Great location, 2.min walk to beach. Lovely peaceful seating and relaxing pool area. Staff very friendly. Lovely balcony at room. Great size rooms

Bathroom could do with a reno, shower curtain mouldy. Internet had alot of issues needs updating.

Bit expensive as the decor in the rooms has not changed in 9 years, bathrooms need an update. They have gone back to small fridges.☹

I thought the breakfast was good but there could have been better selections and more options. The staff were amazing! Friendly, cordial, accommodating, typical of the culture, very impressive to say the least! The grounds were immaculate and well taken care of. The pool was perfect, the room was great except I thought the bathroom was a little dated and could have used some upgrades. I noticed that the drain in the shower was really slow to drain. The toilet was in need of some repairs. In general I was pleased with my first time stay and I would come back. A little effort on upgrades would go a long way in the bathroom for me.

As I explained my only issue was the bathroom as it pertained to the toilet, drain and the counter sink area.

I didn't like this place at first but after two nights, it really grew on me. It's actually a lovely private little compound. The setting is lovely and you could easily hang all day by the pool. The room (junior suite) was nice and the bed was very comfy. We hired scooters so we could easily head out into the urban jungle of Sanur which was exciting. We are brekkie at the resort one morning, but found it more fun to go and explore. I'd probably book a larger room if I went back but I got what was available and it was fine - we enjoyed it.

The bathroom is as people say the mole on the otherwise perfect complexion of this place. It didn't actually bother me, because it's Bali. However stepping out of the bath from the shower seems like an unnecessary risk to expose dumb tourists to after too much Bintang. Also dead flies in the lamps were off putting but don't look in my home bathroom because you might find dame. The staff I encountered at the front desk were a little unhelpful, but also I imagine they just hate tourists and all our requests. The guys at the pool bar were lovely.

The pool and garden area are lovely. Staff are warm, helpful and friendly.

I can’t understand why a hotel that has so much emphasis on the outside cannot bring the inside of the rooms up to scratch. I arrived late at night after an international flight. The first room had a broken airconditioner, so I asked to change rooms. Fortunately, there was another room. I accepted that but realised later that it had a problem with mould on the walls and I could feel myself coughing. The next morning I moved again, back to the room I stayed in last year. That room is clean, but as per last year, the bathroom tiles need a good clean, or preferably replacing.

This was a lovely relaxed hotel. There was just the two of us that stayed here. It felt very traditional Balinese with the building, furniture and the music to create this vibe. It was a short walk to the beach front where there is plenty of restaurants and cafes, and also to the main street where there is some great shopping and cheap spas. The breakfast was sufficient, not too big, it was a healthy serving with fresh fruit every day. The pool and the gardens were beautiful. All the staff were very helpful and cheerful. It was a very pleasant stay

Our room had a damp smell. The bathroom needs attention, better ventilation would help. It was quite small. Other than that it was a super relaxing place to stay for me and my daughter.

Loved the smallness of this boutique hotel.. there was plenty of gardens and space so you really don’t see other guests much.. the pool was lovely especially after a morning out n about. The location is fantastic.. in a culdesac 5 minutes to beach one way and Main Street the other though never heard any traffic or noise. The only thing I thought was the bathrooms were a little dark and dirty.. a good scrub is what’s needed!! Would definately stay again Staff are fabulous and brekkie enjoyable each day by the pool and gardens Wifi was dippy.

Bit more like the original Bali, staff lovely, clean pool,basic breakfast but 5/6 options, this is not high end buffet bfasts but very sufficient Room cleaned every day, not sure why some people have put bad reviews about the place, it is not adv as 4+star. Great spot away from the noise but only 2min walk to beach and all the cafe/restaurants you could want.

Perfect for a couple of days based at the hotel and lounging by the pool, which is all we needed at the end of a long holiday in Bali and Lombok.

Sanur beach fell below my expectations; the lagoon mentioned in guides as great for swimming and paddleboarding is there but the tidal range is vast, meaning at low tide there is no water to enjoy. Yu can have a very long walk or jog or cycle though, along a purpose built promenade, which does get busy with others doing just that.

We loved the location, the gardens and the pool area. The rooms are comfortable and although the bathroom could use a renovation, it has everything you need.

We love this hotel but there could be some improvements to make it excellent. The main one is the cleanliness in the rooms: there were stains on the walls that could easily be washed off, the sheets and pillowcases weren’t very clean, corners in the rooms with dust etc. We noticed the staff only have time to do a surface clean when servicing the rooms. I recommend the owners invest in more staff or maybe paying the staff a higher rate, as some of them didn’t seem very happy or have time to do everything they need and that is reflected in the service. Because this hotel is in a beautiful location and has a lovely vibe and it could easily be excellent. We will be back but we hope it continues to improve.
