Good location, beautiful garden and pool, comfortable and spacious villa, good attention to small but important details e.g., afternoon tea at 4.00, chocolates and bottled water left on the bed in the evening with slippers laid out beside the bed. Sunscreen, aloe vera and mosquito repellant products were available in the bathroom.

With only 8 villas and expensive rates, we thought the pool and garden would be quieter than it turned out to be. Four of the villas can sleep up to 4 children and two adults in each villa, so on our second day we found three families (11 children) were using 16 of the 18 sun beds beside the pool. The pool rules of no diving or jumping and being considerate to other guests were not enforced, so we had no option but to retreat into our villa or seek a quieter spot in a nearby cafe down the road. Sometimes the garden maintenance also interfered with the peace and quiet we had hoped for, e.g., sweeping could start an hour before sunrise and grass cutting with noisy electric motors could take as long as 2 hours.

Great place to rest and relax. The rooms are fully equipped from the kitchenette to the bathroom. The bed is very comfortable. The resort offers great food, an amazing breakfast with a large selection, delicious coffee and everything you can think of. The staff is very willing and helpful to solve your every wish. We were really very satisfied. The entire resort is neat and clean and constantly cared for. The massages were amazing. It was a big surprise for us that in such a small space there is everything we needed and we enjoyed our stay very much

Klumpu is a small but incredible resort, with amazing attention to detail that makes you feel so welcomed and so well looked after. It’s the little things, like the flowers placed in your room, the immaculate gardens and pool, the water and chocolates delivered to your room at night, the great coffee, the candles around the pool at night, the friendly smiles from the staff, the silky sheets, the supplied insect repellent and sunscreen, the robes, the welcome drink on arrival, the free use of bikes…all these things and more that make it feel like so much care has been put into every detail to make your stay more special. It’s quiet and peaceful and so beautiful. If you’re not sure about booking, this is a strong recommendation to book!

The only slight down side is the distance to the beach. Only a 10 minute walk or 5 minute ride, down two alleys and a short stretch of main road. The main road was very busy sometimes, so we walked the bikes on the footpath.

The staff were amazing! Kind, caring, excellent service with a smile👌Beautiful little hut house, with lovely breakfast and water & choclates every evening. It was my husband’s birthday and they came with chocolate cake, and song all beautifully presented! We had massage which was wonderful and rode the free bikes along the beach.

It could be noisy if some guests weren’t thoughtful. An aussie family were particularly loud and ignorant to other’s peace. Just shouting, drinking and getting louder. As the pool area is small, you need to be aware of this. There is one lovely swimming pool only, with 8 x guest houses. We stayed for 10 days and luckily that family left after a couple of days. Other families were nice and behaved normally with courtesy. I think really due to the size it would be better as an “Adults only” residence. The kids play ball alot in the pool and then not much room for swimming.

A tropical oasis! In a quiet location, this a hidden, 5 star gem! A short walk from all the main areas/beach of Sanur. Just 8 beautiful, spacious Balinese bungalows are furnished to a high standard with a touch of luxury and comfort! Toiletries & hairdryer provided. Great water pressure, large comfortable bed and efficient air conditioning. Breakfast was fabulous - A main menu to choose one option from, in addition to juice, tea/coffee and a fresh fruit platter. All served at your choice of location: private terrace, poolside or at the small restaurant on site. The staff are wonderful! You are made to feel special. Nothing is too much trouble for them. Beds are put back at night with chocolates and slippers by your bed. They really do go the extra mile! The small pool is within the tropical gardens and sufficient to take a dip/cool off. The sunbeds by the pool are modern & very comfortable with towels provided. A fabulous place to read or simply relax. A great, free 15-min Massage was included on site. An amazing choice for couples to relax in luxury!

Noisy children around the pool. Klumpu Bali Resort is not suitable for younger children. There are no facilities for children. Adults paying for a quiet relaxing experience do not welcome noisy, screaming children at the pool etc.

Perfect location down a quiet lane way yet a short walk to the beach,restaurants and shopping.Staff were very friendly and offered great service.We appreciated the airport shuttle service.Breakfast was great.We enjoyed relaxing by the pool.Alot of Nice details such as the turn down service and afternoon tea

We were disappointed and surprised at the linen used on the bed,it was very old looking with many stains.We also noticed the bed was very old,it was reasonably comfortable but felt it didn't reflect the premium rating the hotel has..There was also a slight musty smell on arrival.We purchased a room spray to disguise it.Apart from this our stay would have been perfect.

The staff were very kind and attentive. I loved the drink and snack on arrival and chocolates and water in the evening. Lots of little thoughtful touches. The rooms are large and very clean, beds are so comfortable. They only have 8 lodges/huts, it's quite small but that means they spend extra time going above and beyond for our needs. The food is very tasty. Transfers to/from the airport. They supply suncream and insect repellent in the bathrooms and also give you a little gift when you check out. I would definitely recommend this resort and will definitely stay here when we return to Bali :)

Amazing! Pictures are not justifying the look and feel of the resort. You will not regret staying at the property. At arrival you get a voucher for a 15 minute massage, breakfast can be taken at any day of the time and can be served on the property where ever you like, afternoon tea/coffee is complementary and there is a gift ready for you when you leave. They thought about every detail to make a guest as comfortable as possible. At free bikes gives you the possibility to explore Sanur from every angle. Amazing location.

The resort was tucked away from the busy tourist strip, which we loved. The resort has only eight villas, which made it quiet and very relaxing. The staff were all exceptionally lovely and friendly and we loved all the food, the amazing breakfasts and looked forward to afternoon tea everyday! We also enjoyed taking the bikes out for a ride along the beach. Everything was very comfortable and clean, including the pool which our 10-year-old particularly enjoyed. It was truly one of the best holidays we have had as a family in a long time so thank you so much for having us Klumpu. We look forward to visiting again!

Klumpu is a real hidden gem. Small, quiet, friendly and peaceful. The whole property is so well cared for, and the staff clearly take great pride in what they do. We enjoyed the food, the massages, the cool pool, the excellent air conditioning, and the complimentary toiletries (including sun cream, after sun, mosquito repellent, toothbrushes). The gardens are beautifully maintained, and create such a lovely vibe. It’s a fun place with children (sleeping on the mezzanine was a big highlight for my children!). Sanur can be hectic, but coming back here after a shopping trip was like returning to a serene slice of heaven!
