Great location at the top of the peninsula, within a couple of minutes walk of hotel. Great bars, restaurants and gelato. The hotel was absolutely spot on and great value for money. We had small double rooms which were adequate for our 3 nights stay, extremely clean and modern and well designed for the space. The best breakfast spread we’ve experienced in Italy. On our departure we had to leave before breakfast was served and the hotel arrange for us to have packed up breakfast on our journey. The grounds are beautiful and well maintained, nice little areas for a drink. Roof top pool is an absolutely bonus and needed in 30 degree heat. The members of staff we’re all extremely friendly and helpful, communication in the lead up to our arrival was extremely good, with information on car parking, restaurant recommendations, bars and help with shuttle bus to the old time. We will be returning for another stay.

No faults at all

The calmness and peace around and in it. The bike rental was problem-free, the bathroom and the room for three was extra clean and tidy, check-in is fast and easy. We got real good recommendations what to do and where to eat close to the hotel. The hotel is easily accessible, the bus from Verona stopping at the end of the street, and in the same time the hotel is in a calm and peaceful environment, almost like there is no neighbors, we could fully enjoy the silence. Throughout our stay, we felt safe and in complete relaxation. The rooftop with the pool and the view at the lake is amazing!

Everything was perfect, maybe we missed only a restaurant from it. The breakfast was so good and carefully prepared, that we would’ve liked to eat in on the evenings too.

Loved the rooftop pool - there was plenty of sun beds and even an adults only area with sun beds. Breakfast was lovely and the cleaners were very fast at tidying our room while we were down having our breakfast! Great location for getting the shuttle up to the Sirmione peninsula, or to get the LN026 bus to Peschiera del Garda where there is a train station.

Barely a complaint but the bar in the hotel and on the rooftop pool were cash only or you could charge to your room. We preferred to pay for things as we went and we had brought plenty of cash so this wasn’t a big issue though.

Every member of staff we met was, without exception, very friendly, welcoming, and courteous. The hotel was very clean, pleasant, and very well-organised. The breakfast was excellent with a great deal of choice of food and drinks and the staff were very attentive to both quickly clearing the tables and keeping all the food and drinks availability in good supply. The rooftop swimming pool is in excellent condition, very well-maintained, and a good size. The sunbeds and furniture around the pool were of premium quality. The pool didn't feel heated or was certainly a chilly temperature when my family and I used it so beware stepping in if it's not a warm day! There is also a well-equipped poolside bar which also supplies towels (there is a small charge of 2,50 € per towel). The hotel is nicely located in a fairly-quiet residential area and only a very short walk to both Lake Garda and shops, restaurants, buses and other local facilities.

There was nothing we didn't like.

Firstly there is a lot of choice for the breakfast buffet. It all tastes good too! The rooftop pool is amazing overlooking lake Garda and the bar up there too is great The bed was super comfy and slept well every night The staff were super welcoming, especially the two we had serving us at the bar A good location, near a bus stop, lots of restaurants and not too far from Sirmoine old town 100 percent recommend especially for the price we paid!

Location at the top of Sirmione, 5 mins walk to the local shops, lake, restaurants and shuttle bus to the old town which runs really regularly. The staff gave us a warm welcome on arrival and throughout our stay, it was like being welcomed home. The pool is lovely with beautiful views. The breakfast was relaxed had everything you could wish for from a stylish boutique hotel rather than feeling mass market.

This is just being picky but lowering the aircon by 1 degree would have been appreciated.

Hotel staff greeted us on arrival and were very friendly and helpful, we asked for an additional pillow as there was only one spare in the wardrobe. Hotel was clean throughout and modern. Hotel has a pool which we didn’t use but looked like there were plenty of sun longers available to use. Breakfast was included and had a variety of things to choose from.

The only thing I can put here and it’s been really picky is that when we arrived to our room the bin in the bathroom had a few items in it so wasn’t sure if the cleaners had missed it but it wasn’t anything major. The shower cubicle was small too so wasn’t much room to be able to move in it.

We had a lovely stay at Hotel Alfieri, from a warm welcome at the front desk (all members of staff were great), to a nice air conditioned room, tasty breakfast and lovely rooftop pool. For a smaller hotel they optimise friendly and welcoming spaces. We especially loved the bike rental service they also offer and had a fun day exploring the local wineries.

The rooms are a little snug but when you are out most of the day that's not a big issue. The hotel is also a good 40 mins walk to old town but there is shuttle bus you can get too (we just walked and grabbed a cocktail half way!).

Very friendly and helpful people, which easily communicate in English. Rooms were clean, but not really that big, but good for the price paid. Great pool and friendly people at the bar as well!

Parking was advertised as free and near the accommodation. In reality this was the case.. however, we had to walk all the way from the supermarket to the hotel. Parking in the garage was full and came at a cost of 10 euros a day. We filtered on the parking when booking and every spot is taken every day.. so this was the only disappointment.

The breakfast was fantastic in a relaxing environment. it had a wide selection which would suit anyone, the quality of the food was exceptionally high and the breakfast staff were friendly and very professional. This has truly been the best breakfast we have had in italy, far better than the 4 star hotels we have stayed in. The beds were clean and comfortable and the room size was decent with opening windows for fresh air, we like fresh air, who doesn't The shower was Powerful and refreshing with good temperature control. The roof top pool area is a wow factor, very clean with plenty of sun beds and terrace. The location is great, a very short walk takes you to the lake and path, it has benches to enjoy a relaxing lakeside view. There is also a Migross supermarket a short walk from the hotel, they sell everything you could need. The hotel has small recycling bins on each floor for plastics, tins,bottles. Great forward thinking and a credit to the hotel. The hotel was clean throughout and all staff were friendly and helpful We would for sure stay at this hotel again.

TV is small, but this makes no difference as all hotels in Italy don't have many English speaking TV channels, if any
