The cabin was very warm, quite basic but had everything you need for a few days. It had a hob and a microwave with good pressure shower. Nicely set amongst the trees. About a 15min walk to the supermarket and restaurants. Selfoss is a great location to explore the golden circle and south coast if you don't want to stay in Reykjavik. 1hr 20mins easy drive from the airport. Free parking on site.

No real complaints, adding some shelves or drawers would be useful. It had a bunk set and extra bed. 2 of us so we used the top bunk to put our things on, but it might be difficult in there were 3 people with a lot of luggage. It was fine for 2 people with packs so long as you kept your stuff in your pack.

Review is for one of the bungalows/cottages: Size was right for us, if you travel with a lot of baggage, there is not much space to organize and store it conveniently. Kitchen is equipped quite well, basically everything we needed was there. Bed is comfy and big enough. Hot tubs were relaxing and are open all night. Good value overall. Let down was the shower, really old and crusty hardware, not very clean. Could definitely be updated to suit the rest of the cabin, which is modernized.

Charming cabin set off in the woods with a private hot tub was relaxing for the night we were there as we had finished the Golden Circle and were off to explore the Southern Shore. We were out in the hot tub at 9:45 when the Aurora started coming out for about 30 minutes and it ended up the only night we saw them (due to clouds).

There was a designated parking spot but we had to search around and down the paths to find the specific cabin. Other maps on the buildings showed some of the smaller ones, so it'd be helpful to put that map up (maybe on the parking post?).

A lovely, cosy and quiet hut with everything a traveller needs. The setting is lovely, the centre of Selfoss with its shops and restaurants is very close by. The hut was very comfortable (especially the bed) and big, and very good curtains on the windows which is nice in the summer. A few other things we really liked: well-equipped kitchen, large bathroom, sitting area in front of the entrance, parking a few meters away and everything was very clean. I would return anytime, alone or with a family, for a shorter or longer stay as well. We were really glad that this was our last accommodation, because it was a great end to the trip. Thank you for everything!

A cute facility! Loved the camping atmosphere. Our cabin shared a wall with another cabin, but we didn't hear any noise. We enjoyed having a small kitchen and being able to sit outside on our own porch. It was small, but no surprises.

The sheet on the double bed was so worn and thin, it was as if you were sitting directly on the mattress itself without any covering. I was worried it would tear while I was sleeping, so it wasn't too comfortable.

The girl at the front desk was so sweet and helpful. What a nice person she is. The campground and the cabins were super cute. I stayed in a cabin and it had everything I needed. The hot tubs were a nice touch. I would love to stay here again someday.

The only thing I would change is maybe possibly securing your wi-fi. For a minute I thought I had been hacked and I'm a coder so it's important to have secure Wi-Fi.

Very nice Guesthouse.We stayed in cottage with jacuzzi and big terrace.It was very specious and well equipped,two rooms and kitchen with dining area.The place is very close to Selfoss,walking distance and major attractions in the area. The staff is really amazing and helpful.We had an wvening flight so we could Leave our car and take shower at the camping begore leaving in the evening whis I find very nice.

We loved the overall room - cute, clean, spacious, comfortable. It had all that we needed for our stay and it was nice and comfortable and warm. The location is great and close to everything. It's a quiet area and nicely attended. People who work here are also extremely nice and I would definitely come back again.

Unfortunately the cabin that we had shared a wall with another cabin and the walls were extremely thin and we could hear the full conversation of people next to us. Thankfully, they were as quiet as we were overall and we had a nice quiet night regardless.

It was perfect for our stay. It had a small kitchen, but well equipped and enough for prepping some quick meals. Easy check in using a door code. We had some issues using the code until we figured out you need to push the numbers very gently and then it worked. We also had some issues starting the stove and the personnel was very nice, come to show us how to do it. Felt pretty stupid, but they were very nice about it. Seemed the "lock key" was on, all we had to do was push that lock button to unlock it. Room was big enough for us -2 adults and 1 teen. It could fit 4 people. Perfect location for us to visit the Lava tunnel and the Golden Circle

I would've liked to have had 3 chairs at the table instead of 2. For 3 people we pulled the table side close to the bed so one person would use the bed to sit on, but for 4 people it would've been a challenge to eat at the same time

Good location for the "Golden Circle" natural monuments. Bungalow comfortably warm even when freezing outside (geothermal heating + hot shower!), comfortable beds, well equipped kitchen. Super easy self check-in (numeric code sent in advance; we would not have to even meet the guy from the reception but we did anyway, as we needed his help to understand the operation of the stove; he gave us a physical key to make entering easier).

Traces of mold in some corners - perhaps inevitable in this kind of building and environment. Also a bit more shelves for food in kitchen and for our stuff in general would be helpful.
