The location was simply the best. Few minutes from BTS and great food courts around. Structure and architecture of the building as well as the rooms were very bold and artsy. Breakfast was mind blowing There were great coffee pods and machine in the rooms.

Rooms are not spacious, well utilised space though... Toilet doors don't have lock/ latch which is a problem for twin beds Room lights were too insufficient For a sustainable art hotel, getting plastic bottles in the room was a little sad, tbh. Would appreciate glass bottles and filters on each floor or even at the reception.

Wow wow and wow, really enjoyed my stay at ARTOTEL and its perks. Prime location (right behind Sarinah Mall, which is a really impressive mall); artistic (has a mini art gallery); Double Chins restaurants have excellent food and cocktails, and BART (the rooftop bar) does very good cocktails, too (Guava Negroni is a must try!); comfortable and very clean room: I stayed in a Studio which offers big bed, artistic desk (with artistic chair and lamp), minibar, well-equipped bathroom. Thanks to the extremely helpful and professional staff at ARTOTEL, too. Honestly, nothing to complain. I will stay here again for sure if I come back to Jakarta.

Location is central, close to public transportation. Room is medium-sized, but spacious enough. Basic amenities are provided. Staffs are friendly and accomodating, requested a room well below the 7th floor and was put into a 2nd floor room at the end of the hallway. Beds and pillows are comfortable. There are enough varieties on the breakfast menu, plus there is an egg station.

No hairdryer in the room, but it is listed on the room facilities here. The lighting in the room is a bit dim. Room isn't well soundproofed, there were still noises leaked from the hallway. Especially if you're in the bathroom, you can hear some noises from adjoining room. Shower floor is a bit slippery. Breakfast space is on the small side and sometimes they run out of cutleries and mugs.

location is the best and the staff is helpful in providing information and always smile and greets everytime at the lobby and makes the stay very much memorable. Very likely to come back again and stay at the same hotel. It is also well known everytime taking the taxi to go back. Just mention Artotel Thamrin and they quickly know where it is!!

Maybe the towels need replacement as the colour is no longer bright white, and maybe some rooms need some minor touch up here and there. And perhaps maybe its the time to carpet the whole room to make it feels luxury!

Liked the art concept and proximity to the city. The bar staff entertained us. All the staff were friendly and helpful. The breakfast options were really good and we enjoyed the dinner we had in the restaurant. The staff out the front who helped us to get a taxi was awesome.

More towels and pillows is always good and extra hangers to hang clothes would have been ideal. Not enough power points for charging near the bed. Taxi assistance would be a great extra - figuring out the apps is a bit difficult.

I enjoyed a very happy stay here – the bed and pillows were exceptionally comfortable, and the shower (pressure and temperature) was perfect. There was a wide selection at the breakfast buffet, too. The hotel is almost across the road from Sarinah mall (brilliant for batik fashion), and a short walk from Jl Sabang, which is fantastic for street food in the evenings.

The lighting was very dim, so if your night vision is poor, you might appreciate having packed a head torch :)

Conveniently located for my needs, right across the road from a mall with several food options and store if I didn’t want to eat at the hotel itself. Every staff member that I encountered, from the front desk clerks to the housekeeping, restaurant and rooftop bar, were extremely helpful and friendly. I would definitely stay here again.

- Staffs are super friendly and professional. I had to do some work and need to print a document. I asked if they can help. One staff just right away asked me to send the document, she printed that out. I asked if I should pay, she said no. - Location is super good to reach restaurants, Sarinah, going places in the city center of Jakarta. - The room is cleaned. - They gave us some mineral water each day. That is something we appreciated. - Indonesian breakfast!!! They are really good and tasty :) basic international breakfast is also available: toast, cereal. - rooftop bar. We had late dinner with nice drinks during our stay :) - nescafe coffee machine in the room! :)

- The room looks old. We can spot some dirt on the wall, on the desk - The towels look old. But it is clean.

Good Hotel at a very good location. Friendly staff, good breakfast and well maintained cleanliness of rooms and bathrooms. I stayed here for 5 nights. Size of the room was decent though not big. Overall a good and affordable place to stay in a nice location. Around 5-10 minutes walking distance from Plaza Indonesia and Grand Indonesia shopping malls.

The lighting in the room was very less. Somehow managed it. Also, late night music sounds came from the roof top bar affecting sleep negligibly. It's not enough to awaken you but in case you get up due to nature's call, then you may have some issues falling asleep again if you are a light sleeper. Other than that I could not find any other issues with the hotel.
