If you have high expectations, don't stay here. Otherwise, this hotel is a very good option if you need safe parking for the car and closeness (10 min walk) to the metro station. The breakfast is continental and with a good selection, coffee is great!

The hotel is a bit noisy, it's basically an old apartment building transformed in a hotel. Could be better cleaned inside the rooms, it's ok but if don't look under the beds For a short 1-2 night stay is good. If you plan a longer stay or if you have higher expectations then this won't work for you.

The hotel was fine. Close to the metro station and supermarkets, in a quiet area. Rooms are spacious, breakfast is very good and the 24 hour reception is a bonus. Although the hotel looks dated and perhaps a few bits need updating, sometimes if it isn't broke then it doesn't need fixing. I wouldn't hesitate to book again. Great value for money!!

The surrounding area is a bit spooky at night, and the general outside of the hotel makes it look worse than it is. Once inside the front door, it's excellent.

Rooms were comfortable, staff were friendly and helpful - we arrived in the city at 9am and they let us leave luggage and get the room a few hours early. Breakfast had a decent amount of options, the A/C was good and could be left on during the day, and you could log into Netflix on the TV! There is also a Lidl 5 mins away to get supplies.

The location meant there were not a lot of bars nearby or general night life, but it was only a short journey to get to a few places!

Clean hotel, I felt safe here. Very close to tram and metro stops (2 min walk). There was Hungarian breakfast included daily, with hot and cold options. The staff were accommodating and efficient. Tea and kettle in room. Air conditioned room. Hotel is generally quiet (no outside noises heard for the inward-facing room I stayed in). Generally the guests were quiet, too.

It is an older hotel. TV was a CRT model (haven't seen one in years). There were no USB charging ports. No milk in room for tea. Rooms have windows, but most look into the middle of the building - nothing to view. The area is not well-to-do, so expect some poor and homeless people around, though they will cause no trouble.

Very convenient accomodation. We stayed here with my wife for two days and anjoyed our time here. It is not located in the very downtown, but there is a tram station right next to the hotel and a metro station nearby. The brakfast was fine, no problems. Our room was oriented to the backyard, it was nicely silent here.

The shower is tiny, it was a bit tricky to squeeze in.

I really liket the location of this hotel. We went to Budapest for a concert and even after standing for hours we managed to walk back to the hotel from Puskás Aréna.

The bathroom was really small. Our room was on the sunny side of the building so it was quite hot in there (we went there in the summer)

Lovely continental style breakfast, with hot food like eggs, eggy toast, sausages, some traditional foods too. Lovely bread. The layout for breakfast is really good and the staff are super helpful.

Coffee machine broke and the potted coffee was too strong.

Air conditioning was the best (totally saved my life under 42 degrees)!! Staff speak very good English. Breakfast lasts until 10 am and I enjoyed it. Got a TV and a freezer (fully-functional albeit looking slightly old and wrecked). Got single-use shampoo and body gel.

The location is less convenient than I thought. You'll need to walk a bit from the nearest metro station. The room looks rather average than stylish. In some (just a few) corners there were ruins of bugs and spider webs which added to the vintage vibe of the whole room, I guess ;) But in general it was all good.

Location not to far from city centre. Breakfast varied and very good,desserts and drinks (juice, coffee, tea). Gabor receptionist very friendly and helpful. Towels changed every day and toilet paper replaced. The room it was nice and warm. If I will go again in Budapest I will choose Atlantic Hotel.

Just one thing when I chose twins rooms I thought that you can go from one room to another.

Everything was fine. Our room was quiet, clean, not to big but just enough for one night stay in Budapest. Breakfast was nice. Hotel is well located so you can walk to the city center if you are in shape or use a tram to Blaha Lujza ter and there you can choose other lines (tram or metro). There are a lot small shops where you can buy anything you need, some fast food restaurants, oriental shops etc.
