A great location in Baka less than ten minutes walk from Emek Refaim and five minutes from the bus stop into the city. It was quiet and sunny, but right next to lovely cafes, little shops and the best felafel (Felafel Oved). Separate bedroom and fully kitted out kitchen and a small patio worked really well for us.

Online communication was poor to non-existent. any messages through Booking.com got an automated message about the “high volume of inquiries” with a suggestion to WhatsApp or call. I tried both with no response, trying to arrange a different check in time than the allowed two-hour window. Staff on site were lovely however.

Excellent location close to the old town of Jerusalem (20 min walk), the stop of number of buses nearby: 10 min to Jaffa gate or ca 20 min to the check point to reach Betlehem (then 40 min walk from the wall to the centre), quiet and priviliged quarter, cafe/restaurant on the grount floore, grocery shop at the neadby corner. The bedroom is devided from a living room with a kitchen corner, basic equipment is available incl. a fridge.

Staff was extremely nice and helpful. Location is great. Room had a small living room with a stovetop and some dishes, and a small fridge--very helpful. Also, there is free parking on the premises. Location is great with a lot of shops and restaraunts nearby, and the bus stop right down the street if you want to go into the center (it's walkable but about a half hour to most interesting places, like the shuk).

Office is not open 24/7. We didn't have any emergencies and there is a number to call, but just something to be aware of.

Location is excellent, and Derech Beit Lechem has a relaxed Jerusalem vibe. Staff is warm and always helpful. We appreciate having separate living room and some kitchen facilities. We are repeat customers of this hotel, which in many ways suits us well.

The time has definitely come for an upgrade/re-do of the facilities. Things are looking quite tired and worn, and the drab colours are quite dated and a little depressing. Also, the kitchen is a bit under-equipped and has no cloths, wipes or paper towels to keep it clean.

Loved the location- convenient to walk to Emek Refaim and right behind a fantastic restaurant (The Grand Cafe) as well as within a block of other places to grab food. The staff was very kind and quick to help me when I had small issues with the lock on the back patio and when I asked for a slightly late checkout. The interior of my unit was not the newest but it was large and a great place for a reasonable price!

We had a fantastic stay at Raphael’s Residence in the beautiful Baka neighborhood of Jerusalem. The area is charming, quiet, and full of character—with lovely cafés, shops, and tree-lined streets just a short walk away. The apartment itself was spotless, comfortable, and had everything we needed for a relaxing stay. Highly recommend !

Great location plus it's two rooms and a small kitchenette. Staff is very friendly and helpful!

No food/breakfast on shabbat. It would be nice if they had something small (like bread/cheese/milk) that they could provide when you are staying over on shabbat. There is a24 hour store nearby but nearly everything closes an hour before shabbat or more.

This mixture of apartment and hotel was perfect, especially since I stayed in Jerusalem for more than a week - my room included a small kitchenette with fridge, toaster, electric kettle, microwave etc., and the rooms were were simple, but comfortable and nice. The staff was very attentive and nice. In walking distance, there are cafés, grocery shops, a pharmacy, busses to the city center, Mt. Scopus and Givat Ram (university campus) and other parts of the city.

The wifi connection in my room was unstable – this can be a little off-putting, if you need to rely on wifi for work purposes.

This place is good for what it offers; small apartments with a little bit of kitchen (fridge, sink, microwave). It's a little tired (appliances, furniture, lighting are showing their age) but it is comfortable and is in an excellent location. Lior and his staff are all very nice and helpful. The people involved were all great.

Some surfaces were dusty, the cup on the sink had yucky gunk in bottom and looked like it hadn't been cleaned for a long time (I didn't use it). The flooring in bathrooms looks old. fixtures are showing their age.

Staff is very helpful and hospitable, great location, close to the German Colony with lots of restaurants, hotel located near the street with many shops, cafes, convenience stores, about 10 minutes drive to the Old city. The rooms are a bit outdated but had everything we needed, kitchen dishes and cutlery. Will stay again when we go next time to Jerusalem.
