A really thoughtfully designed room with attention to details. Cool decor with a sense of humor, lots of little things that give a luxury feel - from nice glass ware, tea and teapot, to the thoughtful lighting. Comfortable and quiet, with a great monsoon shower. my room had an outlook onto a green area. Very central location - 10 minute walk (or less) to Angel station - city road basin, with the peace of the canal is directly across the road. Staff were very polite and helpful.

Booking.com showed one rate and when I clicked through to pay the price jumped £40 = this should not happen. Internet speeds were really poor. Strong perfume smell in the foyer - sensory hell.

The hotel is beyond praise: 1. The friendly staff at the reception desk provided assistance, advice, consultations, and resolution of any inquiries in a prompt and efficient manner. 2. The hotel itself is new, featuring a remarkably creative design! We experienced aesthetic pleasure from our room and our overall stay at the hotel. The lobby, restaurant, and gym are all very thoughtfully designed and enjoyable. There is a powerful hairdryer, a coffee machine, a kettle, a refrigerator, a modern television, glasses, a shaker, and a teapot, along with all the essentials for a comfortable stay: slippers, a bathrobe, and excellent thick towels! 3. Breakfast is a separate delight! Choosing a room with breakfast was the best decision. The staff is very friendly and courteous. If the management is reading this review, I kindly request that you appreciate your breakfast staff! They are incredibly good, kind, and cheerful individuals. Such warmth is rarely encountered! They always inquire about how your day went and how you are feeling. They deserve the title of Employees of the Year, including both the reception staff and the waiters. Furthermore, the breakfast time is quite extended, accommodating both early risers and those who prefer to sleep in. There is no need to worry about oversleeping. The breakfast offers a wide selection: fruits, fresh vegetables, cheeses, juices, pastries, eggs prepared in any style, and many variations of the English breakfast. Every Saturday, delightful souvenirs are given as gifts during breakfast. 4. In the evening, the restaurant operates à la carte. I highly recommend having dinner there. The cuisine is exceptional, particularly the English pie. 5. I would also like to highlight the excellent location. The hotel is situated between two metro stations. Additionally, there is a bus stop nearby, providing direct bus routes to Baker Street (205) and Camden (55) without any transfers or stops.

The location was excellent, the entire hotel is exactly what I needed for my city break in London. Beautiful and modern hotel with an actual style and not boring like all the others. Staff was extremely kind, helpful and super fast when needed. Room was clean and well equipped in case you forgot to take something with you. Breakfast was delicious, nice range of sweet and savory options for everyone. One of the best hotel experiences I had in my life.

Couch in our room was a nice touch but terrible design, extremely not comfortable to lay on. Breakfast was really good but quite boring when you are staying for more than 3 days, would be nice to have some specials to mix things up. Cleaning of the room was not perfect every day, the staff clearly had good days and bad days ;)

Breakfast was fine with a good selection of dishes. We had one evening meal at the hotel which was very good. Thankfully there is air conditioning at the hotel which gave welcome respite from the stifling heat!

We were allocated rooms suitable for disabled guests which we had not requested but accepted when told at check-in that these were the rooms available. The rooms were comfortable, clean, cool and I feel sure the bathrooms are well equipped for guests requiring these facilities but presented some minor discomfort for us (low washbasin. high toilet & not an adequate space to put our toiletries). Also we would have preferred to have sachets of instant coffee rather than the capsules. Maybe these are available but we didn't ask (too weary).

amazing place to stay, the decor was amazing and i also got an upgrade on check in which made the welcome even better, Talitha on the check in desk was wonderful, really polite and a real credit to your front of house team if you can give Talitha a little bit of praise it would be great, not to forget the other members of your team who were also very welcoming - thanks for a great stay and hope to be back soon!

I’ve seen a couple more reviews about the same thing, Wi-Fi should have been a lot better, took a while to connect it with a simple username & passcode would just cut off randomly, for a 4* star hotel you would expect it to be a lot better, it was difficult as my own 5G struggled to work in the room also, so if your travelling for work etc im sure they had premium wifi but that shouldn’t be necessary the standard one should be a lot better.

The style of the hotel caught my attention when looking for a place to stay in central London, and price was very correct also. Style of the lobby and the room is awesome! You have everything you need in the room. Reception staff is very kind and helpful. The little snacks and candies near Reception are a nice plus.

Subway stations (Angel and Old Street) are at a 10/15 minutes walk from the hotel, closer could have been better. Water from shower was leaking out on the bathroom floor, door should be sealed better.

Heating / air con in our room didn’t work Food smells coming from big extractors opposite building at times Our room was opposite a staff only door at end of corridor- lots of banging of doors as staff were not careful when passing through them. Room ceiling really let the room down - yes it might be part of the set up / look but to lay in bed looking at an unfinished ceiling along with with the yellow foam and filthy marks wasn’t really acceptable . Breakfast was vastly over priced - only having one very slow coffee / tea maker that you have to queue and do yourself is rather thoughtless. Tea was tasteless. Items ran out, had to request top ups.

Having owned our own small hotel, we don't usually write reviews, as we prefer to message the property privately. if there's an issue. Our stay at the nhow was so good that we're breaking our rule :) Bedrooms were comfortable, quiet and had everything that we needed and more for our stay. It's the small details we really noticed - shower controls placed so you didn't get wet turning the shower on, dimmer switches for the bathroom lights so you don't get blinded in the middle of the night, comfy bathrobes, well placed plug sockets. All simple things but you.d be amazed how many places don't have them. The decor is not going to be to some people's taste, but it was fun and we loved it. Staff were excellent, checking us in early even though we just showed up to drop bags off before going to an exhibition. Will absolutely be back to stay here - definitely our new favourite place to stay in London.

Lovely, quirky hotel. Very clean. Very fun interior. Polite, kind staff. It was my husband's birthday so the hotel decorated the room with balloons and a fun message on the mirror. Didn't actually stay the night as my husbands phone was stolen near the hotel but the bed looked super comfy 😊.

The area. Unfortunately we were walking back to the hotel just 5 minutes away and my husband had his phone stolen so we didn't actually stay overnight we then drove home. So if walking anywhere in London just be really careful and keep your phone safe as it really shuck us up. Look out for masked men on motorbikes/electric bikes.

Had a nice dimmer light for bathroom, ideal in the night if you need to use it so it’s not blinding. Had a mirror on a stand with a magnifier which is ideal. Wardrobe had a light inside. Had a large work surface to put items. Desk wasn’t huge which is much better as it wastes space. Like a large bed for space. Had robes.

The bed was quite hard and hotel pillows are very uncomfortable always. They are lumpy and too puffy. We only had 1 large but 4 smaller which were too small. It was quite warm on the 7th floor. I do not like large toiletry bottles. I like small individual ones. No biscuits and could have had more sugars. There was a small fridge so fresh milk could be included. I dint like the ideal of shelf milk.
