We really enjoyed our stay! Beautifully designed suits facing a breathtaking panorma o ean view! The hotel staff are exceptional and go beyond their way to make your stay comfortable. Only one feedback would be to allow the guests use the infinity pool longer than 7:00 pm :) Nothing to complain really! We recommend and hope to be back one day!

We stayed in the Royal villa and couldn’t fault our experience. Having explored the island and seen some of the other hotels, we were so happy with our choice. You’re unlikely to get a hotel of this quality in any other areas. The island is quite spread out so there’s only a few places where you can actually walk to restaurants and you certainly wouldn’t get these incredible views. It was so easy to grab a shuttle to reception and we were always able to grab a taxi through the hotel at a good price. The staff were incredible and so accomodating and helpful. If we ever come back to Nusa Penida, we will definitely be staying in this villa again.

The hotel is beautiful!! Perched on a cliff with beautiful gardens and the VIEW... WOW! We stayed 10 nights (most people stay 2-3 nights max, we're told) and we ate at the hotel everyday. The menu is extensive and the food was amazing! One of the best Mie Goreng we had in Bali and they have great Cocktail/Mocktail options! We opted for the afternoon tea package, just to see what it was about, not thinking much about it but we found ourselves looking forward to it everyday after our morning dives! There were a small family of monkeys hanging out in the trees behind the restaurant which we enjoyed watching everyday. The dive/snorkelling site right in front of the hotel, called Toya Pakeh (only accessible by boat) is one of the most beautiful, colourful and healthy reef I've seen in my 20+ yrs diving. I strongly recommend to ask the dive/boat operator to take you at slack tide because the current can be quite strong otherwise. We saw turtles, a big tuna, lots of macro life as well. We even saw a big pod of dolphins swim by from our room balcony one morning. We also tried the couples balinese massage, recommend 100%! The staff... we can't say enough about the staff! They were so kind, from the servers, the reception staff to the gardeners and the cleaning staff! Everybody just stopped doing whatever they're doing just to greet you and making sure you're having the best stay! Learning a few Indonesian/Balinese words before hand goes a long way and the staff seemed happy that we tried and thought us more too! Service with a smile, always :)

The bathroom floor gets very slippery and we kept tripping on the loose big pebbles between the concrete slabs. There were no closets in the rooms (there are closets in the big villas). But I guess if most people only stay 2-3 nights it wouldn't matter as much. We like quiet places so this hotel was perfect for us as it is far from the busy strip but it's quite the bumpy and narrow road to get to town. We were going to rent scooters like we did in Amed but changed our minds after seeing the road. Getting a ride to town can get pretty pricey if you want to go often.

Not close to anything felt a bit stuck. Food and drinks were expensive. Was a steep climb from the restaurant/pool area back to the room. They charge a fee to deliver room service

Our stay at Pramana Resort and Spa was amazing, thanks entirely to the incredible team that made us feel truly welcomed from the moment we arrived. The staff’s kindness, authenticity, and professionalism were the heart of this experience—every interaction felt genuine and full of care. We shared laughs over meals, conversations that linger, and beautiful acoustic nights that were a surprise highlight of the trip. Tasya and the bartender/musician brought such joy and positive energy, even encouraging us to take part in open mic night, which became one of our favorite memories. We also appreciated how tours and services were offered in a helpful, never pushy way, allowing us to choose what felt right for us. The spa treatment was a lovely, relaxing treat—fairly priced and well-executed. Special thank you to Pramana staff Artha, Tasya, and Deki, and all the warm-hearted staff whose names we wish we had caught—your energy made our stay exceptional. All in all, this was a heartfelt and memorable stay—we’re leaving with full hearts, gratitude, and stories we’ll talk about for a long time.

A couple of things to note: our pre-arranged pickup service fell through last minute, but the team apologized sincerely and offered extended massage time as a gesture, which we appreciated. The remote cliffside location is absolutely breathtaking, but getting around does require planning, especially if you’re not confident on a scooter. While all breakfast options were enjoyable, the rest of the food didn’t meet the same high standard—we often ate offsite after giving it a try. That said, the staff’s incredible service made up for it and we look forward to returning again in the future.

*Staff*: people were very friendly, helpful and generally nice to be around! It's not just management - everyone made us feel like we are among friends! (Artha was the manager that oversaw our stay and was very helpful and friendly) *Room*: looks amazing (the decor was lovely), was spotless, the view was incredible and the amenities were great (great bathroom consumables!) *Pool area*: infinity-style, and the fact it is built on a cliff creates an even better illusion of connection with the ocean than other pools. The fact it has a direct view to Bali and mount Batur is making it even more incredible! *Spa*: we had the best massages of our lives here! And the entire process of the spa reception and info sheet we fill in is very professional! *Food*: we always eat as local or regional as possible, and the food we tried here was very tasty and good looking *Position*: we saw that there are reviews on booking.com stating the cliff positioning (and the required climbing that comes with it) as a disadvantage. We disagree, as we believe this creates the opportunity for some much required, healthy movement. And, as stated before, the positioning creates many advantages related to views and quietness!

We had such a wonderful experience at this hotel – we would come back in a heartbeat! From the moment we arrived, every single staff member was incredibly welcoming, kind, and professional. No matter what we needed, they were always happy to help – you can call the reception at any time and even have food from the restaurant delivered straight to your room. The rooms are beautiful, clean, and offer stunning views! A special mention goes to the amazing women working at the restaurant and by the pool. By the second day, they already knew our room number and even remembered our food preferences – such attentive, heartfelt service! I’m vegan and every special request was met with genuine friendliness and care. I never once felt like I was being a burden – quite the opposite. The kindness and attention to detail were deeply felt. Tasya, in particular, made us feel so welcome from the very beginning. Her warmth and the way she shared insights about the local culture really touched us – she was a highlight of our stay. We also want to thank Ryan, who drove us around the hotel grounds with the buggy. He was cheerful and helpful, and even recommended a fantastic local snorkelling provider – such a thoughtful touch! Even the manager personally came to say goodbye and asked for honest feedback, which showed true commitment to hospitality and growth.

The service, the rooms, and the cleanliness were flawless. However, it’s good to know that this hotel is located in a more secluded area – perfect for rest and relaxation, but not ideal if you’re looking for a busy town vibe right outside your door. As a vegan guest, I would have loved a bit more variety in the breakfast – especially a good plant-based protein option like a tofu. You can always request it separately, and the kitchen is more than happy to prepare it, but you have to pay it extra.

A Perfect Stay, absolutely recommendable! We had a truly wonderful stay at this hotel and can wholeheartedly recommend it. From check-in to check-out, everything was exceptionally well organized. The service was consistently friendly, helpful, and reliable. There was always a very positive atmosphere, and we were warmly welcomed with a smile every single time. We had great conversations with the entire team and always felt comfortable and genuinely welcome. We were also assigned a personal service agent named Ryan, who went above and beyond in his role. He was always available to answer any questions and provided excellent advice. Messages and calls were responded to promptly at all times. Our requests were always taken seriously and fulfilled, which made our stay especially pleasant. The Balinese massage at the spa was by far the best we’ve ever experienced – incredibly professional and deeply relaxing. Special thanks to the masseuses Meika and Koming for their outstanding work! The restaurant offered a wide variety of delicious dishes – both traditional Balinese cuisine and international options. No need to worry about “Bali Belly,” as everything was spotlessly clean and only filtered drinking water was used in food preparation. The meals were of high quality and absolutely delicious. We also booked the romantic dinner for two and were absolutely thrilled. The setting was beautifully decorated with flowers, my fiancée received a lovely bouquet, we had a dedicated private server, and professional photos of the evening were taken and sent to us. (Many thanks to Artha!) Our room was spotless, well-equipped, luxurious, and offered a breathtaking view of the infinity pool and the ocean. Despite the high standard, the price was very fair for what was provided. We felt completely at ease and will definitely return. There is absolutely nothing we have to complain about!

This was our second time staying at this beautiful hotel, and once again, it exceeded all our expectations. We came back not only because the hotel itself is stunning, but also because the service was truly exceptional, just like the first time. We were warmly welcomed by Widia, which immediately made us feel at home. In our room, we found a lovely note, fresh flowers on the bed, and even a welcome cake, such thoughtful touches that really make a difference. Throughout our stay, we were taken great care of by Ayu, Wiyakni, Tasya, and Mira. They were all incredibly friendly, attentive, and professional. Everything was simply perfect once again. Thank you for another unforgettable stay, We’re already dreaming of a third visit!

The room was superb: spacious, clean and confortable. We liked the outdoor balcony with a great sunset view. The bathroom (bathtub) was amazing. All the products (shampoo, shower gel et ) smelt divine. The views from the property were incredible. The infinity pool was beautiful. Food was delicious and they even made a take away breakfast so we could go on an early snorkelling trip. Loved the fact they are very sustainable. Staff were all so friendly ans helpful. Our fast boat got cancelled and they helped us sort an alternative.

The taxi fares to/from the harbour are quite pricey. Would be lovely to offer a latte for the afternoon tea.
