How can such a modern hotel feel so authentic? What is that makes the smallest square Feet so comfortable? I just can't figure it out. But it's a great piece of art. From the entrance way up to the rooftop terrace. It feels so good that we came back for seconds. That's why I can confirm it wasn't just a one-off experience. Their service level is consistent. The staff working there are really hardworking hospitality professionals, but they make it personal. It feels like I'm their only customer at the moment. Awesome! Also, location, location, location!

Their chefs! The food is so amazing I gained a few pounds because of their delicious midnight meals

Loved the decor throughout, (except in our room). Good in restaurant was exceptional, and the music was soothing & interesting. Great location. Wonderful staff. Really really really appreciated having a weighing scale in our room-- vital for travellers who need to be careful about luggage weight limits.

The room was tiny, more like a small hostal room or dormitory. The televisión had no subscription channels.

The room, although a little smaller than I expected, was great with a cool night view to the Jakarta city. It is clean and very comfortable. The staff are all friendly and helpful. The design is unique, cosy and the room is well maintained. Supplies like water, coffee, tea, kettle, soap, shampoo and lotion are provided. The location is great, walking distance to Sarinah and Grand Indonesia, also close to the National Monument. Well located in the heart of Jakarta Pusat where you can explore culture, history and also modern life in the big city.

The gym facilities may need to be refurbished or the fitness equipment updated and the bathing kimonos that are provided in the room should be washed thoroughly.

Conveniently located in city centre. The rooms are on the small side but it didn't feel cramped. The beds were comfortable, the water pressure in the shower is superb. Staff is very friendly and helpful.

AC is a bit slow to get cold. The sink has some drainage issue as it gets easily clogged even when simply washing hands.

I can’t recommend Kosenda highly enough. situated in a great spot, not too touristy, not too busy (for Jakarta) it was a great place to kick off our indonesia trip. The entire hotel is really well designed, the rooms are modern, clean, comfy. The restaurant, cafe, outside space and roof terrace are all great spaces to eat or chill. The staff are all really friendly and helpful. but above all, the food was really good, particularly the breakfasts. there are different menus for the roof terrace and the restaurant. both delicious. And fantastic value for money.

Deco for the rooms was nice. Staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Breakfast was homely. It is a very well design boutique hotel which will and have attracted many foreigners to the hotel.

The hotel doesnt have a dropoff area for taxi. Given that most people will take taxi in Jakarta, not having a groundfloor place to wait for taxi was not ideal given that it rained when i was there.

Finally, I'm back to this boutique hotel and actually stayed in the same room like 5 years ago. Breakfast is minimalist but delicious! I always love their cute room design. The staff are very helpful. The bed is quite small and hard, but I can sleep well for 2 nights. The location is perfect! After 5 years, the hotel and its amenities are a bit run down, but generally still convenient to stay in.

The front office is always empty, and I have to wait a bit to get service. The management needs to hire more staff. I would expect a 4-stars more than this in terms of staff readiness. Wi-fi in the mezzanine hallway is a bit spotty compared to the one in the room.

Great location within easy walking distance many of Jakarta's top tourist sites, excellent food in both the restaurant and rooftop bar. Communal areas very stylish, staff very welcoming and helpful.

I stayed two nights and the soundproofing of my room was variable - I guess the room is only as quiet as your neighbour, and only one night was disturbed so this is a very minor point. It would also have been good to have wifi in the rooftop bar.

The overall ambience of the hotel, more than average room amenities (e.g. office supplies), friendly and helpful staff. Location is also good - walking distance to malls and access to public transport.

Though comfortable, rooms are a bit tight - no mini fridge, and the sink is outside the bathroom.

The breakfast was really good, i like the decor at the hotel and of course the room. Small but minimalist designed and functional (i.e. equipped with the facilities). The shower pressure was also good.

No international charger spares for us to us. We noted there was only 1 and it was taken up by a guest. The rooftop seems a bit too dark, lots of mosquitoes and too busy with the plants/deco.
