Good-sized studio with fully equipped kitchen & spacious for 3-4 pax per room. Very clear check in instructions. Just 20-30min drive from Selfoss - lesser light pollution which allowed us to see the Northern lights dance right in front of & above the apartment 3 nights in a row ! (Good weather + strong solar activity were very important factors)

Wifi was a little spotty

This was the best stay of our Iceland trip. The size of the room was bigger than expected. Every furniture piece was well thought out and served a purpose, nothing was unnecessary. Enough counter space and an open closet to put our stuff. Lots of wall hangers around the house to easily hang coats, purse, trousers etc. The place was very clean. The kitchen was well equipped.

A mattress topper would be appreciated to close the gap between two mattresses on the bed. Also the kitchen had only two pots and a pan. Can have one or two pot with handle of small size.

I liked the location, it's right in the golden circle, Gullfoss is only 40 min drive away. The room and washroom were really clean, it had a nice lavender scent. The kitchen is full equipped with stove, mini fridge, sink, microwave oven, pots and pans, cutlery, dinnerware and kitchen utensils. The access to the room is really convenient, the host will message the access code to the front door. Only thing to take into consideration, if you need to get groceries, to need to drive to Selfoss or to Fludir. If you're lucky as we were, this is the perfect place to watch the Auroras. Parking is free.

Everything. The appartment was clean, organized and warm. With all the facilities needed. The place is well located close to the golden circle. There is a parking in front of each appartment. The check in and out were easy and well explained .

A motel style apartment next to the road in perfect location if you do not want to do the golden circle in a single day. The doors can be opened with a code, so it is quite easy (although there was a small hiccup as we accidentally received the code to another apartment, hence I had to call the owner. But it was resolved quickly). The apartment was clean, spacious, it was alright. Although it must be mentioned that the pictures are older now, the apartment is more used now, compared to how it looks on the pictures.

The kitchen could use a big renovation. It is old now, with the furniture creaking, and having stains on it. Also the kitchen facilitites are quite old. In my opinion the bed mattresses could be also changed, they are quite laid out and soft now.

Great apartment about 25 minutes outside of Selfoss at the far East side of the Golden Circle Dr. Perfect if you want to be relatively near waterfalls and geysers and city, but don't want to stay in the middle of a city of any size. Also, good location for a stay that is about half-way between Reykjavik and Vik. Kitchen was well-stocked for cooking and eating, just bring your groceries with you. All beds comfortable (and one side of large bed even had control to lift head of mattress), plenty of towels for 2 people, and bathroom and main area had ample space to move around. Might have been slightly crowded with 4 people. 15-20 minutes from Secret Lagoon thermal bath (reserve spots ahead of time), so works well to do that at the end of the day and then head back here for the evening. As suggested, just putting "South Central Apartments" into navigation systems easily found the correct location, and the key pad entry code provided ahead of time makes it easy to get in, no matter what time you arrive. There are about 8 units located in a line, but we didn't hear any noise from any of our neighbors. Lots of parking in front of apartments and located right on Rt 30.

Only complaint is that the wood laminate flooring in the main room was squeaky!

A meticulously cleaned place with all the amenities needed for an overnight stay. Whether you need a stop-over during touring the Golden Circle or whether you are traveling the ring road, this place is definitely worth a consideration. Highly recommended!

The ventilation turns on automatically quite often and is noisy. Unfortunately this disturbed our sleep several times during the night.

Amazing clean and new accomodation with double glazing, automatic windows, all mod cons and super good beds! It's also quite big for a studio and it's tastefully decorated. The staff changes your towels every day which is a bonus! And there are no requests from them at all, you're left to enjoy the place and some peace and quiet. The location is excellent near a secret hot lagoon, and half hour from the Golden Circle's Gullfoss. Highly recommend it!

It depends what you expect, it is definitely not a luxury hotel, just a motel close to the road but I really liked the stay there for the very reasonable price. We simply got everything we needed and we didn't get surprised negatively. The location is perfect for visiting the Golden Circle especially, although keep in mind that the nearest biggest city - Selfoss- is about 25 km from there. During the day we mainly were outside, visiting the island so we were just coming back to sleep there and it was a perfect fit to our needs.

Room was very large with mini kitchen. Quiet location. Motel style (park car right outside your front door). Self check-in.

Could hear neighbours talking and their television. Front doors latch is loud (like a door slamming) so depending on your neighbours, it can get very loud.
