We loved the wonderful warmth & friendliness of Carl’s greeting (son)at the front door when we arrived tired & frazzled. No request was a problem for him and by the time we’d parked the car our luggage had been carried up to our room. Peter, Rasa & J were delightful & everyone treated us like family. Rasa’s breakfasts were delicious - beautiful local fresh produce prepared with love & care. Lovely, comfortable, cosy breakfast room. Fantastic views over Kinsale Harbour. Great tips on local restaurants & food options.

The owners were so very nice and accommodating. They even went to extreme measures to help us find our lost rental car keys!! It was wonderful to have that personal, caring touch. The breakfast was great, and we had the option of ordering or eating from the buffet.

Since we are from America, we would have liked to have washcloths provided and a top sheet since the duvet was very warm.

Everything - from the outside - the facade and location appealed immediately - and once inside you can’t help but be impressed with the presentation and maintenance of the property. Our hosts were welcoming and everyone is only to eager to help make your stay as memorable as possible and it was memorable. Breakfast was plentiful and the dining room was pristine. I would do myself a favour next time and book a room with harbour views - it’s be worth it.

The property had a convenient location. It was close to town and easily walkable. The breakfast was good and the scrambled eggs were the best we had in Ireland probably cause they were cooked well done like I like them.

The room was very small with only enough room to walk around bed. Also I was not a big fan of the town Kinsale. The no parking thing was a bit of a pain although we did find a spot across in the public parking lot.

Lovely Bed and Breakfast in great location. Very clean and bright and a very spacious room. Staff were great very helpful friendly and cheerful. Nice room for all to relax away from the bedroom.

When I booked a few days in advance my payment was taken and I was then sent an email asking for driving licence. I had to produce my driving licence on arrival. Why I'm not sure as we stayed in other lovely places in Cork and this was not asked for this. Did not like the coffee from machine at breakfast would have liked proper filtered coffee.

The hotel is really charming and stylish. At the reception, we were greeted by a very friendly and excellent customer service young man. Special thanks to him! The room was large, stylish, very clean and really quiet! The room felt luxurious! The bed had down pillows and blankets. Breakfast was served in a breakfast room with a no phone ban, great!! The breakfast room was cozy, quiet and the waitres was very sunny and friendly. The breakfast was really good!

We loved everything!

Absolutely wonderful! Everything was pristine, in spite of it being a historic property. We had a lovely view of the harbor area and was nearby to walk to all the eating, gift, and tourist attractions. Parking is not on-site, but close by. At night the nearest pay/display are also free. Breakfast was scrumptious and salmon is highly recommended.

Very new clean sleek rooms in a classic old historic house. Bed was comfortable. Shower very nice. Parking is on street. After 6pm parking free till 10.30am the next morning. You will need to pay and display in the afternoons. There are a couple of totally free lots about 5-10 min walk away, but with suitcases that would be a hassle. Breakfast is above average. High quality expensive cheeses and pastries on the continental buffet. Cappuccino machine for latte, espresso, americano, etc. It's better quality coffee than the filtered drip at other guest houses. Also provides the cooked plate of full Irish breakfast. Nice guesthouse and an excellent stay in Kinsale.

parking is a hassle, but that's everywhere in Ireland.

A fantastic welcome with a homely feel. Every member of staff went above and beyond. Excellent fresh local food for breakfast with a willingness to adapt the menu.We stayed in the King room which was beautifully decorated, spacious and really clean. We will definitely return.

Breakfast cooked to order was perfect! Took care of keeping medicine that needed to be refrigerated cold for us. Always greeted us with a smiel and conversation when we came in.

Didn't like would be strong statement. We crazy Americans always pack too heavy. As we discussed with Peter, an elevator would be nice but not possible in that historic building. In lieu of that, might consider finding a bell hop to carry luggage to the top floor.
