The room was spacious and clean. We had a nice view of the river form our room. There were also complimentary tea and heating eye masks in the room and my wife really enjoyed them. Breakfast was great, it had a sizable selection of fruits. They also provided us a toiletry kit for our infant daughter, that was a pleasant surprise. The tram (line A) and several bus lines have stops near the hotel, so going to the main shopping areas or tourist destinations is easy. Plus, the bus to and form the airport stop right in front of the hotel, so its easy for guests without a car.

The hotel is located by the river so the view is excellent. However, the hotel is surrounded by residential areas, so there are not a lot of shops or restaurants within a 5 min. walk.

Location was pretty good. We can walk from Kumamoto station, or from the tram Gionbashi station. Also, the reception desk staff can converse well in english and i find that really helpful. The room is very spacious.

Our room was very stuffy.... we had to ask for an additional fan in both rooms. The air conditioner (giving hot air) is centrally controlled hence we could not control the temperature.

This is a rather premium hotel at a reasonable pricing for room rates. Breakfast is not bad. Do consider to buy the vouchers at the front desk for JPY2200 in advance, otherwise, the breakfast is JPY2800 per diner.

Not that I can think of. The only one is the location. About 15 minute walk from the rail station. Can be a challenge if you have big luggage or when it's raining.

great location, near kumamoto train station and the shopping arcade area plus all the sight seeing around Kumamoto to see the castle, shrines and temples. Open the window for a great view of the canal which is running through the city. it's a typical business hotel.

The breakfast was quite expensive but it's a buffet - maybe offer smaller sets to reduced pricing. You would be better off getting meal outside the hotel

The tram line right outside of the door was very convenient for getting to many of the sights to see. The staff were very welcoming and efficient. The hotel itself was very modern, clean, and comfortable. The breakfast selection was amazing, everything you could want. We would stay here again.

The staff were so friendly, welcoming and helpful. Breakfast was very good with a broad range of options. The location was very convenient - a 12 minute walk to the train station and very close to the tram/bus stops.

A great hotel close to tram stop, and within walking distance of the main train station (10 mins), which feels like a European 4 star hotel. Had a big spacious room on a high floor. Good, abundant breakfast. There is a limousine bus to the airport which stops directly at the hotel.

Facilities such as TV May need to upgrade. If there is laundry provision, it would be great. I saw from some articles that pick up service from Kumamoto station is available, but now doesn’t.

The interior is clean, refurbished, and trendy. The hotel also has parking spaces if you drive in. Location is within walking distance to the heartland of the city, which is close to the train station with all the fancy stores and restaurants nearby. The dinner buffet is also outstanding. The scene from the window is also gorgeous that you can see the river and the willows alongside.

Many Hotel function were disabled by Hotel's policy which cause us waste our time
