The location was great! The staff very attentive. The property was very clean. the breakfast was a healthy and tasty.

The renovations were a minor irritation, and the furnishings slightly out dated, but still very clean and comfortable

The place is excellent!! Accessible in Damascus gate, the Harold gate is just a few steps, inside you can find the via dolorosa,also the tomb, the real and the fabricated one is there!! In Damascus gate you find the holy sepulchre!! But you can find the holy sepulchre in all gates but for me Damascus is easy! Also the bus going to the western wall is very near to Rivoli! Also Solomon cave is very near!! I highly recommend Rivoli to everyone!!Its not very modern but I slept well there! I choose this because all are accessible!!!

This hotel was exactly what I wanted and was everything it advertised. Clean and comfy with old world Israeli charm. Everyone was very friendly and helpful. The included breakfast was a great start to the day. Great location near Damascus Gate where the shuttle from Allenby Bridge dropped me off. As a single older woman I felt very safe. Easy to get to the airport using the light rail then the train. Would definitely choose again.

If you need to be in Jerusalem close to the Old City, this hotel offers you one of the best possible deals, being a few minutes away from Damascus gate at a very reasonable price. Keeping your expectations aligned with what you are paying for, and generally keeping in mind how expensive the city is, Rivoli is a no-nonsense place that should be more than able to meet your needs during your stay in Jerusalem.

It fit into my budget and was just outside one of the gates. The staff were wonderful to work with.

Linens looked dingy (but clean!) There was no mini fridge for my waters (an essential when you're walking the city and they heat up so quickly before you get home). The lack of blackout curtains for the street light that was directly outside my window and kept my room lit up all night king

Nice welcome with a lot of help at night hours, friendly and helpful staff at the reception and in the restaurant, good breakfast (good coffee), family atmosphere - everyone helps each other, also trust between the staff and the guest, good location in the busier but nice Arab quarter (markets, shops), just a short walk to Herod's Gate and the Old Town ...

Everything went well. Specilly, the breakfast. We were treated to a good size breakfast each day. Mr. Hossam, the main staff was very jovial and provided us very good service.

This is a fantastic little hotel run by some really helpful gentlemen. The breakfast was tasty, the room was comfy and warm.

there was a little issue with getting hot water and I could get my door to lock.

Conviniently close to Al Aqsa Mosque. Great Value for money. Basic room, bathroom and breakfast but worth the price. Staff were lovely
