We had a lovely stay at Kamasan Cottage, a charming little place located just 10 minutes from Toya Pakeh Harbour. Surrounded by nature, the cottage offers a peaceful and quiet atmosphere—perfect for a relaxing getaway. We were warmly welcomed with a refreshing drink and pleasantly surprised by a beautifully decorated honeymoon room, free of charge—a thoughtful gesture that made our arrival extra special. The breakfast was also nice. The host, Wayan, was incredibly kind and helpful from the moment we arrived. She helped us arrange a scooter at a reasonable price and ensured we were comfortable throughout our stay. Being close to the jungle, we did have an unexpected visit from a couple of geckos on our second night, which disturbed our sleep a bit. However, Wayan responded quickly and promptly moved us to another room. While the property doesn’t have an in-house restaurant, there's a good Indian restaurant and a local warung nearby that met our dining needs. Plus, a variety of beachfront bars and restaurants are just a short 10-minute scooter ride away. Overall, Kamasan Cottage is a great option if you're looking for a cozy, nature-filled stay with exceptional hospitality in Nusa Penida.

Since it’s closer to the jungle area, you may encounter some local reptiles like chi chaks and geckos. Also, the neighbors have chickens that constantly go "cock-a-doodle-doo" early in the morning. So, be aware of these factors. If you’re a picky traveler, it might feel a bit inconvenient.

Beautiful cottages very spacious and modern. The hosts were the friendliest and most helpful people we met in Indonesia. Breakfast was on point, with juice fruit and a form of eggs of your choice with tea or coffee. Only 10 minutes from the port via scooter. They helped with scooter hire which was all fine!

Nothing.There are upgrades being made to the restaurant and pool area but it wasn't any issue for us at all. No noise etc.

You have couple of steps to a small bike repair where you can buy water and 1 min walk to where you can rent a bike. Around you have some nice warungs to eat. The cottage is big, clean, nice bathroom with a lot of greenery infront. You order the breakfast and they bring it to you. They help you organize any tours with inhouse driver. p

Nothing to say. Currently they are building one more villa and a pool, but that didn’t bother me. We were out the whole day so noise was not a problem.

Absolutely loved my stay at this cottage! The highlight was definitely Muliastika, whose kindness and support made our experience unforgettable. From the moment we arrived, he went above and beyond, even preparing a complimentary birthday cake and thoughtful decorations that made the celebration special. The cottage itself is immaculate—very clean and tidy—with a beautiful garden that adds to its charm. The location is perfect for exploring the area, and Muliastika even arranged transportation for us to the port, handling our luggage with a smile. He also helped us with dinner, bringing us delicious fried treats from a local restaurant. His warmth and dedication truly make a difference. I’m incredibly grateful to have met such a wonderful person. This place deserves a solid 10-star review! Highly recommended for anyone looking for a beautiful and welcoming stay. All was perfect!

Everything was perfect, room was very clean, the bed was so comfy, sitting outside the cottage surrounded by the garden was so calm and relaxing. Breakfast was so delicious. The staff were absolutely wonderful and friendly, the lady at the reception was so kind that kept our suitcases all night long while we were away without asking for any money and helped us get to the harbour the day after. She made us feel like we were home during our time there.

Excellent place to stay while doing a one-night trip to Nusa Penida! I really appreciated the coordination of the driver, the scheduled west coast tour, and ability to have laundry done on a fast and affordable turnaround! There are also a few restaurants, including a great Indian spot, within walking distance!

The shower pressure was extremely low, but I was able to make things work for one night! Breakfast was convenient and nice to have, but very simple!

The hospitality was 10/10. This family business deserves all the success. They helped us with everything from refilling our bottles whenever we asked to arranging our taxis and scooter pick up (so we didn’t have to rush for the ferry)! Breakfast was delicious each morning on our patio, at whatever time we asked for it ❤️ the WiFi is fast and reliable, is fine for working / streaming / calls (but there is no desk). We were impressed with the bathroom - super big and the shower pressure was great! The bed was comfy and actually had a duvet (I don’t like when you just get given a sheet at most accommodations!!). When we return to Nusa Penida, we will stay here again!

The WiFi box is on the wall so the light from it is very bright in the dark.

The breakfast was really good and was served in the room on time we requested. The staff was really kind and helpful. They arranged scooters for us on a very short notice and also arranged cars to drop us back to the ferry harbor. The rooms were clean and is very family friendly. There is an Indian restaurant close by which was really great for our family as we preferred vegetarian food.

The staff were very friendly, they arranged us a pickup and drop off to the port. It was quite and peaceful, the room is surrounded by trees with birds singing. The location isn’t bad (you will need a scooter to move around the island though) The breakfast was ok, we have been offered a complimentary juice.

Some butter or jam could habe been offered with the toast. There was a little water leakage from the button of the toilet. A little table to place the toilet amenities could have been installed to the toilet, (we had to leave it on the floor).
