I recently stayed at Addar Hotel in Jerusalem and had a pleasant experience. The hotel boasts a unique charm, blending historic architecture with a welcoming atmosphere. Overall, Addar Hotel is a great choice for travelers looking for an affordable and well-located stay in Jerusalem, especially those who appreciate historical ambiance over modern luxury.

The fact that breakfast is included in the bill. Polite and helpful staff. The staff/manager called Yahia was exceptionally helpful on the very last day when we had a bit of a problem somewhere else; he was very helpful. This place is recommended.

For the price, it's all good. Keep these prices for some time, and we will certainly come and stay here.

The breakfast was very good. Better I would say than most other hotel breakfasts. I really loved the outside garden. The eating area was nice and there was also an outside garden with tables and a swing. It was a pretty place to relax. There is a nice area to explore nearby with shops and a money exchange. However, there is also a train/metro station a few blocks way for easy access to Old Town and everywhere else.

I think the hotel hasn’t been kept up with in some ways, but overall, the decor is very nice and my room was very comfortable, it was actually more of a suite. For the amount of money I paid, it was really the best deal. But don’t expect it to be like a 5 star hotel.

Hotel has own east atmosphere - please don't lose it:) Staff is very friendly and hospital. Our room had good view to the garden. During the night was quite despite of the location near the road. The bed and bathroom were clean. In the morning was breakfasts: fresh vegetables, boiled eggs, toasts, gem and butter, cheese, cram cheese and hummus. Everything was fresh and tasty. Coffee and tea also :) We liked our time here.

Nice to make some cosmetic repairs to make impressions more excited.

The owner and personel is great guy. Super down to earth and helpful. Gave us bigger room than what we payed for. 3 hours before check-in time because he saw how tired we were. Also helped usnwith the way to transport to the Train Station without using taxi. Would recommend 100% and when I come to Jeruzalém again I will stay here.

The only thing I would change is time of the free breakfast- its 7-9, would make it till 10. Otherwise perfect. Delicious coffe.

staff were amazing and so helpful all the time. helped us also with shuttles and and excursion bookings (with no commission either). it was about a 10 minute walk to Damascus gate and the centre of Jerusalem. about 20 mins walk to all the amazing bars high street and food etc

air con was not amazing in our room but not majorly fussed

I loved that old fashioned Jordanian Middle Eastern atmosphere . You enter the lobby - you are in the Middle East and the Levant. Enough with the plastic europeanish places . The place is a time-capsule and I hope it remains as it is

The garden and the place for breakfast is very cozy. I think it would be an excellent idea to have a coffee machine and basic things so that the guests can prepare their own tea and coffee all day long and whenever they want to. This hotel is very “homey”. This will make the guests feel really at home. It’s easy: Just let a kettle, Nescafé , black Arab coffee or maybe filter coffee and filters and let the guests to prepare it themselves . It will be great

My stay was amazing. The staff were very helpful and even upgraded our room to ensure our comfort. The location is ideal, near the tram and the old town. I definitely recommend it!
