leaving the hotel. While I understand the hotel could not control this, they should be more forthcoming about the timing and what to expect. Additional travel options to Panachel would have been helpful considering how popular this transportation is

Great location that's close to a ton of restaurants and shops. Staff was helpful to arrange for expedited laundry services after an outing to Acatenango. The room didn't have AC but the fan was quite powerful. Hot showers were great - water pressure was awesome. Free coffee station, plus water available to refill your bottles for drinking. Loved the courtyard and the rooftop view!

Room was a little cramped, but otherwise shelves and space provided was adequate. If you leave the room you have to bring the key, or else you'll get locked out.

The plant filled courtyard is so beautiful! The beds had 4 pillows each, which felt very lovely and luxurious. It’s so convenient that there’s a kitchen and a refrigerator for guests to use. We really appreciated the coffee ready in the courtyard at 6:30AM. The staff courteously allowed us to securely store our luggage after checkout while we climbed Volcán Acatenango.

The air freshener or cleaning products left a very strong smell in the room, but we were able to solve it by opening the windows and running the fan while we went out to dinner.

The staff were warm and friendly, great location, second time we stayed. First time we have no negative comments. Good WiFi and area outside room to chill.

We stayed 2 nights, there needs to be more hooks to hang wet/damp towels. There was only 1 in the bathroom and being a family of 3 we found this challenging. The mattresses seemed quite old and springy in places.

Very clean and simple. Rooms dark which keeps them cool. Lovely outdoor area with tables and chairs in a garden.Lovely rooftop terrace. Coffee and hot water provided all day.

Towels very thin and only one supplied. No hot water in basin and no hot water for first night shower. Second night was slightly better with water luke warm. Noisy tour guests in garden till late and then up early (3am) who woke us up.

Wonderful place! The staff was incredibly kind and helpful. We were able to book a tour right from the hotel to Volcán de Pacaya which made things so easy and hassle free. The courtyard is gorgeous, the room had a fan, and the hotel is a very short walk to the city center. Great value for what you get and would definitely recommend this place if you go to Antigua - it has everything you need.

Walls were very thin - you could hear everyone right outside your door so sleeping in wasn’t a possibility at all. Beds were also not the most comfortable, but honestly just for a one night stay it’s pretty doable and standard for what you would find in Antigua anyway.

The accommodation is in the center of the town, close to everything. Nice garden with a lot of flowers and plants and a fountain, looks well. Coffee is always available. Big pro is the rooftop terrace with view to the volcano. Hot water in the bathroom is also an advantage.

Bed was very outdated, not comfy to sleep.

The staff were very accommodating and were very responsive. We also noticed that the tours/shuttle services had very competitive pricing compared to what we found on guatego or other websites.

The room is good value for money but it might get a bit hot during the summer. So that's something to keep in mind if booking during summer.
