Bed was to die for. Pillows were 100%.

I always mention the sausages and bacon. Very few hotels get them right. Sausages look deep fried full of fat and oil. Maybe bacon laid out on its side to reduce grease and oil. We stayed in the Clonakilty park hotel the following night and their black pudding was delicious. Again I think you deep fry the pudding we both remarked it tasted bad. Overall a lovely hotel with friendly staff. Location a bit out of the way but I liked the sound of the waterfall. The walkway at the waterfall looked tired. Wood breaking up. Anyway thanks for a lovely stay.

We loved the hotel - staff was super-friendly, hotel was quiet and the room was nice. Bonus that we had a tub and shower which made bathing a small child so much easier. The grounds were great to explore and it was a quick ride into downtown Kinsale.

Parking can be hard to find at night because of weddings. Maybe there should be hotel guest parking and then event parking spaces so that paying guests are guaranteed a decent spot?

Everything was great, staff,food, facilities ,view from the hotel .All of these were excellent. Could not find fault with any of these things.

It was just a little far from kinsale Town so decided just to spend the evening at the hotel. Would have liked a wander around the town but no problem, enjoyed spending the evening in the hotel with food and a few drinks.

Staff were very friendly and they had a courtesy bus from the hotel into kinsale.

There were 23 members of my family staying at the hotel and unfortunately on the Saturday morning having breakfast in the hotel the bread for toasting had mould on it and some of us got sausages that were gone off. I personally was disappointed with the bread, there was no selection of bread e.g. home made brown bread, sourdough bread,rolls etc. only sliced bread for toasting .

The spa is in a wonderful location. It has views of the adjacent bay and a lovely walking paths on the property. It also has the expected massage therapy and workout facilities One would expect in a spa.

Unfortunately, our visit coincided with a rugby sevens tournament, which was on the rugby association property, betwixt the town of Kinsale and the spa. This created some traffic challenges for the first couple of days. Taxi service in Kinsale is also pretty hit and miss with the taxis preferring to do trips in and out of Cork. Well, the hotel has a van, apparently it’s only available on weekends.

The property was set in a beautiful location great views The breakfast was good, and the staff were friendly

We were very disappointed in the spa facilities. It was a bit smelly and could’ve been more clean. We were told we needed a hat in the pool which might be the law in Ireland but we charge €2 which I feel is very shortsighted when it’s a spa facility and you’ve paid a huge amount for the Rooms . The steam room wasn’t working and the Jacuzzi only went off every half an hour. We sat there waiting for a long time before one of the local said oh it sometimes does that! We fill the hats should be complimentary.

The location and the walk to Charles fort and Kinsale. The gym and swimming pool. The room was big and comfortable Breakfast was good

Absolutely beautiful hotel with a fantastic view. The room and hotel is spotlessly clean, helpful and friendly staff and plenty of free parking. Highly recommend.

Kinsale Hotel & Spa, (June 2024) Beautiful Scenery Superb hotel with comfortable, spacious rooms, containing all the usual facilities and mod-cons. The principal feature of the room was the views of the bay and green rolling hills. The entire hotel is very relaxed and easy going. A great place to unwind or explore the local countryside, Kinsale Town or even Cork City. Breakfast was exceptional, with a full range of options from the “Irish Fry” to the light and fresh continental options. The hotel is located just outside of Kinsale Town center and took us less than ten minutes to drive. Note that the hotel has a very convenient bus to bring us into town and we then got a taxi to return late in the evening.

Modern hotel with upscale interior design. Comfortable bed, nice room, gorgeous lobby. It is nice to take a walk in the morning around the hotel or get closer to the water. There is a beautiful nature view from a restaurant. Delicious breakfast! Very nice and accommodating staff. The hotel and the room was even better than in the photo! The historical fort is minutes away from the hotel. Make a stop before the fort and walk to the North side of the fort observing a lagoon of the town.

Everything was just so perfect!
