The property was beautifully designed and spacious with gorgeous courtyard, swimming pools and access to the beach. Breakfast was amazing and we loved that it was served a la cart instead of buffet with no food wasted and always served freshly made.

The only thing we struggled with was the so called “couch” in the room. We checked in with two 5 year old kids under the understanding that there will be a double bed and a fold out couch. The couch was just a “love seat” for one and it was impossible to put a child on it. The hotel was generous enough to give us one additional fold out bed for free, but it still meant that we had to have one child with us in the bed. So, my only suggestion would be to have a proper fold out couch that turns into a double bed. The room is spacious enough to accommodate that. It will make a world of difference for families traveling with small (but not babies) children.

The property was absolutely gorgeous. It was clean, luxurious and takes your breath away. The breakfast experience was the best we had in Bali.

I didn’t like that when I ordered something to the room that the things didn’t come together but apart and we had to wait for each delivery to come, even though I ordered the stuff at the same time. The main pool was bombarded with kids pool toys with loads of kids when the kids pool was empty! I feel like the money I paid for our stay could not be enjoyed as we could not relax and enjoy the pool area. The check in and check out process took an hour which became dragged out and annoyed - a faster process will be welcomed.

Spacious rooms with an eye for details and humongously large bed. Delicious breakfast with vegetarian options. Three pools. Very friendly staff helping with whatever was required. Gym next door at Hyatt Regency. We'll be back :)

as soon as I entered the resort, I could already tell it was going to be a great stay. place was so nice and zen. all the staff members were super amazing and friendly. room layout was perfect and they were super clean. love that they also provide bath bombs?! unfortunately, we didn't get the chance to try out the spa.

just 2 minor things, 1 was the food at breakfast being quite bland. although there was a huge selection/variety, most of them were quite underwhelming. the pates were questionable and cheese selection was quite bad. the only things we liked at breakfast were the juices, matcha latte and "indonesian dish of the day" which was the babi guling. they looked pretty though and made for nice instagram posts lol. i normally don't expect much from hotel breakfasts anyway. no2 was the fact that we had to walk to the lobby to fetch our gojek deliveries instead of being able to get them sent to our room. not a big issue as it probably helps get our steps up anyway.

The resort really lived up to our expectations. Great room, we had a Suite with direct access to the lagoon. The suite was great and spacious. Room number 4101, a corner room with much privacy and a lovely lagoon access, also with much privacy. Recommend it! Breakfast from a meny was tasteful with many options.Dinner at the Fishermen's was superb. Recommend Fresh Lobster and the Seafood plate with Oysters. No trouble to find nice sun beds. Please notice that Andaz is a "child friendly" resort, and I can assure you, there are quite a lot of them! The hotel is very clear about this so this would not come as any surprise when booking. But do not worry. We stayed as a couple without kids and did never find that the kids and noice where of any problem. The area is so large with many spots and there is always place to find a nice restful place. So do not worry if you travel without kids. Maybe the best place to stay in Sanur.

On arrival the welcome is warm, and friendly, smooth check in process. Great reception area, with a large welcoming courtyard. Loved how close it was to the beach and associated shops, and restaurants.

The coffee ! But I am a coffee snob. So not sure if that is a negative. Sometimes the wait for the breakfast in the morning was longer than you may feel acceptable, but that's down to getting in there early enough, Breakfast offering is exceptional tbh.

This is a hotel like no other I've stayed in before. It has 3 restaurants located around a central courtyard which they call the Village Marketplace. You can have breakfast, lunch and dinner from 1 or all 3 restaurants whilst sat in any of the restaurants. The whole place is beautiful - from the rooms, the public areas, the pools, beach, reception area etc. There is also a place which serves free tea, coffee and snacks 10am-10pm each day, bike rentals and towels for the beach are also free, with some classes you can take (e.g. yoga, aqua aerobics etc). Our room was huge with a wall which could open up to connect the bedroom to the giant bath tub, or close for privacy. The spa is next door at the Grand Hyatt and there is a little buggy cart that drops you off. That was also stunning and we had an excellent Balinese massage there!

This place cost x3-4 times more than other hotels we stayed in Bali. There are definitely places which are also beautiful and also great locations for a lower cost. However if you're thinking of a special occasion or want a unique experience, it's worth trying. We went for a special birthday and I have no regrets, the best hotel I've ever stayed in!

The room on the lagoon was beautiful. Spectacular large bathroom. Breakfast was wonderful.

AC could have worked better; but the staff did fix it so that it was ok.

beautiful property in a beautiful setting. The hotel is located on the beachfront, with a 5km walkway with other hotels and restaurants along the beach path. This is a beautiful beach walk we did in the mornings and caught the cool breeze off the sea which was so lovely. We stayed in a garden villa with pool, which was stunning. The staff were amazing and really looked after us. There was one evening where the service was not great in one of the restaurants and the assistant Food & Beverage manager Dharma was incredibly apologetic and went out of his way to compensate, offering us complimentary breakfast (which was amazing) and a late check out to suit our flight time. We had a wonderful time in this idyllic location and can wholeheartedly recommend the Andaz.

Stunning boutique hotel which is more intimate and luxurious than the grand Hyatt next door. The pool is on the beach with great cabanas and an amazing seafood restaurant with great cocktails. The grounds are beautiful and the staff have unique and cool uniforms and overall the resort has a luxurious, calm and intimate feel to it. They let us use the facilities until our flight. The main restaurant had amazing Korean and other Asian food. The adults pool, spa, gym, sauna area is exceptional. Would come back but stay in a normal room not a villa.

We stayed in a one bedroom villa and having been to Bali a few times the villa was not worth the money. You can get the same layout or bigger for much less in other resorts. The decor and design of pool area of the villa which part of is just a blank concrete wall is disappointing for 5 star (see pic). You also can’t get cocktails delivered to the villa, just other drinks. Haven’t had that at other resort villas. The round sun bed doesn’t fit two people. Lounges would be better. The snacks are replaced but with the exact same thing. Breakfast was ok. I would stay in a standard room next time. Not worth it.
