This is a perfect location if you want to walk to the Old City or do some street shopping in East Jerusalem. The staff was very hospitable. The lobby is nice and the breakfast has many options.

On two occasions my access card didn't work and I had to get a new one.

Location, great hospitality. Get coffee in the morning as much as you wish. The Arab Area is vibrant. 5-10 walking distance to the bus terminal to take the bus to for example Dead Sea or Bethlehem. Also the cable trailway/tram to the city centre or to the train station is behind the bus terminal.

The breakfast is the same almost every day. But you can enjoy as much coffee as you want the whole morning.

The hotel has a great and safe location for those seeking to be in Palestinian East Jerusalem. Very friendly and helpful staff. The rooms have good size and some with balconies looking at Salahuddin street.

New Capitol Hotel has been an exceptionally pleasant surprise in East Jerusalem. The location was excellent, minutes walk from Damascus Gate, on Salah Al-Din street opposite a quite renovated square . The hotel itself is renovated brand new, the lobby was ideal for socializing, the room was clean, the bed was comfortable and the staff was helpful, polite and great sense of humor. Amir and Ahmad in the reception desk were both very helpful and did their best to the guests , who even got a chocolate as a welcome treat - and so did I.

The bed was too comfortable, I didn’t want to get up - and, as a result , unfortunately I lost the breakfast which was served only until 9:30. Therefore, I would suggest that breakfast hours should be expanded until 10:30 and checkout should change from 11:00 to 12:00. By the way, I heard that breakfast is very good. No wonder that the hotel was full of Turkish tourists, for whom breakfast is a very important daily procedure . As said, I preferred to continue my sleep.

The best part of this hotel was very friendly staffs! Whenever we needed something, they helped us really well.

I traveled alone to Jerusalem. My couple of friends in the plan had to cancel last miniute due to unexpected situations. The lonliness made me so miserable and cranky. But my stay in this hotel gave me some kind of comfort and support. Honestly, the staffs amazing team. Kind, warm welcoming and very accomodating to the guests. They all treat me like a family from the manager Mustefa who is willing to go beyond and extra miles made my stay comfortable and special. The girl at front desk Ayat was so warm and welcoming very supportive. Naser and Ameer are amazing friendly knoweldgeable and ready to help in anyway. Ahmed from house keeping very smily, fast response trying to provide anything i needed, check me out every now and then how i am doing. The staffs in the dinning room and Kitchen are amazing too. Besides, the location is perfect and center and walking distance to old city Jerusalem especially to Demascus gate and all tourist sites. Including the bus station and the tram station that takes you to the new city Jerusalem. They made me think planning for another visit to Jerusalem with my friends again.

Breakfast is ok could be more tasty and better. Less variety of salad and veggies. I still appreciate their effort trying to provide if you have special request or order.

Everything was great for us. At the reception we were answered for every question we had. The breakfast was great. The room was clean, confortable and no problem with the noise. We were like 5 min walk until the old part. Thank u for everything🙏🙏🙏❤️

Location is good to near herod gate.

Room facilities are not perfect. Soap tray in shower booth are not there and wifi signal is weak.
