We had a brief but peaceful stay at Abasan Hill Hotel and Spa. The room was extremely spacious and very comfortable, the bed was perfect. The pool is large, clean and surrounded by greenery which felt relaxing - use mosquito spray if you take a dip in the evening! The restaurant was essential for our visit as the hotel is in quite a remote area and there didn’t appear to be any other options nearby - the roads are also difficult for cars to travel down. We really appreciated having the restaurant and the evening meal we had was delicious. Breakfast is served until 10am but I would recommend not turning up between 9:30-10am as they start to close the service. The staff still kindly made us smoothie bowls and drinks, but the normal service had finished by 9:45am. The staff were all lovely - super welcoming and friendly and on hand to help. The lady at reception was particularly nice and always welcomed us with a big smile. If we were ever to return to Nusa Penida, we would certainly book again. Definitely recommend for a relaxing and comfortable stay :)

It was slightly tricky to reach as it was quite remote and the roads are bumpy but we still managed to book taxis so it was okay.

The hotel is a gorgeous place, and the rooms are delightful to stay in. The pool and the restaurant have great views and so did our room. The windows are huge and look out over the jungle. The hotel restaurant is very good, and we loved the breakfast. The staff is very accommodating and easy to reach out to via WhatsApp if you have questions while you're out and about. The location is as described. Nusa Penida is a cliff island, so the roads are a little wild if you're not accustomed to them. This is nothing against the hotel because we chose this location for the more secluded experience. I'm glad the taxi drivers are experienced on these roads.

Such a nice hotel with a cool vibe! Thanks everybody, the staff is super 🫶 We took the suite and it’s really worth it to chill after freediving/diving or exploring the island. The restaurant is really good and the vibe is so relaxing, out of big resorts or the city. Pool is clean and there is a tiny cute female dog always looking for cuddles Nofal came till the harbour to get the money we stupidly forgot to pay for one dinner. Such a nice lady and so kind, thank you very much!!!🙏❤️

The property is just like in the pictures!!! We were truly amazed! And it’s surrounded by nature. The pool was comfy and with a view to nature. The room was clean and modern but still had that comfy feeling of a cabin in the woods. It was truly amazing!! The staff were very kind to us and always happy, smiling and friendly. The breakfast was truly delicious and ENOUGH! I don’t know why some reviews suggested otherwise but there was enough food! There’s a store nearby and restaurants! You won’t regret the area one bit. We rented a scooter and basically drove around the whole island and this hotel is located 15-16min from the harbour. So it’s the perfect location.

The pool wasn’t very clean. There were dead flies and other bugs in it just floating around. It wasn’t very hygienic. The bathroom was a little bit… bad. The toilet was moving and there were some white stains in the shower. The wifi wasn’t very good either, if you work online/remote job prepare yourself!

As everywhere on the island there is unfortunately a lot of trash everywhere, so also around the hotel, which is ofc not their fault. Further the road, was as expected and mentioned by others a bit rough, however with a scooter we didn't have any problems getting there.

Really great service from the personel, who was Always helpfull and caring for us. They Always askes about our day and put on a service few can match. The place was great, dont worry when the Road there feels a bit rough, the end is great If you stay here, you have to say hi to the cutest cat Ralf. Ralf was such a mood setter and we loved him.

The staff were excellent , especially De Ardana who went out of his way to ensure we had everything we needed . We stayed in the presidential suite which had huge windows in the bathroom which we loved .

There wasn’t anything we didn’t like really . If I had to say one thing , it would be that the bath could do with replacing .

5 star stay. Beautiful Villas, Very Private, Clean Rooms, Nice Pool, Tasty Breakfast & the staff went above and beyond. Yando was amazing to deal with & helped us out alot. He was very professional & kind. Thank you!

It’s a good hotel! The problem is the location. If you have big luggage, please ask hotel to arrange transportation. We only had backpacks. We went through a very little and hidden path according to google map. It’s fun!

A very nice hotel! We apreciate the warm welcoming with scented napkins, juice and fruits. Thank you very much for the honeymoon surprise we really loved it. The pool view is just stunning, we didn’t even need to go outside for dinner the hotel restaurant was very delicious.
