The location is very close to Ubud center. The rooms are very nice. The staff was helpful in every way. The breakfast was also good. The price-benefit balance is very good.

There was nothing we didn't like about it. It was ideal for us.

Loved everything about this place. A nice, calm, serene place in the middle of Ubud but still next to a farm which is nice and beautiful. What we liked the most was how the staff were so polite and took care of all our wishes. The room ( we used two rooms - a suite, with a bathtub and semi open bathroom) and a deluxe room( with a beautiful balcony). We loved both rooms. The breakfast is not a big buffet but something you have to choose from a menu. We loved the food and staff were very friendly. The location is perfect for a family with young kids. The Ubud market is not very far away and you can find taxis and cars just outside. Not just, there are two convenience stores( well stocked) next to the properties, so our young ones could get want they wanted quickly. Overall, great experience!!!!

During checkout, we could not find a small teaspoon belonging to the property. I think we moved it between the rooms that we used. The cleaning staff got pretty stressed with this, and this annoyed us a bit. Once we found it, everything was okay. :-).

For the budget cost, Kiskenda Cottage far exceeded expectations. The grounds are a beautiful little oasis and the room was extremely adequate as a homebase to explore Ubud and the area. Monkey gardens were a convenient short walk, as was one of the main streets with a convenience store and restaurants just down the road. Breakfast too was generously adequate given the cheap cost of the motel.

The handmade doors and windows didn't seal well which meant mosquitoes found their way in and bug spray was a necessity. Easily overcome!

Very pleasant and friendly staff and service. They were always available to help with a smile. The breakfast options are also nice, limited but tasty. Rooms are also nice size and clean, but you can expect bugs, lizards and ants to come in due to the gaps in the door and open bathroom. Nice pool, Very convenient location, walkable distance to the market, food places, scooty hires, massage, etc. I would recommend

Only thing that can be improved is the gaps between the doors, because its very easy for insects to come. But they provided a short term fix of filling it with towels.

I had an amazing stay at Kiskenda Cottages & Restaurant. The staff were amazing, very friendly. The staff organized a trip for me, booked a taxi and ferry to the Gili T island it was a very good price too. The area is perfect, the main road at the top is far too busy and It’s a nice easy distance to walk to that part. The hotel is very close to the monkey forest and about a 10 min walk to the main street but on the way to the main street there are many restaurants and cool bars. The accommodation is perfect couldn’t fault it. The restaurant at Kiskenda Cottages is really nice and highly recommend.

Great central location, very close to various bars and restaurants. Campuhan Ridge Walk and the Monkey Forest were in walking distance. The property itself is very pretty with a nice, well-cared-for garden and pool. Our room was spacious and had everything we needed.

We stayed in a nice room on the ground floor but there were no sheer curtains. The staff that would walk past would always peek into our room, making us feel observed. The option of sheer curtains to use during the day would improve privacy a lot. We also did not appreciate the staff waking us up in the morning by knocking on our door repeatedly to ask if we needed our room cleaned.

Felt very private and quiet, yet accessible by foot to the monkey forest and lots of shops and restaurants. Our room had a cute outdoor shower, comfortable bed, and the restaurant was lovely. The pool is nice as well. Staff was helpful.

Not being able to refill our water bottles - every hotel should have a clean water dispenser for guests to refill their bottle in order to help reduce the amount of plastic bottles being used and thrown away every day.

I was travelling with my parents and Kiskenda was in an ideal location, the street was quiet filled with bars, restaurants and coffee shops. It was only a 15 minute walk to the monkey forest and where there’s other restaurants. The restaurant at the property was also great, with lots of choices! Loved that breakfast was included. You got a good spot for the sun at the pool as well if you were looking for a chill day. The staff were wonderful! They were always so helpful, especially when my dad required a doctors visit. The reception staff helped liaise initially with the doctor. It was such a great experience staying at Kiskenda cottages and I would definitely stay again.

There wasn’t anything to dislike

It is about a Km away from the centre of Ubud. Lots of eateries along the way to the center. Ubud center is the main shopping place and is a 15 min walk from the hotel. Monkey forest is just 5 min walk from the hotel. So the hotel is in a quiet and peaceful place with no noise disturbances The hotel itself is a boutique property overlooking a rice terrace. The rooms are large, comfortable and clean. There is a TV and mini refrigerator. Hot water works all the time. The breakfast provided is basic. The staff is courteous and helpful Overall an absolute value for money

The location is quite strategic, within walking distance to restaurants and the centre of Ubud. It's also quiet and spacious. Our room was on the 3rd floor, looking down to the swimming pool and rice paddy field. On our 2nd day, we got a surprise visit from a monkey, walking passing through our balcony railing.

It would be nice to have more water pressure when taking a shower. The cleaning can be improved as it was very dusty under the bed. Bed sheets and towels may need to be refreshed as they look old.
