Central location, good place for meeting with a group

Breakfast was poor. Everything was self service even making your own orange juice with a difficult to use machine. Coffee only available through a machine , and the quality was very poor. Cooked food was very salty and worst of all the brown bread was stale, dry and hard. No bowl of fresh fruit and yogurts. All of these are basic standards one would expect in a 4 star hotel. It was very disappointing .

The restaurant / bar staff were so friendly helpful and professional overall the evening meal was a great experience The meal was delicious

Food was fantastic and very good value. Included use of leisure centre and pool was a real bonus. Pool was 20m, large for a hotel, which suits me as an ex-competitive swimmer.

A couple of minor maintenance issues needed dealing with but these were dealt with promptly when they were pointed out. If periodic appliance safety checks had been carried out these issues would have been found. I asked for a document to be printed which I sent to the hotel's info email address, it was rejected by the hotel's spam filter. On speaking to the receptionist she said that that was the email address that everybody else used, there was no problem with it. Therefore I must have done something wrong, all despite checking the address on the email I had sent herself. A suggestion that she contact the hotel's IT support to have the email released was blanked. Not happy with that particular member of staff but everybody else was great.

Lovely hotel and the room was fabulous

One of the bar staff was just like he didn’t want to be there and when asking for a drink felt like we were inconveniencing him and he and one of the floor staff were arguing over the ice scoop,they were so unprofessional. There was one girl that took our food order she was lovely and helpful but I forgot to get her name. The waiting staff were not great as after we gave our orders the man that was bringing out the food brought out our mains before we even got our starter.Then when we were finished dinner it was an hour or a bit longer and our table still had not been cleared. If it had been busy I would understand but it was not,so we just went to our room as between the bad staff and lack of attention to the customers and not just us we had had enough of bad service.

Reception staff were very friendly and helpful, as were the dining and bar staff. The hotel is clearly a busy, buzzing place well utilised by tourists and locals alike, so there was an interesting mix of guests- golfers and Agricultural Show attendees as well as a wedding thrown into the mix, which made it an interesting place to be! Room was soundproof. Dining options were generous and varied. I will make special mention of Katie, one of the breakfast hosts, who does a great job.Convenient to a number of sights, e.g. Clonmacnoise and the Greenway.

Nothing really- it was a pleasant place to stay, and I would recommend it highly.

David from reception was extremely helpful and a wonderful host, helped me in check in and with billing. Excellent professional

The pool is not accessible unless you have a swimming cap. That a strange requirement nowadays but I guess they have their reasons for it and that is fine to me. While club members are aware of the requirement, hotel visitors do not normally have a swimming cap on their luggage, effectively not being allowed to use the pool. A middle ground solution will be to have swimming caps at guest disposal, I wouldn’t even mind a small charge for one. Other than that the sauna and steamer, which you can use on 21st century attire, are great and well maintained

Since last we stayed in the Tullamore Court breakfast has become completely self service, excellent choices for breakfast great variety but we still would like a pot of tea made for us not from a self service machine. Had a nice meal in the bar served by the lovely warm welcoming Ciara who looked after us to the best nothing was too much trouble for her, Ciara is a great asset to the hotel. Our room was quite large with a very comfortable bed and good lighting in the bathroom for applying make-up.

Everything being self service for breakfast especially tea from a machine. Unfortunately the bar closed at 9.45 pm on the night we stayed.

The hotel is spotlessly clean. The staff are very friendly The food was 10/10. Our server ciara in the bar was so nice she even Remembered my daughters name and my drink order on our 2nd evening there. The bar seemed to be understaffed but it didn’t take away from Ciara’s excellent service. I was disappointed to hear on arrival that the kids club was not running which I had my daughter booked into I understand there wasn’t enough children to have it on but was still disappointing they did give my daughter a complimentary meal for the inconvenience. The swimming pool was fantastic. The playground was closed on the 2 occasions we tried to go to it. Overall we had a great stay and will definitely return

That the kids club was not running however it was understandable that they didn’t have the numbers for it to go ahead. The closure of the playground was disappointing.

Hotel staff were so lovely and helpful! Granted, we did luckily get a free upgrade so we may be biased, but truly the hotel was beautiful and so were the facilities. The gym was a decent size, good for general working out, the pool was lovely as was the sauna and steam room. The room was lovely, bed was super comfortable and the shower was great! Breakfast was super yum and they had plenty of options, as did dinner

We came here during a particularly warm week and the room had no air conditioning, so we found ourselves waking up quite warm even with the fan turned on

2nd stay, nice hotel, good location. Staff are very friendly and helpful. The rooms are nice but are not being maintained at all. The beds are so uncomfortable that I just couldn't get comfortable. It's nice to have bottled water in the room as well. The breakfast is fab and lots to choose from. The leisure centre is really fab, and it's good to see a lifeguard actually on the deck watching kids in the pool. Thanks to Paddy and his colleagues, they were so friendly.

Pillows and beds are so uncomfortable. Rooms are not being maintained to a high standard. The changing room in the leisure centre is in very bad disrepair, lookers are poor and unsightly, a lot of tiles missing off the hot tub which is a pity and it was fab.
