My experience was more than wonderful. I strongly recommend booking this hotel. I was with my young children, and we received exceptional treatment, with great care given to me as a pregnant woman, including help with my luggage. Additionally, the staff made sure to bring juice, coloring books, and crayons for the children — a very thoughtful gesture. They ensured we were given a room in a quiet area of the hotel. The staff was cooperative and always available for any questions or requests. The hotel is historic, beautiful, and magnificent — it tells a great story. The room was very clean and functional. Breakfast was excellent: varied, nutritious, and always fresh. For those arriving by car, there is a paid parking lot about a 5-minute walk from the hotel. On top of that, the hotel’s location is strategic — close to the market, just a few minutes’ walk from the Church of the Holy Sepulchre in Jerusalem, and near the shopping mall. Many thanks to dear Amir, Rania, Rula, and Saeed — you made our holiday a warm one, and we felt right at home.

Wow! 10++++ Fantastic location, certainly the best in Old Jerusalem, just inside Jaffa gate on left side. When going through the gate, look for a small sign on second floor level saying ”Imperial”. Entry from main street, at the back of the tunnel. No neon signs here! : ) Colonial style boutique hotel with the friendliest and MOST helpful people I have ever met while visiting 120 countries and after thousands of hotel nights. This is not a hotel franchise, but original and local style and very safe. Great decorations to enjoy. The building is 100 years old, which is part of the charm. Room was basic but very clean and 100% functional. Nothing to worry about. Breakfast also local style and very fresh and plentiful. No widowmaker sausages and bacon but the real local and healthy food. Remember to go to the rooftop to enjoy the remarkable view over old Jerusalem. (Especially the sunset was nice there. Bring your own bottle of wine, which you can buy on Jaffa Street). Just few meters from the hotel door there is an equally great restaurant as the hotel is. Try the lamb chops. We had it twice. Reasonable prices. Best food during our whole trip and extremely nice staff also there. Thank you, thank you, thank you for the amazing experience! We will definitely be back.

In case you have limited mobility, the stairs might be a challenge. No elevator, as the building is much in its original charming state.

We’ve stayed at this hotel four times, and we’ll definitely return again. The hotel is very cozy, with rooms cleaned daily. One of the highlights is the staff, extremely kind, helpful, and professional. They always welcomed us with a smile and were ready to assist. The breakfast is delicious, with a good variety of fresh, tasty options, a perfect way to start the day. The location is outstanding, just a few minutes’ walk from the Church of the Holy Sepulchre and other major sites in the Old City. We always feel safe and truly welcomed here. We highly recommend this hotel!

The staff are outstanding and go above and beyond to please. The breakfast is tasty and filling, and the rooms are clean, comfortable, and quiet. The rooftop terrace is a treat for looking out over the city, getting some sunbathing done or just resting. The location is convenient for exploring either the Old City or the new parts.

I can't really think of anything I didn't like. Yes it isn't the most modern but it has an old world charm to it that more than compensates

Very Good Location, 10 to 12 minutes walk to Masjid AlAqsa and other Landmark, locations. Great Breakfast, family run hotel, very very friendly. Hotel by itself is a landmark, built in ( I think) 1890.

An elevator would have been nice, but I knew going in there is none, as mentioned it is 100 plus year old historical hotel and accept no elevator. Regardless, staff was glad to help with luggage bringing up top my room.

I was so pleasantly surprised - the hotel is beautiful filled with artwork and antiques; it is visually stunning a middle eastern dream! The room was great with a modern washroom, the breakfast was amazing fresh fruit cheeses meat and a chef to make you eggs as desired. This is a family run hotel and they are the loveliest people so friendly so professional so very accommodating, they truly made my stay all the more enjoyable I sent my daughter to stay alone for a a few nights and they were amazing to her as well - HIGHLY RECOMEND this hotel and the location is perfection!

everything was excellent. superb accommodation, right by the sea, with sea view, exceptional panorama, ultra-spacious room, very well equipped, and cheap compared to other hotels nearby. shops, restaurants, fastfood very close and accessible. 10 out of 10. I highly recommend it, but don't crowd in September as I want to repeat the experience. The hosts were very prompt and efficient in everything we requested. 17:22

I didn't find anything I didn't like. Maybe I stayed too short.

The location is perfect if you want to visit the Old City or Mamila or City Center (Jaffa Street). Everything is within reach by feet. There is parking in Karta Parking Center nearby. The rooms are just as pictured, clean, with clean sheets, clean washrooms and daily cleaning and towels replacement. The lobby looks like a museum, very authentic and nice (the attached picture is from the lobby). The staff is amazing, so genuinely polite & helpful, including providing tips about the city, etc. It's also quiet there from after around 23:00 until around 09:00AM despite. There is also a nice view from the roof. There is coffee and water available 24/7. And airconditioner in each room.

Breakfast was really good and tasty on our first day, but on the second one not everything seemed as fresh as on the day before.

The accommodation has a great location for visiting Jerusalem. The best thing is that you stay in the Old City after the day tourists leave. The hotel has a nice terrace with a view of the city. The hotel is in a vintage style. If the owner cleaned the dust and fixed small things, it would be great. The hotel has big potential. It’s a pity the owner doesn’t see it. But I would still stay here again. The staff is very helpful. Great breakfast buffet.

Authentic and timeless architecture. The history of the this exceptional building is proudly displayed throughout its halls and rooms. The rooftop terraces affords beautiful views of the Old City of Jerusalem. The property is just inside the Old City’s Jaffa Gate making it perfect for exploring during your pilgrimage to the holy land. I would never stay anywhere else.

The New Imperial Hotel leaves nothing to be desired.
