A darling little guesthouse with excellent facilities and very attentive staff. The whole premises are quite compact but much cuter inside than I was expecting. The pool is lovely and well maintained and the breakfast service was excellent. The bathroom is set up in such a way that there is one "wet room" containing the toilet and shower, and then the sink is outside in the main bedroom. This didn't bother me and is a pretty standard set up in this part of the world but some people may not like it so it is something to be aware of. Security could be an issue as the main door is left completely open during the day, with only a key lock to your room. This could be improved with a locked front door with either swipe card or PIN access. Very well located centrally in Sanur - easy to walk directly down the road to the main street and beachfront (about 10 min).

It was our first time travelling to Bali, and decided to stay in Sanur at Kembali Guesthouse due to the great reviews, location and affordability. Well, we chose well. From the moment I booked, communications were impeccable. I was so surprised by the level of attention and service, from organising a driver for airport pick up, to organising travel and tickets for the fast boat to Gill. They were so helpful and accomodating, and this was all even before we (my daughter and I) arrived. Communication was fast and prompt, and being our first time in Bali, I appreciated so much all the help and advise provided. We arrived at nighttime. The place was so cute and beautiful, green, lush. Big wooden doors upon arrival. Ayu, whom I had previously been communicating with via WhatsApp, came out of the reception area- she was expecting us and welcomed us warmly. Our luggages were taken to our rooms, which had been prepared for our arrival. A beautiful pond with koi fish at the entrance, a cute path with the swimming pool in the middle. Ambience lights on, a beautifully scented citronella coil burning… the perfect arrival. Our room had been prepared, cooling air con was on, fan on ceiling available, lamps on. A big, comfortable, clean bed in the middle with veils on the side to cover in case of mosquitoes (which we never had), an ample and beautifully decorated room with plenty of storage, 2 bamboo chairs, a bathroom with a separate shower. It was an inviting, big room, we truly felt so welcomed and I knew we had made the right choice booking in here. Throughout our stay, we booked in two different rooms as we couldn’t get the same one for our dates. This one was the Superior King room, our preferred one. We also stayed in the King room with the balcony, which as the name suggests, has a cool balcony with your own daybed and your own table and chairs. The bed in this one is similar to the King superior (no veils though) and feels quite cosy.

Anita at Reception was very welcoming and Wayan made us a lovely breakfast. My friend was a little unwell, so she brought a breakfast tray to our room for my friend. I ate in the pool area, which is always perfect. Thank you Wayan and Anita.

The only small thing is that I would have liked a handrail at the very bottom section of the stairs in our 2 level suite. The handrail starts a short way from the ground floor.

Kembali Lagi is a hidden gem! It exceeded our expectations. We stayed in the family suite, which was huge and could have served us well for a week or more. I'm sad we only stayed for three nights. The small guest house is packed with lovely Indonesian antiques and charm! The location is just far enough off the very busy bypass so there is no ambient traffic noise, and it's a close 5 minute walk to the main street of Sanur. The breakfast is modest, but perfect. One lady prepares your entire breakfast--the best coffee, a plate of fresh tropical fruit, pandan crepes stuffed with coconut, and eggs to order. The entire staff was lovely, helpful, and happy to offer recommendations about Sanur.

I have no constructive/negative feedback to offer. I hope to stay here again!

New, clean and good AC, comfortable bed and pillows . Lovely breakfast and staff. Nice walk to the coastal walkway- we rented bikes which made everything nice and close. Carla's spa just up the road.

The room I thought I was booking appeared luxurious the room I got was TINY- my mistake but misleading. The deluxe double is so small that once the suitcases were in there was no space to walk around the bed. It didn't work for us with a toddler. Also mosquitos get into the room easily through the cracks around the sliding doors etc.

Loved my stay at Kembali Lagi - from the outset the communication was amazing and the very warm welcome when I arrived rather late on the first evening made me feel very much at home. My room was cute, spotlessly clean and perfect for one guest... if there are two of you maybe book one of the larger rooms which have a lovely inside sitting area that faces out to the communal swimming pool. The staff were so friendly and attentive, they truly made me feel special and the cabana at the back of the pool area was a great place to chill out and relax after a day of cruising around Sanur on my bicycle (kindly organised by Kembali Lagi). Breakfast was included and it was delicious fresh and very satisfying. Will definitely stay again.

Beautiful, relaxing and welcoming place to stay for a few days in sanur. Pool, patio and breakfast were a highlight. Staff were friendly and helpful.

Sewerage system was struggling whilst I was there. I'm sure it's just the general poor sewerage system of the area, but having raw sewerage back up into the toilet wasn't a good visual nor smell. Bit of a walk down a quiet street/Alley to get to the main area. As a solo female traveller I wasn't that keen to walk that distance alone at night, so needed to catch a motorbike when going out of an evening. Was fine during the day though.

It is a really cute and small guest house. Room was big enough and well decorated. There were not too many guest, which made it more quiet/private. Pool area was really nice and quiet, although there wasn't much space to sit by the pool which you can see from the photos. Breakfast was tasty but there wasn't too much variety, which was probably not ideal for a longer stay. Staff was friendly and helpful. They booked a 1 day tour to different temples for me, which was absolutely amazing.

Guest house is located in a narrow street which gets dark at night, and might feel a bit uncomfortable/unsafe. Bathroom had a little window but there was humidity and it smelled like damp. I agreed a late check-out at 2pm before arrival, but once I was there I was told they couldn't do that and the maximum I could stay was 1pm. It was ok, but it just felt like there was a bit miscommunication between the team.

My room was perfect size and provided all I needed for a comfortable stay. The accommodation was located in back street of community which were good to explore. The neighborhood felt safe to walk around day or night. I appreciated the local food cafe around the corner for takeaway. The staff were very helpful in booking my activities. I was offered many recommendations for restaurants, bars and tours which I appreciated and followed up. This was super helpful. The staff were easy to converse with either face to face or via Whatsapp. The breakfast was a highlight and available early.

Would have like the option of making a cup of tea in my room. My pillow was a little too big.
