Loved the ease of check in and friendly reception staff. Our bedroom was bigger than expected and the bed might have been the most comfortable I have EVER slept in.

On a few occasions coming into the bar the hostess was very cold with us. The staff in the bar didnt have much time for customers. We ordered deserts and tea and coffees, we had finished our desserts some 20 minutes before I eventually chased down our drinks, which we were charged in full for. I chose not to say any thing because I work in the industry and I can see a team trying but these little things make the difference!

I love the Midlands Hotel, rooms are lovely , bar is very friendly and the staff all get on so well you just know the environment is a comfortable and so flexible one for all your needs We had my sons 21st party Friday night and we have stayed the two weeks as we find it so pleasant, Joyce and her team are so professional and Sandra, Shauna and Kate helped us pull off the huge party surprise. Party foods was lovely and all our guests were happy Our room was cleaned and changed up everyday. Train station, Town centre bars and shops all 2 mins away and spa in hotel is newly refurbished and beautiful Well done Midlands Hotel!!!!

It has a fantastic 2 tier bar very spacious breakfast area and plenty of options. Staff were very welcoming and rooms were modern very clean and spacious. Also the cleaning staff that clean the rooms were very prompt in their duty and like to give them a special metion as well.

The heating was not on when we arrived, we rang reception and this was dealt with immediately. I suffer from gastric issues and found there was not much choice for people that can only eat plain food, however in a survey the management is taken this under review and this is not just this hotel this need to be addressed by every hotel and restaurant.

The bedrooms were very comfortable and had all the necessary facilities. Breakfast was very good. The staff very helpful and friendly. There were a few Christmas parties going on at the hotel; the bar was very busy but the staff managed it very well and did not wait long for my drinks order.

The main restaurant was closed so we had to order our food from the bar area which was very noisy. I ordered the pasta dish ( Rigatoni Arrabbiata with prawns) The rigatoni were overcooked and falling apart in a very liquid sauce. It was supposed to be an arrabbiata sauce but there were hardly any chillies in it and the prawns had just been added so had little flavour . My wife's choice of a Caesar salad was good.

The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The location is excellent. The bar food was delicious and the portion sizes were huge. The rooms were very clean. And as it was Easter week, they left a little chocolate bunny lollipop and a carton of apple juice in the room for thr child, which was a lovely touch

Thr only thing I could fault is the parking situation. You have to park in a public car park and the parking is not included in the price if you are room only. We stayed for 3 might and didn't move the car, and our parking would have been an additional €66, the girl on reception, thankfully validated our ticket and we only had to pay €20 euro. But still I find that having to pay for parking while staying in a hotel is ridiculous.

Beautiful Hotel, great facilities great staff. My kids loved the pool. The breakfast room was lovely and the food was great.

When I stayed I booked room only but subsequently had breakfast for 3. When I asked reception to validate my parking ticket they wouldn't and cited policy that room only doesn't include parking. I stressed that I had actually paid for breakfast and was told no sorry. It left a very bad taste in my mouth after a really lovely stay. Reception should have discretion to validate parking tickets without it being a big deal. My room was roughly 265e and breakfast was probably 30+ for 3, Surely common sense should have prevailed at the desk.

Loved this hotel! The value and facilities in the hotel and surroundings are just great! We had a spacious family room, kids absolutely loved being in the pool. Location is just perfect, where majority was walking distance, even with small kids

Not taking any points off the rating but few aspects to keep in mind: -kids club does not run if not many kids staying -pillows could be more comfortable -room temperature in the swimming pool should be higher -no air conditioner in the room but there's a fan that comes in handy. But with the windows open and being just above main entrance it gets too noisy at night

I loved the hotel, our room was lovely food was great. However the outdoor heaters didn’t work and were very much needed.

We stayed for x2 nights to attend a wedding the second day and all of the guests were trying to press the buttons outside to turn on the heaters and then hotel staff were asked and he couldn’t get it to work. I think especially for a wedding they should have been operational. There was lovely lights adorning the outdoor area but the heaters not working aff cited the comfort.

Our suite was so beautiful and luxurious! The bed was really comfy, the little tea and coffee dock was welcoming, the bathrooms were stunning, and the SHOWER.. unreal. We added on breakfast when we checked in, and it was well worth the money. I'm not normally a fan of hotel breakfasts but this one was very nice👌🏼

The ONLY thing I wasn't really a fan of was the clear glass in the bathroom which allowed the light in earlier than we would have liked🤣 But this was also part of the reason why I chose this room because I thought it was a beautiful feature, and it was, so I'm still glad I took it!
