Vivanta ticks all the boxes of a good premium hotel - stylish, efficient, reasonably indulgent and hospitable. The hotel is a safe bet for anyone unfamiliar with the place since it is located in the central cultural zone of the city and will give you the familiarity and predictability of the Taj hotel group. Rooms are stylish, comfortable and well equipped. Ticks all the boxes here too. Breakfast spread was really good. I'd have loved to try more dishes since there were enough options across all cuisines - local dishes, south indian, north indian, continent, healthy and snacky in both veg and non veg.

The hotel in Thiruvananthapuram feels not too different from anywhere else. Being someone who lived in the city and returning to it 2 decades later, the hotel experience seemed very generic. Of course the people and food options gave it the local flavour, but the design, look, feel and experiences were mundanely global. (wonder if it's a reason to complain). The hotel is located in a by-lane, off the main roads and has nothing really to offer - sights, shopping, street food, etc - within casual walking distance.

I cherish the cordial welcome, trained, friendly staff and the courtesy of the management.

There are some minor conflicts. At breakfast the calm atmosphere and the gentle music is destroyed by television screens.Breaking news and ugly scenes do not belong in the dining area, especially at breakfast. No point to have Indian TV and western vc lasdical music. Also the guests need to be reminded, they should kindly use mobile phones, alnd listen to youtube videos outside and not disturb other guests with loud talk and poor manners. I look for TAJ quality, for peace, quiet conversation, not the noise and chaos of the Indian market.

Me and my parents had a fantastic stay at Vivanta Trivandrum from January 27th to 29th. The hotel’s prime location offers easy access to the famous Padmanabhaswamy Temple and other attractions in the city. From check-in to check-out, the entire experience was seamless, thanks to the extremely cordial and hospitable staff. Dining at Konkan Café for dinner and Mynt for breakfast was a delightful experience. The personal touch of the chef coming out to inquire about our experience added to the warmth of the service. The waitstaff at both restaurants were attentive and friendly, making our meals even more enjoyable. The room was spacious, clean, and well-equipped with all the necessary amenities expected from a hotel of this caliber. Moreover, the in-house shop, Bakshis, added to the charm of the hotel, offering unique curios that would appeal to tourists. Overall, we had a wonderful stay and truly appreciated the hospitality and attention to detail. I would highly recommend Vivanta Trivandrum to anyone visiting the city.

Breakfast was a wonderful spread and extremely po QQ QQ lite and courteous staff to help us make our choices and serve us making us feel extremely comfortable. A special call out and thank you to the restaurant staff Alex, Pooja, Ajay and the head chef Amar Nath Singh who went out of their way to serve us with efficiency and warmth ! A special call out to the front desk staff too - Sreelakshmi, Wasim and one more tall gent ( curly hair ) who made our check in and check out process so smooth and comfortable.. We loved our stay here and we do hope to visit you again and r commend Vivanta Trivandram to all we meet.

We had a fantastic stay at Vivanta Taj Trivandrum! From the moment we arrived, the staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcomed and comfortable. Their friendly and helpful approach really made our experience memorable. One of the highlights of our stay was the extensive breakfast spread – there was something for everyone! The variety and quality of dishes were impressive, from local delicacies to international favorites, all prepared beautifully. Overall, our stay was exceptional, and we highly recommend Vivanta Taj Trivandrum for anyone looking for a warm and luxurious experience in Trivandrum.

They arranged that for me. I also liked the fact it has a mosque nearby And the amazing thing is it had a church and temple nearby reflecting the multicultural and harmonious environment in Thiruvananthapuram. The staff were quick to respond to any inconvenience to the guest. A guest complained about a fly while having breakfast and came a team of staff to get rid of covertly:-)

I asked for assistance for touring around the hotel. I was told a call would come but it did not happen. Also I had taken two rooms with asses to other room from whithin my room but I got the key to the other room after a reminder in the evening Although staff are good but it seems there is a communication gap between the staff. Just putting these so that the hotel improves it's already excellent services.

well-designed clean rooms with pleasant decor. Good WI-FI speed. A/C temperature controls work well and so does TV remote. Very friendly staff, Great experience in the dining room. Chef cooked good authentic Kerala cuisine as per our requirements. They engaged with the guests very well. We had good, interesting discussions with many staff who suggested various places to see.

Nothing specific. The property is small . Not much greenery and space for a leisurely morning walk ! Lot of traffic on the road in front.

There was so much to love about the hotel! First and foremost, the staff were amazing and served with a smile, were always pleasent and had a caring nature to making my stay, fabulous! The management should be really proud of the staff there and hope they get rewarded for their continuous standard. Most of all, as guests we want to be looked after! I only had the complementary breakfast as I was out majority of the time I was there, I enjoyed it thoroughly. The live counters were a nice touch, I loved my fresh dosa in the morning. Once critic would be that they should have options for continental breakfast, it was limited but I was there for the idly and dosa! No complaints about location either, I managed to get there from the airport quickly and everywhere was accessible which was handy. Overall a nice, clean and comfortable stay with excellent staff. Only part I was disappointed with is that there wasn't a spa or massage area in the hotel. I've seen other hotels in the area not as good have these facilities. I had to book a private massage elsewhere but would've preferred to have one in the comfort of my hotel.

We had an excellent breakfast experience thanks to the attentive team. Mohan, who manages the coffee station, was especially outstanding—friendly, warm, and always making sure our cups were full. The restaurant manager also stood out with his constant presence, checking on guests and ensuring everyone felt welcome and well looked after. Truly a delightful start to the day!

Generally staff attitude and respect was excellent. Food service was also good. A good selection of dishes to try both local and foreign. Price was a bit on the expensive side for laundry and drinks.

They could do more to ensure room service is more prompt. and making sure toiletries etc regularly replenished without the need for chasing etc.
