It's a little bit old

Good evening everyone. I have stayed at this hotel for several nights! I found everything clean and tidy, and everything is available around you: restaurants, shops,. I will not forget to extend my greetings to the hotel management,, for their cooperation with me with all transparency and respect. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.

Friendly staff - all of them, security, front of house, housekeeping. Large comfortable rooms with balconies. Leisure facilities available, I haven’t used yet but they are there. Location, Ankawa is the Christian sector of Erbil which is important for me.

Maybe the breakfast isn’t Westernised enough for me but that’s my personal taste.

We stayed as a group for 3 nights and had a perfect stay. The rooms are large and comfortable and clean. The breakfast is good and has a wide range of continental and Arab food. There are two bars and they serve alcoholic drinks. The Spa is perfectly for a rest. Big thanks to friendly Oday and Alaa for their support for our group. We felt very much welcome. See you again.

My mother and I are regular clients of Ankawa Royal Hotel since 2018. We like the hotel room, friendly and helpful staff and the strategic location.

The breakfast variety was quite frugal and limited. It could have been better.

I was in Kurdistan for a total knee replacement and the hotel was ideally situated for the Hospital. That said if you were to be visiting here on a leisure break then you wine hard pushed to find a more suitable hotel Ideally situated in the Christian district and close to local bars restaurants etc.

The only criticism is that the decor could probably do with a bit of a liven up

I frequently visit Erbil and always choose this hotel, so that says a lot. Large rooms, welcoming friendly staff and a great location.

This hotels location was perfect, the staff was extremely friendly, the rooms were great. Hospitality was above and beyond, Oday at the front desk was incredibly accommodating. Recommend this hotel for anyone visiting

We were lucky to find Ankawa Hotel on booking.com back in 2018. Ever since, it became our go-to hotel because of the spacious well-equipped rooms, delicious assorted breakfast, strategic location and reasonable price.

So far, so good.
