Our stay at Murphy’s Farmhouse Guesthouse was simply perfect. From the very first moment, we felt warmly welcomed and truly at home. The guesthouse has a genuinely family-like atmosphere, which makes it stand out in the best possible way. The breakfast was local, fresh, and plentiful – exactly what you hope for to start your day. There were several delicious options, all made with regional ingredients. We especially want to highlight the hosts, who went above and beyond to ensure that no wishes were left unfulfilled. Their dedication and kindness were remarkable, and it’s clear that guest satisfaction is their top priority. We are extremely satisfied with our stay and highly recommend Murphy’s Guesthouse to anyone looking to experience true Irish hospitality at its finest.

This property was easy to find and check in was smooth and straight forward. I had been chatting with Mary prior to arriving and I found that I was given lots of useful information on the lead up to my stay which I found extremely helpful, especially as I am a solo traveller. The room I was in was perfect for me and what I was looking for, double bed and en suit, kettle facilities and a tv which I don’t normally use but took full advantage of. The bed was comfy and the shampoo and shower gel was brilliant as I didn’t think to bring these with me. Breakfast was delicious. A variety of hot made to order meals alongside cereals, fruit and juices to help yourself too. I had a full Irish breakfast and a coffee. All the staff I met along my stay were friendly, asking about my stay and informative when talking about the area and things to do. If I am ever in Dingle again I will be trying to stay here. Thanks ladies. Your home is lovely and welcoming.

Our stay at the Murphy's Farmhouse B&B was really lovely. The staff was very nice and the breakfast was wonderful (although it was not included in the rate quoted by Booking.com) Very clean and comfortable. I was sad that we only stayed at this location for 1 night. I would definitely stay here again if I have the opportunity!

I didn't realize that the cost of the breakfast wasn't included in the rate that I paid to Booking.com. Would have preferred paying this in advance and knowing that there was an extra charge for breakfast when I booked. However, the breakfast was lovely and I would definitely recommend it.

The breakfast, the rooms, comfy beds, warm shower….. every aspect of our visit was excellent. Mary went above and beyond as my husband left his raincoat in the closet of our room. We realized it as we were hiking towards Torc waterfall in the Killarney national park.. I was able to contact her through WhatsApp and ask if it was found, she replied promptly with yes…. And stated she was on her way to Killarney anyway…. We were able to connect and meet up within an hour and a half of realizing it was not here. That I say was above and beyond our expectations for sure. So grateful as he needed his raincoat for the afternoon Jaunty ride through Muckross house and grounds !!! Nothing we didnt we like

Nice family run traditional b&b in a very quiet location. Room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was good and plentiful. Was lovely to walk around the farm and the quiet surrounding area. This is a taste of rural Ireland away from the more touristy & busier towns. Two bars within a short walking distance. The Anvil was good for food while Murphys was more atmospheric for a pint and chat with locals. Only improvement suggestion is that wifi was not great in bedrooms. It was strong in the common areas though. An extender would solve that. Or maybe it’s better to not have wifi and just relax after the day of sightseeing. I was so tired it didn’t bother me.

Our room for four was surprisingly spacious, the bed was super comfortable, and everything was spotlessly clean. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming throughout our stay — always smiling and helpful. Breakfast was another highlight: homemade, delicious, and generous, with several options to choose from. We truly felt at home.

Just a small detail: the Wi-Fi didn’t reach our room very well, and since we were on the ground floor, we could hear footsteps from the room above. But nothing that ruined the experience :)

We had another delightful stay at Murphys Farmhouse B&B. We were there seven years ago and would you believe we were booked into the same exact room?? They had no idea we were there seven years previously in the same upstairs room. It was nice to see mother Mary, daughter Mary, and Eileen. Our room again this trip was very comfortable and had been redecorated. The bathroom was perfect with a great shower and very hot water and good water pressure. Their Irish breakfast is still fantastic and very filling. They had also redone the beautiful dining room. It was so great to be there again. Thank you, ladies.

Breakfast in the morning was as pleasant as could be. The staff were more than welcoming, the food was simple, ample, and tasty, perfect for an early morning. And they couldn't have been more helpful in helping to arrange transportation, even driving me one town over to catch a more convenient bus schedule.

The WiFi didn't extend throughout the property although it was available in the common rooms. A simple WiFi extender would address the issue.

The breakfast was delicious with a menu of options including a full Irish breakfast and smoked salmon, plus a buffet of yogurt, granola, homemade fruit compote, juices, croissants, etc. We updated to the room with the mountain view and got to see the sheep grazing and beautiful sunsets. The bathroom and shower were a good size with good water pressure and hot water.

The hosts were really friendly and nice. The room had everything I needed, also tea and coffee and it was very bright and clean. Breakfast was great with different freshly prepared opportunities. Good starting point for Inch Beach and also Killarney.

Because there was no window in the bathroom, it was a little bit hard to get damp out of the bathroom.
