Beautiful setting outside of town but with easy access to town and boats via tuk tuk. Peaceful, serene, lovely gardens with a wonderful view of volcanoes. Staff was friendly and helpful. Our apartment was spacious and very comfortable with a private terrace and garden. Kitchen was stocked sufficiently. Beds were comfortable. Plenty of hot water. Breakfast was delicious.

Wished they had dinner option at the hotel. We did take out delivery several nights, which worked well and did prepare a meal but it would be more convenient. Bathrooms and kitchen could use some updating.

Breakfast was great. Indoor or outdoor option. Service was excellent. The size of our cabin was perfect. 2 large bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, kitchen (we did not use), dinning area and living room with access to beautiful gardens, the pool and the lake's shore. BEAUTIFUL!!!! Easy access to Atitlan natural Reseve, nextdoor to Atitlan Hotel (incredibly beautiful, great food), short walk to Panajachel, beautiful views and sunsets.

The coffee at breakfast was not what I was expecting. Guatemala has delicious coffee and the hotel does not offer good coffee. Cabin floors were a little slippery (we had to be careful walking barefoot ) To get the showers water at the right temp was very tricky (either very hot or very cold)........showers were a little stressfull😅.

The premises are gorgeous and the architecture of the buildings is stunning. The pool was nice, everything was very clean. Lush gardens and stone paths make way to an open area with view of the lake and volcanoes. Plenty of seating and lounge chairs to relax on help to slow down the pace. The location is away from the busier vibe of the town of Panajachel, making this a real Get away place

Unless you came by rental car ( you must be very brave) …If you don’t rent a larger space with a kitchenette you have to either go into town first dinner, call in delivery( limited options) , or eat at the hotel next door which is very nice but also pricey. It’s possible to walk into town though, or hire a tuktuk as an option to go into town.

Amazing location with absolutely killer views. Surrounded by lush trees and flowers. Abundant birds and butterflies. Five minutes walk to the Nature Reserve (in one direction) and to a good restaurant (with the same amazing view) in the other direction. Lovely staff. Architecturally interesting. Delicious breakfast served with a view like no other! Real personality in every way. If you enjoy staying in a nature paradise, this place just might be for you.

This place is ideal if you have a car. Without it you might feel a bit far from urban attractions. Also, because it is so quiet, it becomes jarring when you hear helicopters bringing guests to the hotel next door.

The location is amazingly beautiful! The casita was very pretty and bedrooms and bathrooms great. We enjoyed the kitchen and living room and terrace - and especially the pool. TIP: if you want to use the hot tub, you need to pay a fee and tell them 3 hours in advance so they can heat it up. The staff leaves at 6pm so there is no night time access.

I didn’t know that the restaurant was only open for breakfast, and the bar was never open, and that was disappointing to me and several other guests.

The location was really pretty, in front of the lake, and breakfast was nice, but only two options, pancakes or eggs. The rooms, suites and bungalows were unique, rustic and quiet. Suites have kitchen, bbq, fridge and balcony. The Sofabed upstairs is really comfortable

Going to Panajachel town cost TukTuk and after 9pm they double the cost. The hotel doesn’t provide water or snacks. There are scorpions and other insects around and inside the rooms so be careful.

we booked an extra night here. the booking included breakfast which was lovely. Beautiful landscaping and planting with views across the lake. Room was beautiful, beds comfortable, clean and spacious. We were able to get into our room by midday (before 3pm check in) The hotel sent a WhatsApp message prior to our stay with all the information we needed about the hotel.

No tea / coffee facilities. We had a dripping shower in our bathroom. The staff were super friendly although didn't speak English.

We loved our short stay here. The view of the lake and volcanoes is stunning, and the fact there is a private beach as well as the pool area is a bonus. The staff were all incredible, especially Nasario (apologies if this is the wrong name/spelling!) in the bar/restaurant. We had ample room in our suite, and as our room included 4 breakfasts, they gave us all 4 despite there only being 2 of us! They were very accommodating when it came to ordering food for an early dinner. Armando was extremely helpful on WhatsApp also, so we cannot fault the service from the hotel at all! A very comfortable, seamless and spacious private transfer was arranged for us back to Antigua.

There was some serious music noise until around midnight which wasn’t ideal, though this isn’t really the property’s fault as the noise was not made by the hotel. The rooms/suites are not soundproof and unfortunately we could hear the neighbours. It’s a shame the restaurant states they don’t serve dinner, as the location is a bit out of the way (which is a positive in all other aspects), though they were very accommodating to us so we were actually unaffected by this.

The views out to the lake are amazing. We liked the pool area and the eating area, where we enjoyed our breakfasts and had lunch and ordered drinks. The service was impeccable. Reception was very helpful about arranging a lancha for a day trip and setting up a car for our return to Antigua. Breakfasts were delicious and varied. We enjoyed the nature preserve that is so near the property. Also, the property is beautiful maintained and the plants are beautiful to look at.

Somewhat inconvenient that dinner is not served, but lunch goes until quite late and the staff will give you drinks to take to your room.

The hotel is in a lovely setting right on the shores of Lake Atitlan with fabulous views (if you ignore the monstrous tower blocks to the side of the hotel which you only really see if looking back from the lake). Lovely pool with views over the lake, Good breakfast, friendly staff. Quirky and attractive architecture. Great lake access. I only had time for one night at the lake and this was a lovely spot to spend it.

The lack of a dinner offering is a bit of an issue given the distance from Panajachel meaning you either have to travel into Panajachel and return in the dark or order in a takeaway. There seems to be a helicopter landing site nearby and in the morning there was quite a lot of noise from this.
