The resort is beautiful and there are plenty of things to do and places to eat.

For a beautiful and quite expensive hotel, I found it sad that they didn’t offer anything complimentary. there was a fee for everything, including a morning group yoga class, later check in, using the spa (no massages) using the tennis court. The staff were constantly upselling and I thought it was a bit cheap considering the room is expensive.

Beautiful resort, amazing pools, very clean and tidy, gorgeous gardens and sea views. The rooms and bathrooms are lovely, very comfy beds. The buffet breakfasts (included in our room rate) were the best we have had, really good selection, all you can eat and more! The resort has some of the best pools we've seen, make sure you take the free shuttles to other resorts on the property to swim in their pools and try their restaurants. - The Luna Rooftop Bar at the Ayana Segara Bali was amazing, best sunsets and cocktails - The Rock Bar at the Ayana outstanding and very cool vibe - The Cultural Show and buffet dinner at the Rimba Boutique outstanding evening - The Kubu Beach Club also on the Ayana estate was well worth the visit, monkeys on the beach, Bintang's and cocktails. We would stay longer next time, 4 nights wasn't long enough. There was only one thing we weren't happy with...

Not happy that the front desk staff take a deposit that is held against your room (so you can charge food, drinks etc against your room) On departure they make you pay everything in full and tell you the room deposit will be reversed. Well it's been over two weeks and I'm still waiting for my room deposit to be refunded! IDR 1 million (NZD$1000+) not happy that I've messaged them at least 3 times and still haven't received my deposit refund. You need to fix this Ayana, it's not good enough! Also the dinners in the restaurants are pricey, especially for families. It would be great to have a cheaper family restaurant onsite. The only other option is to order food via Gojek (uber) and have it delivered to the resort or grab a Gojek and go out of the resort for dinner.

Very clean place, people are so nice and helpful. Very big resort and it has everything you need so you don’t have to go out. We stayed here for 6 nights and we enjoyed the beach and restaurants.

Honestly one of the most incredible resorts I've ever stayed in. Excellent service, everyone is incredibly friendly and attentive. The pools are INCREDIBLE - and the Ocean Beach Pool has an unbelievable view of the sunset. All the restaurants we went to were delicious and good value for money. The entire resort is designed beautifully, great architecture, atmospheric lighting and very peaceful. The rooms are comfortable and our room had the most beautiful ocean view (and again beautiful view for sunsets). I don't know what else to say other than this place is an absolute paradise and haven. Fantastic sunsets, excellent private beach (Kubu beach), excellent service and incredible facilities. Highly recommend if you want to treat yourself to affordable luxury in Bali.

Some of the guests can be noisy when coming back to their rooms at all hours in the night, but the hotel provides ear plugs and/or handles it for you.

At the time I booked via booking it did not state in a transparent way the room was not in Ayana main resort and i got a room with almost no view on a low floor at their newer resort segara. Even the pictures on booking dont show segara. If this is on purpose its not right :(

Visually beautiful. Our room was spacious and comfortable We had a view over the gardens and out to sea. We ate a 4 of the restaurants and couldn’t fault the food and service. The breakfast is something to look forward to every day The Rock Bar was a fantastic experience. The sunset, food and drinks we perfect. The staff were amazing in all areas. The pools are amazing and refreshing

We enjoyed everything about Ayana, but just be mindful that each meal/drink comes with a service charge and tax

stunning location, the views are and sunsets are just breathtaking. The spa and gym are both excellent.

the breakfast options for gluten free were very limited. The rooms are rather dated and dark inside.

One of the best resorts I visited in my life

On arrival we were greeted by staff dressed in beautiful Balinese attire and presented with a lei made of frangipanis. We were then taken to the Reservation desk and given a welcome drink and cold towel. We waited about 5 mins before we were tended to and check-in completed. We were escorted to our room which was an Ocean View Room. The room was spacious with beautiful timber furniture including the bed, sofa and dining table with 2 chairs. we also had a narrow balcony with a table and chairs. The resort itself is huge with many different areas to explore. Each day over 5 days we headed to explore different areas including Kubu beach, the Rock Bar, Rima and the new Segara. Trams are provided to transport you around the resort. The pools were great - we swam in the main infinity pool and the Rock Pool. We dined at 4 different restaurants and had very good and varied meals. Breakfast was included in our package and it was an excellent spread with barista made coffee. Mitha from Padi, Dharma from Sami Sami, Eka from the Rock pool & Kisik and Weda from Kisik all gave outstanding, friendly service. Of course we visited the Rock Bar for sunset too! Ayana Bali also thoughtfully provided a small decorated birthday cake with candles as were celebrating an early birthday for my husband. We really enjoyed our time at Ayana Bali.
