The location is perfect if you arrive by car and want to explore Budapest using public transport. The M2 metro line is 100m from the hotel entrance with good connections to other lines closer to the city centre. The ticket terminal is on the street level not down in the station. A large variety of buses and trolleybuses are also available next to the nearby metro station. I would suggest using the underground parking lot to park your car. Costs ~6€ for 24h. The payment machine is at the exit of the parking lot. The environment around the hotel could be a lot cleaner and better maintained. Lots of trash around and uncut grass. The room was clean but not very spacious. It had a fridge and a balcony (2nd floor). The internet is pretty fast. Around 200Mbps down and 160Mbps up. The AC is mentioned but doesn’t work even though you have a console in your room it doesn’t do anything. I asked the staff about it and they brought me a ventilator. That was pretty useful since it was 33 degrees C outside. Breakfast had a lot of variety and everything I tried was good. The staff in the breakfast room are always refilling everything, cleaning tables and setting tables when guests leave. So overall - good value for money.

The AC that didn’t work and the surroundings around the hotel could be maintained better.

Close to a metro station, trams, and at a walking distance to the city center, the hotel's location is super handy. It's right by two sports stadiums, so great also for sports events and concerts. The rooms are clean, the AC works, there are enough electrical outlets, and the TV has international channels as well as the Hungarian ones. We also had a balcony. The hotel's breakfast was varied with both sweet and savory options, fresh fruits and baked goods every day. Also included lactose and gluten free options.

The rooms are not super sound-proof, and we had a lot of children on our floor. You can also hear all the party-goers arriving at their rooms during the night, which can wake you up if you have lighter sleep.

I like that it was very clean, the beds were very comfortable, it had a sauna, and a swimming pool! Agi who works the bar sometimes was very kind and hospitable. She really was nice to chat with about Budapest and just super friendly which is not the case with everyone 😊. And Istvan at the check-in desk was very pleasant too! When others smile it’s welcoming! And best of all was the location. The metro was 3min walk nearby, lots of bus and even a mall 2 minutes by bus up the road. In addition it’s close to the most popular Thermal Bath which is Szechenyi. It was convenient.

The rooms although clean needs a refresher and WiFi was dodgy as I worked in my room a few hours while there.

The rooms were clean and well-stocked with amenities. It was a quiet room even though the hotel was crowded for an event, so that was nice. The staff were absolutely lovely and very helpful on a busy day. The location was perfect for events at the arena and the hotel was connected well with the Metro line.

Our stay was during an unseasonable warm day, and the air conditioning was nowhere near strong enough even on full blast, so the room was slightly too warm for comfortable sleep. The layout for breakfast was confusing, cereals were of poor quality and milk was warm, and the offerings were limited for vegetarians.

The location was nice, although not the closest to the center but still practical since it was right next to the metro station. The view was also nice and the beds were comfortable, there was no big noise neither from the outside or from the rooms next door.

The bathroom's drain was really slow so it was a bit uncomfortable to take a shower, there were a few strands of hair in the bathroom so would recommend a more thorough clean-up (the cleaning lady we met was very nice though!). The closet was a bit small for 2 people.

Stvarno odusevljeni hotelom. Metro, tramvaj i autobuska stanica odmah pored (50m). Sve pohvale za Hotel Danubius.

Polite staff, answer questions accurately and do not interfere with anything. They respect your privacy. Rooms are tidy uped every day regardless if you request or not. There's coffee and teabag in the room. The location is quite and the view is nice. Breakfast is fabulous, there were lots of literally "hungry" guests during our stay but still breakfast never ended and was charged constantly. The tables were cleaned immediately. Close to two big shopping centers and IKEA. Easy airport access (airport shuttle+ metro/subway/underground)

Drinking water is not provided for free. The hotel is wthin some distance from the sightseeing attractions, but still very close to the bus stop and metro station by which you can reach the city center or anywhere else. The cafe at the lobby is not recommended. The bath tub drainage was slow and while shower was open, the sink on the other side of the wc would pluff and vice-versa! The laundry does not work during the weekend.

Location was good, close to metro station 3/4 station to city center. Be aware that the ticket machine at this metro station was not accepting card (others usually accepted). Each morning, they serve free to use fruits and black coffee at the main hall, which is awesome for quick morning snack.

Even that in the front of the hotel there was parking free of charge, yet, the staff was ensuring us that most convenient was to pay the 7 eur/per day ticket. The room and the hotel overall was clear, but the interior is kinda old with 00`s vibes. Hotel Restaurant prices are quite high for coffee, beer, sweets and food, compared to city average.

Our first night here was great. Clean, comfortable, friendly staff. Then we ended up booking an extra night the following day . We checked in again around 8pm and we got a room on one of the top floors. We got hardly any sleep because there were student groups on the same level and until 3 am there were lots of screaming, laughin, door banging, running around on the floor. They have been told off by their guardians many times but as soon as they left it resumed. We were furious as the receptionist should not place a married couple on the same floor with dozens of teenagers on holiday. The hotel was definitely was nowhere near full. Left Hungary beyond exhaustion.

It's a really nice hotel, next to the subway, with spa, pool, sauna, great breakfast and amazing staff and service. Good value for money. The staff was very helpful, the room was clean and the sauna was a nice experience. Excellent breakfast. I didn't like the location much as I was spending all my time downtown but everything else was great.

The lack of soundproofing, my second night was a nightmare, because I couldn't sleep at all, a lady in a near room was coughing non stop from 11pm to 8 am and I could hear it as she was standing next to me. I wish she had asked for a syrop or something, nobody's fault but I didn't sleep all night.
