The hotel grounds are beautiful, with a lovely, lush garden in between the stone buildings of the estate. Ample free parking was available on site. The service was superb, all staff were helpful and very friendly. Breakfast was rich and tasty, and there was a selection of vegan items available upon request. Complimentary beverages and water bottles were stocked daily in the room, and having a Nespresso coffee machine complete with capsules in the room was lovely. The hotel was beautifully decorated for the approaching Christmas holiday and the festive atmosphere was warm and welcoming. We enjoyed drinks at the bar, which is comfortable and cozy, lovely for relaxing after a day of exploring the city.

The hotel feels like part of the history of the city. You have a real sense that you are in Jerusalem. It’s not a hotel that makes you feel you could be anywhere in the world.

The only issue I had was with the concierge, I enquired about a half day tour of the city. he recommended a private full day price tour. I asked was it possible to just do a half day group tour, he didn’t respond and kept pushing the full day private tour, this really put me off. When I asked for the tour brochure they had a half day group tour every day. But all the other staff were excellent and lovely.

Beautiful architecture. Comfortable rooms with impeccable beds and toiletry. The gorgeous patio is perfect for breakfast, lunch or just gathering around the table for a chat or a box game. Excellent service, kind and professional.

Just to mention something, service at the Cellar Bar where dinner was served, is kind of slow. It was very busy. But the waiters did their best, and if you are not in a hurry (we were not), then lean back and enjoy a unique outdoor bar and delicious food.

This is an amazing hotel! You feel that you are being transported back in time with amazing food and service. The tranquil courtyard garden is a wonderful setting to have breakfast, lunch or just drinks. We stayed in a Pasha room (51), very quiet and secluded with a small garden. . If I was staying again I would opt for the rooms with a terrace - rooms 406, 407, 408 and 409. Slightly more money but worth it.

My only complaint was that the garden furniture in our room garden was quite uncomfortable and cheap. It really needs some loungers or more comfortable chairs/sofa

A fabulous hotel with wonderful facilities and great staff who really made our stay a memorable one. We would stay here again for sure if we return to Jerusalem in the future.

After confirming that the hotel catered for Vegan's, we were disappointed with the 1st mornings lack of choice for breakfast. Then after pointing out our disappointment with the management they really turned things around and made great efforts for the remainder of of our stay. Keep the effort up and remember people who follow a vegan diet deserve good choices just the same as any other paying guest.

Windows to a noisy street (constant noise of customers and transport from a bakery and pizzeria working day/night). Breakfast selection and service - cold food, which should be warm, had to wait a long time and repeatedly reminded to bring tea. Breakfast restaurant in a different building than the room (mornings are quite cold in February). The sightseeing offered by the hotel are extremely expensive. A taxi ordered through a hotel is much more expensive than one stopped on the street.

Location was great as was the food with very generous portions. The central garden was lovely and the lady in charge at the desk moved us from the first room in an annex into a nicer one of the same price in the main building very graciously. T

There was a slight air of faded grandness. One of the plug points near the bed didn’t work, the TV was hung at a slight angle, a balcony door was jammed shut. After arriving and going through security there was no help or direction. When I went to look for something I’d dropped on the bathroom floor the area under the sink was thick with dust

It was so fun to stay at such a historic hotel—and such a beautiful hotel. We loved exploring the grounds, which were lush outside and wonderfully decorated inside. We at breakfast at the hotel every morning and genuinely looked forward to it, as all the food was delicious and there were many options for every palate. We also ate dinner at the hotel one night, which was also great. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. They greeted us every time we arrived and wished us great days when we'd leave. We recommend the hotel highly and would happily return on our next visit.

I had a single room, and it was quite small. It was comfortable, clean, and the decor was lovely, just a bit smaller than I was anticipating. The rest of my family members shared rooms for two, which were larger and more spacious.

It's a lovely hotel with a distinctive atmosphere. The rooms are spacious with high ceilings, and the staff is generally friendly. However, I can't say that I really enjoyed the restaurant. The dinner was alright but nothing special, and the breakfast was not bad but almost unattended, with the busy staff running around, despite the restaurant being only 30% occupied.

At breakfast the kitchen and food are located far from the patio tables
