The apartment is very modern, clean, nice, and well-equipped. We had everything we needed for our stay in the rooms and bathroom, as well as the fridge in our room. By the way, the snack and drink fridge in the corridor was also an amazing idea! The owners are very friendly and nice; they provided us with very useful information and instructions we needed for our stay, and they were always there to respond quickly to our questions, etc. What's more, it was so nice to receive their little welcome gift: Icelandic chocolate! We also loved this little charming city very much. We hope to come back again one day. Highly recommended! P.S. the location is amazing!

Fantastic, clean, modern lodging on the way between Thingvelir and Geysir, very convenient. Self checkin with a code. Ample parking just in front, convenience store 2 minutes away. Large clean rooms, big bathroom. We had a family room, enough storage space. Kettle, cups and microwave available at the family room. Walking distance to the geothermal swimming pool, restaurant. The host is always online via WhatsApp, in case there is any issue. Highly recommended.

There isn't a common seating area, nor is there a table with chairs in the room (we had a family room, there was a small table for the kettle and two chairs only, no enough for a family to have breakfast or a light dinner). But otherwise, everything was fantastic. Would gladly be back if around next time.

Spacious room and bathroom, comfortable beds and well equipped. Welcome gift of chocolate was a nice touch. Also a fridge in entrance hall to buy drinks was useful and picnic tables outside were great to eat in the sunshine. Very close to Laugarvatn Fontana which we enjoyed visiting.

We were in room no 1 and there was a humming noise that we think was coming from a store room underneath. Maybe a generator? Wasn’t too bad the first night but got louder and disturbed our sleep a bit the second night.

We had a great time at Bjork Guesthouse. The room was cosy and clean, the beds comfortable and the bathroom huge. There was a tiny fridge, a kettle and some tea bags available in the room. As a welcome gift we have received a chocolate from Iceland which we appreciated a lot. We also have received recommendations from one of the owner for a nice dinner spot and for the local swimming pool to relax in the hot tubs for little money. The guys are super helpful and easy to reach via WhatsApp.

Modern, clean guesthouse in a central location, near a small supermarket and very convenient location for the Golden Circle. The staff was amazing: very responsive, attentive, they gave us all the useful info beforehand and contacted us also via WhatsApp to ensure we had received everything. The room with the private bathroom was huge and new with design furniture. The bed and pillow were SO comfortable.

There’s no kitchen in the house or microwave in the room, this would have been a big plus for us. For the rest, it was absolutely perfect.

We were extremely happy. The room was very good, comfortable, clean - everything you can ask for. We loved our bathroom as well. Considering a very reasonable price the room exceeded our expectations in every aspect. The owner contacted us to ensure everything is ok and that we do not need anything. They really care! If you are looking for accomodation that does not cost a fortune, but will make you feel very comfortable, this is the place! Thank you :)

Everything was great

This was probably one of the best experiences we've had so far, because we got more than we expected. We got a core memory, thanks to Kristofer who knew exactly where to send us in order to see the Northern Lights (not even the app indicated we could see it very close to our location). Also, the guesthouse is very authentic, yet modern, it feels very warm and cozy, it was clean, we had everything we needed, and we also got a sweet surprise as a souvenir, and this is what shows their attention to details. Thank you once again!

The house is beautiful and it is located in a very scenic place. You can go for a quick stroll to the lake. The room is very confortable and has good heating. We appreciated the good tea and the welcome gift! The service was great, quick communication, and the fact that the owner informed us that our room was ready early was really helpful. There is no TV in the room, but that actually inspired us to go out and explore the surroundings.
